Victoria Palms RV Resort

I’m a little late in writing this review. We stayed here about a month or so ago. This place is very old. The pads are dirty and uneven. Most amenities are not available. Website does not indicate limited amenities. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I absolutely love this place. The folks that run the resort are on the Top of their game! Spotless and SAFE! Very economical also. Everything is new or looks like it is. First class amenities, pool, weight room, restaurant, golf cart for rent.Gated community with security guards. They patrol all night in golf carts. So many floor plans and a motel/hotel. I came here for Dental work across the border in progreso Mexico. What a blessing to have this available for us. I am so greatfull. Sometimes things just actually work out.!!

Looks great. I wouldnt mind staying there but when I went there were all booked.

Ugh! This place is a dump and that’s being nice.

Family had great stay here. Residents are very friendly. So clean. Many, many things to do within the resort. Also at a great location, off expressway yet so quiet. Great atmosphere.

Old and outdated. Management not accommodating.

Rooms are old carpet is dirty for the save price you can stay at comfort inn & suites

We stayed here for 2.5 months. In the beginning when trying to make a reservation the staff at the front office are very rude and not customer friendly. I would give a zero star for this area in this park. Old park and needs a lot of work. In this area durning the winter they burn sugar cane fields and it blows everywhere. Not good if you have lung issues. The park got shut down from Covid-19. The park has lots to do and has a very nice workout facility. Easy to get around in a bike. Great mail service in park. Farmers market once a week. Way to many Canadians in the park. Lots of park models. There is a restaurant on property. WallMart is only about 3 miles down the road. Good location as you can go to Mexico in about 20 mins from the park. We will not go back due to the office staff, the wind blowing all the time and the park being so old. We will find a new location to spend our winters.

Went for fish fry...4 different choices! Very fast service, fish was fresh and hot! The only reason I didnt give five stars is it wasnt catfish.

Love this place to stay, will go back againExcept for their cafeteria, not enough waiters and cooks that day.

As a long time resident we are very upset that there has been virtually no internet for the past month, a sporadic day now and then. After submitting work requests the standard answer is that there is a new system available by the end of January, makes it very hard or impossible to communicate with children and grandchildren, pretty hard read impossible, to conduct business on open links.The park is not as clean as years past, the laundry rooms are filthy

This is a beautiful 55 and over resort with so many different activities that you couldnt possibly do all of them.

We started coming down to Southern Texas 3 years ago. Just by chance we booked for 2 weeks and ended up staying over a month. Last year, we booked for 3 months and added 2 weeks. This year, we again, are staying 3 and a 1/2 months. The staff, from the front office, the park manager Terry, and everyone in between, are wonderful. Activities are so abundant, never at a lost of things to do. They also offer great entertainment shows. The restaurant, is the best kept secret in the Valley, with lots of specials, one of the best Friday night Fish Fry in all of Texas made by an absolutely great chef Marcus and also have to mention the awesome omelets, and waffles that chef Dave makes to your order. Everyone in the park are so friendly, a lot have become like family. Also, there are plenty of places to see outside of the park. We look forward to spending many more Winters at Victoria Palms

Love going to public restaurant there. Have excellent breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. Has all the traditional items plus bisquits and gravy, fresh fruit, plus omlet bar to die for. Have waffles with all the special toppings. Price is reasonable

Yummy fish. Busy but kept everyone going thru without running out of food or waiting too long in line.

Towels need to be replaced. There to ruff. Also grounds keeper rude. Homeless people knocking on our door asking for $.

Go to Sunday Brunch, best in the Valley hands down!

This place is outdated most definitely BUT it’s cozy. I’ve stayed in the suites and they’re perfect. A little kitchen with dishes, utensils, cooking pots and pans, dish soap & sponge and a dining area, cozy little living room, a very good sized walk in closet. It’s basically a little apartment+ Quiet+ Gated security+ On site laundry (quarters)

Everything you need to enjoy the winter months is available here. If you are bored while staying here its because you are a boring person.

