Excellent views, fun rides with lots of variety, the only reasons I give this 4 out of 5 are that many of the banks have a rut right below where I want to ride and there are soooo many fist sized rocks and many of them are sharp, laying right in the trail and on the banks. I would take this into my own hands if it was deemed acceptable by the general public. Overall a great trail though.
What a trail system, it had everything you want and then some. I was blown away with how hard and challenging some of the trails were. I LOVED IT!!
Excellent. Rocks and dirt with a view. Get rowdy on a bike or by foot
Favorite trails in the twin ports area.
Best in the state for challenging terrain
Arguably the very best singletrack in Duluth (and thats saying something!), especially for more technically advanced riders! These trails can get legitimately gnarly, with big consequences, if youre not careful. There is more rock here than just about any other singletrack in Duluth and plenty of technical features to test your skills. Also, a number of big challenging downhill routes in the NIMBY cluster offer drops, jumps, and general gnar. The trails are all well-signed with trail names, difficulty level, and permissible uses and there are system trail maps posted at major trail junctions. These trails rock!
Great tech trails
Fantastic trails year round
