Very awesome playground especially because there is a few different kinds of swings even one for mom or dad can out there baby in a baby swing that is attached to a regular swing so instead of just pushing them you can actually swing with them!! Also has a splash pad but because of covid it did not run thus summer.

Loved it here as a kid....we used to walk down from s.m.a.to run a mile around the park

Beautiful!! Spacious, clean, well maintained by ground keepers and visitors alike. Great for a walk, picnic, family outing, doggie dates or laying in the grass reading a book.

The park is a nice place to walk, but there appears to not much attention being given to the landscaping near the pool parking lot, it is over grow with weeds. There also is a lot of litter around the benches.

Its a nice, quiet park. Have to pay to park, but the price is reasonable if you plan to stay for more than a few minutes ($1 hr for the first 2 hours, $2 per hour thereafter). There are some picnic tables, but a lot of people spread a blanket or sit under a tree.

A great place to take your kids or grandchildren, even in the winter. In the summer theres some water displays that cool you down and the kids love it. Also, theres a cool boat to climb on and some musical instruments to play for all to hear. Its very close to the Childrens Museum, which is another wonderful pleasure year round.

One of the best places to be in dover. Also pretty close to the library and down town.

Visited for the farmers market on my vacation. The playground was amazing complete with an organic garden, a boat, and a music area with drums and xylophone type instruments as well as the usual sand area, swings and slides

Kinda took over much of the area for a bit this past weekend, what with the picnic benches and long reach of grassy expanse. Actually made for a rather nice day.

Weve been coming here since it was built, shortly after my son was born. Its a nice playground, theyve even replaced the missing ends of the drumsticks that someone ripped off last year. The water feature is fun for pretty much every age. My only complaint is that the big slide is a little steep and might be better if the end was extended slightly, as kids tend to come flying out of it and can hit the ground pretty hard.

Very well let are for the kids or a picnic.

Fantastic park right in the center of the city. The playground is expansive and the childrens museum is right next to it. Also has nice views of the river and old mills. Skaye park as well so things for all ages.

Great place right next to downtown, I enjoyed beautiful fall colours. If youre in area, Ive heard summer time they got musical events.

Lots of fun for my 3 yr old. Swings, slides, rope climb, music stuff. Right next to the river, so nice view for parents. Big open grass area next to the play area, great for running around or just walk. Really hope the city keeps improving it, lovely little space in downtown

My kids love going here. They have done a great job with this park and it seems that they just keep on improving (like adding more shade).

Loved the new kids play area could have used more swings. The Gundalow is a cool feature. Great place to spend a few hours with the kiddos. Also a neat cooling fountain to play in.

Convinient location in downtown Dover. Kids playground, lots of green space next to the river. Childrens museum, indoor swimming pool and outdoor amphitheater which hosts concerts or events throughout the summer. Paid parking during the week.

Henry Law Park is in the center of Dover. They offer a farmers market on Sundays. A beautiful functional water park for the kids and adults alike with sprinklers that shoot out from the ground, one of the original gondolas, some unique playground features. Henry Law Park also has picnic areas in a nice brick walkway by the Cocheco River. Henry Law Park also offers in entertainment venue complete with stage and Lighting.

I love the farmers market out here in the summer! Its always such a treat. In May there isnt a lot of produce but jam, bread, and meat all the same. Very excited to continue going in the summer!

The childrens museum is perfect for kids 3 to 9 years. In the summer, theres a large play ground outside in addition to the internal displays.

New playground is amazing! The best For Free fun around. Splash pad is the best way to cool off! Bring a towel too hard to resist.

I live in Dover NH and love to walk through Henry Law Park, down by the water. The laughter of the children playing on the playground somehow relaxes me. The Summer months have free entertainment in the auditorium which brings happiness to many people. I love Henry Law Park!

Nice place and the staff are great but parking is not good.

Rebuilt! Lots of new, child friendly, engaging activities built into this new layout...a splash pad, miniature climbable of Garrison tower, a rope area w/spiderweb designed thing and hammock, sand to play in, water pumps for the kids to exhaust themselves with, slides if course, musical instruments to bang on, lots of benches and a few picnic tables- one is a very large octagon. This will be out summer go to.

Attended the Farmers Market Sunday and listened to some great live music(solo act). There is also an unbelievable playground for the kids outside the Dover Indoor Pool and The Childrens Museum NH. It makes for a great family destination.

Farmers market today and each Sunday 10-2. Music in this lovely park with a band shell each summer with the cocheco festival. Indoor pool and childrens museum right there.

Great little place in downtown Dover to bring the kids to play. There is a splash pad so bring a suit or change of clothes on hot days. Also be careful of the ice cream truck he pops out of no where. Lol

Great place for a walk. Its close enough to downtown and open enough that there arent any dangerous spots, at least during the day. The playground looks like a lot of fun too, but sadly I am too big to have tried it out.

Cant really go wrong here. Swings, slides, ropes, and a giant sandbox. They also have sprinklers and percussion instruments! Plenty of parking all around the park! Right next to the Childrens museum as well! Love this place!

Such an amazing kids playground! It has everything your little one can enjoy from slides, splash pad, swings, sandbox, and even has a place for making music!

Lots of different station for kids from an rope course to a climbing tower, musical instruments, and even a mini splash pad, .... And more.

Would have givin this place 5 stars but they took out the only shade that was available. Having 4 kids with 1 being 6 months old, shade is important.

Variety of things to do for variety of ages. My boys love the splash pad in the summer. There are multiple porta-potties just outside the playground area. Theres also a water station that has a bubbler and a spot to fill water bottles!

In my opinion at least for me Henry Law Park is one of the best parks in the Dover area they have adequate picnic tables a great field to do sports activities and like I said they have a wonderful brand new playground if you have children I would highly suggest this area of Henry Law Park if you have children and you are looking for swing sets slides they have it all right now the water is shut off do the winter time but in the summer they have running water in the children seem to have a blast they have a little mini Garrison Tower for the children The Climb several ropes and swings and musical instruments that are outside its a wonderful brand new park where you can bring your kids to run wild and just be a kid and have fun for the day

Lovely riverside park with a walk, a gazebo, grassy area, benches. Used by the locals and for many fun events. Also next door to the public pool, the Childrens Museum, and an amazing new playground. Across the street from historic mill building.

Love this park. Perfect location, great space and playground offered. Love the updates but sad that weve resorted to parking meters at a public childrens playground. I would however still recommend bringing your children here. They have a variety of cool interactive structures here and even stuff that can incorporate play with parents. Always super clean and they tend to throw a lot of nice events in this area.

Nice variety of play options for almost any kid to have a good time. Splash park is nice on a hot day. Parking adjacent to the park is free on weekends and holidays.Prk features: tall tower for climbing, musical instruments, ropes course, swings (including a toddler/infant swing an adult can ride with the child and the disk swings, water fountains to run through, water pumps to play with, slides, a large replica boat to play on, a huge sand box with a concrete fish to climb on and plenty of seating for adults.Kids had a good time. We will go back.

If you have children great place to bring them to play. Plus the childrens museum is a stones throw away as well as the indoor pool.