Very nice retirement resort. 55+ place to visit. Everyone is very friendly and lots of activities for all interest in doing activities.

Its a great place to live. If you are bored it would be your own fault. Plenty to do, great neighbors. The best 55 plus retirement community to live in. And if you are a winter Texan a great place to stay during the winter. Fun Times All THE Time

These place was soo beautiful. But very hot. It was 109 degrees but it fell like 121 heat index. Hotter than CC tx.

The buffet on Sunday is so good!Friday fish fry is so much more than fried fish!Open Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Saturday and Sunday for breakfast and lunch!

This is the Best Place to Stay!!!Everything was First Class.Everyone from booking the room to discounts and clean ROOMS!!!I WILL BE BACK IN 6 WEEKS with several people. So close to Nuevo ProgressoGreat shopping, ARTUROS AND GREAT MARGARITAS!! LIVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

Too much too list and too many reasons to like this place! If youre looking for a place to spend your Winter take a hard look at Victoria Palms. Social activities just like many other Resorts but add in an on site quality restaurant, private social club for residents (Cactus Club) Free ice and water dispenser 24/7 and lots of good people who want to enjoy life!

Oh so much more than a campground. Lots of entertainment and activities.

Love this Park. Second year weve come here. Very clean, wonderful people running it, great activities and very friendly people. Feel safe and secure. Even has a great Restaurant. Diffiantly I give it a five star!

Quiet, peaceful a good place to stay n relax.

This is one of the nicest parks. The park is very large. Staff is very nice and professional. While checking in they had donuts and cookies (always cookies not sure donuts). The public buildings and surrounding outside areas are well maintained even the private homes. There is so much to do here during the winter season and it is close to everything. They have a restaurant that serves all 3 meals daily. Entertainment almost nightly at 2 locations Cactus Club and the Ballroom. The only downfall we found in this park was the 3 jaguzzi(s). You would think one jaguzzi would be hot but none of them were. One jaguzzi was cold and 2 were just barely warm. Other then that you will love this park.

Nice park. Lots of Palm trees; friendly people; wide streets; plenty of room for bigger units. A bit pricier than most other parks. The electricity bill was quite high as well compared to the other parks in the valley. Problems with the free wifi cutting out all the time.

Wow, what to say about the Sunday brunches over there. The cook is marvelous and funny, the food is the best. Check out the omelettes and the waffles. Minam !!! Worth the drive there...

Third year to visit here in the winter. Love the facility and activities.Now, after five winters, I have to lower my rating. The facilities are still well maintained and there are many activities but... the office can no longer be trusted. In the past they have had a customer focus, but this year they moved us from a site that we have had for the last two years, and which we booked for three months for next year, to a site that is in a different area of the park, away from our friends. They did this without telling us. We only learned about it from someone who was trying to book a site close to us. When we called to get them to put us back on our regular site we were told someone had wanted it for five months so they moved us. We had already paid a deposit on our site and had a written confirmation. I am so disappointed that they have quit being customer focused, and started being greedy.

Clean and well kept. Lots of things to do. Lots of social activities. Everyone we met was very nice. One of the nicest RV parks weve stayed at. Free WiFi that works better than most other parks that you have to pay for. Free cable TV with a good selection of channels. Onsite restaurant. Many/most sites are paved. Streets are paved.

Nice rooms, great pool, convenient. Bring your own water to make coffee, tap water sucks.

It is a very clean park with an excellent staff. It has a lot to offer things to do in the park for entertainment. Interested in a place in this park.

Nice resort we attended a luncheon with about 300 other people. The food was good for the number they had to feed in a short period.

Well maintained, well managed park. Cant recommend it more highly; stop by the annual open house in February and see for yourself.

Heated pools, fantastic hot tubs, live entertainment, great staff, great weather. Everything to do that you might even think about.

Room clean, breakfast excellent, also restraunt available with good food. Reasonable rate.
