I am so glad that I found this place! I first visited The Art Center on a Dover Art Walk evening, and I was impressed by the welcoming and lively environment here, and the quality of the artwork on display — a great variety including paintings, prints, sculptures, jewelry and ceramics — realistic and abstract works, traditional pieces and also conceptual thought-provoking works. I immediately thought, I have to be part of this place! I signed up for a membership then, I’m now involved in their Artist in Residency program, and I’m excited to rent a studio within this talented community starting this spring! Rebecca Proctor has created a very special space here— a place to learn, to create, and to network with artists. With rotating monthly exhibitions, artist studio spaces, and educational opportunities (including a new printmaking studio in the works), The Art Center is a valuable asset to the NH Seacoast. I encourage everyone to visit and become involved!

The Art Center is Dovers premier gallery for all types of art, and the hub of activity for many of the artists in the area.With a new exhibit monthy, with about fifteen resident artists, and dozens of members, educational programs, and with people always willing to help, this is the place to visit if you want to see, learn about, or purchase art.

This space is amazing. I loved seeing the business community join together to celebrate this grand opening and ribbon cutting. So many creative and talented artists. The gift shop is great, a wonderful spot to find a special gift for yourself or for someone else. I cant wait to learn more about upcoming workshops.

Love the place. People are crazy fun artists with plenty of talent to create beautiful works.
