Gorgeous barn and activity buildings surrounded by well-kept natural grounds. I was there for the quilt show, which was beautifully displayed in the barn. It looked magical lit up at night and I could just picture a fairy tale wedding here.

I had a great time at landmark Park today. The park was mostly clean and I would say mostly kept up. There was some damage to the wooden walking trail that needs to be repaired but it was clearly marked so I felt safe going across. A lot of the exhibits and live snakes they had on the wooden walking trail were no longer there and I dont know if that is because of the covid situation or not, however I think they have two displays that are just stuffed animals so I cant imagine why those were taken out because of the covid. Instead they just have lame posters up. The general store was really fun and I think that was very well kept up and I took a few photos inside. I think this is well worth the admission and there is an agricultural museum and next to it is a beekeeping area. Its really neat to see the bees and they have this little area you can drive through past the bees where there are several beehives, however I would not recommend getting out of your car because it is just for driving by.

We love Landmark park. What they attempt to do for the wiregrass is incredible. The educational programs, preservation of history, and events they organize are just perfect. We hope to continue supporting this gem for years to come!!

We enjoyed going to landmark park for the fish show. we went on the nature trail. We enjoyed the walk, but it would have been great if the displays were cleaned and updated. There were no animals in the aquariums and the displays were mostly broken down and dirty. The staff was super friendly.

Loved this quiet, exquisit, 1historic spot. Private property no trust passing sign was off putting as I wanted to be respectful. The wish to read the memorial post won over. The memorial to the Laura Engels-Wilder home, that no longer was there, was so very well written. To be respectful we left immediately.

We saw many familys having picnics, because this is such a great place for family time! Also a great way to get the kids out and informed! There was so much to do! They even have long nature trails and even have a trail that is a board walk! Also a planetarium that was very informative! Even have a bee keeping presentation!

Walk back in time at Landmark Park. The historic buildings are many and noteworthy. There is even an old time General Store where you can purchase ice cream. Ask historic interpreters for detailed information. Also, plan your visit about special events that frequently are held here, like the Seminole Indian War attack against U.S. forces under Gen. Andrew Jackson.

Its American history. My daughter is wheelchair bound so its hard to find things to do that are wheelchair accessible. However, I didnt give 5 stars because I would like to see the gravel road going around the gazebo paved. People just dont realize how hard it is to push a 120lb person in a chair on wheels thru sands, gravel, and rocks. Not to mention how it must feel to be the person being pushed thru that. Its gotta feel jarring to my poor baby. But otherwise we LOVE Landmark Park!

It was wonderful. We carried the kids to the planetarium. The staff were very helpful and told us all about the shows and other things going on in the future. The kids loved the playground, but the equipment is in a slight state state of disrepair. The nature trail was fun. We were able to see fish and turtles on the tail. Also, in the welcome center there were a few snakes and turtles to look at. The staff told us the animals names and lots of information about them. There is an old general store where you can buy ice cream and soda, an old school house, a small church, and many other period buildings to enjoy. Overall, we all enjoyed our visit. We are members there so, we will surely be back throughout the year.

The nature trail was nice and the boards have been replaced and kept up. The building were still in good shape but the playground was a little bare. The slide was hot to the touch so my little one didnt go down it as she had shorts on. There was supposed to be an event going on but there wasnt anything we could see the entire time we were there? We will probably go back when she gets a little older.

I grew up visiting the livestock, planetarium and boardwalk of Landmark Park. In the past few years theyve also opened a general store selling some nice products as well as milkshakes and malts. I know they also have events around holidays, and astronomy nights, which are probably listed on their website. Its changed over the years but its still one of my favorite places to go enjoy the outdoors.

Review №75

Very pretty! Nice and quiet when I went there. There were almost no people! The only bad thing is that for the nature park, they have way too many dead and stuffed animals. Their gift shop is practically filled with them :(. Theres even a selfie station where you can SELFIE with the dead animals. Not only this, but instead of just leaving the animals wild, they have a bunch of caged creatures such as turtles and snakes. Im okay if the animals on display were captured in the wild and then released, but I personally believe that these animals belong in their natural habitat :/.

Its just a nice relaxing place to take your kids to enjoy the outdoors. My 2 boys really loved the board walk through the woods and all of the nature trails along with it. Landmark Park is an outstanding facility and will take you back to times when life was simpler and less hectic. It also has educational facilities for all ages and hosts good programs for adults and children. My last outing to Landmark Park was the Spring Day which was outstanding. I love seeing the mules and horses plowing the fields. It hosts special events and activities for all ages. Touch A Truck is May 5, from 10 am to 1 pm. It is a 135 acre facility dedicated to preserving the cultural and natural heritage of the Wiregrass. 1890s homestead sits on the property, which includes crops, buildings, and animals typical of the period. Many other buildings and things to see. Go and you will enjoy and be pleasantly surprised.

Great place to spend the entire day exploring. Lots of things to do and see. The playground, farm, and animals are loads of fun. It was both exciting and peaceful on the nature trails and in the wildlife areas. My only complaint would be the early closing time of 5pm. Especially during the time of year when its daylight until after 7pm.

The petting zoo was a little disappointing as the care for the animals was lacking but the mules used for plowing were well taken care of and allowed to rest. The ponies for pony rides looked very tired. The Scottish cows hair was very matted. All in all it was a great learning experience.
