Amazing there is a body of water this expansive minutes from the city. Went kayaking. Smooth water, lots of heron and turtles. Boats respectful of wake. A few sketchy peeps in some of the route 33 pull offs, so choose carefully. Good put in by the small canoe boathouse about a quarter mile North of the dam.

The actual Columbus & Parks OShaughnessy Reservoir is less impressive. They have canoes and a pier for their programs. There is a port-a-potty here. Also a shelterhouse with tables that may be occupied at times by their camp programs.

Via kayak- clean, quiet, and big! Lots of little coves to jump into, and lots of big birds! Looking forward to going back soon.

Kinda smelly. Lots of litter. But those are the flaws. Honestly besides that cool place to walk around and find cool driftwood. Also if you had a dog probably a cool place to let them swim.

Although this was a successful rescue mission night with lots of excitement, this is one of my favorite get away from it all spots. Love the scenery and sound of the water.

Amazing and thrilling view. Looks like a waterfall. Its free also. You can really go to the bottom and see the beauty youself. I walked the bridge and the air flow gets so strong upthere. I can stay hours here. And it has some benches near it to sit. Has sirens in case of flood warning. Look at pics
