Love everything about this park. Beautiful landscape, great playground for the children. Wide open spaces. Picnic tables and spots to just come and enjoy the greenery.
Its small and nobody bothers you . You can walk your dog if you have one . They have a fishing peir and you can launch a kayak.tables so you can enjoy meal in the sun . Or simply sit in your vehicle and listen to music. I cant say enough about the walking bridge to the other side of the bayou . Its a nice park . My wife and I take our furry family member there every time we get a chance .thanks for reading . Stay safe and enjoy yourselves .
Cute little unknown park with lots to walk around and see and small kids to play with. Love the wildlife around the water. Glad we found it!
Really Cute and very quite park where most locals like to walk early in the morning. The trees help keep it from getting to hot and such a pretty site to walk around in till you get to the trail head and look over into the water and look down and see something so sad. It really is heartbreaking. Something needs to be done about all of this trash even if its dangerous to do. There has to be something that can be done.
This is a nice park! My kids enjoyed playing here. Its pretty clean and id definitely bring them back if Im ever back in the area.
The new bridge is so AWESOME! My kids and I love it and cant wait for the festival of lights!!! Yay!
Pretty, relaxing, fishing. Tables for picnicing. Sidewalks?? Fun at christmas if light show is up!
Your basic park like when you were a kid plenty of play area for frisbee family gatherings or just a little fishing
Great little park. A lot of people were fishing. I was there for a photoshoot and there were some great spots for this.
Very Serene and Clean park on Dickinson Bayou.
Plenty of shade, park was clean....but its still hot....after all it is summer in Texas.
We come to the light show every year. This year was the best display of lights yet. Also, the snack shack had more options this year. If you are looking for a nice tradition to add to your family, I highly recommend putting this festival of lights on your list of things to do this season...and all those to come.
New bridge. New play set kids loved it
It was a nice day and there is a cool little path off the fishing pier. Not too busy either.
Clean up stone path is my only gripe. Boats fly through area 90% of the time.
Awesome place. Mosquitos are bad right now.
Huge park with lots of places for the kids to play and run.
Its a nice park but they need restrooms
Beautiful scenic park with some of the nicest people in Houston. Always clean and well maintained. Bridge recently restored.
Very nice, great weather to go to the park
Is this fresh or saltwater what kind of fish can I expect to catch so I know what bait to use
Beautiful and its wonderful to spend time with family just enjoying Nature and Fishing
Sweet little park with wonderful shade throughout; next to the bayou (no barrier between the bank & water, so watch your children); lots of playground equipment (applicable to small & older kids); bridge over bayou newly re-done (wheelchair accessible & safe for kids); peer for fishing.
Great place to spend some time
Ive only been to this park at Christmas for the lights. Beautiful display. Done by volunteers (from what Ive been told).Free to goFree bus from the boot barn parking lotVisit Santa $Buy snacksCocoa $Playground
Sad that the Festival of Lights wont be held this year, but Nick Natario covered the reasons well in his piece on ABC13. A great place for community gathering and one that holds a special place in many hearts. Cant wait for the festival next year when things are more back in order.
Nice family park. Sadly many leave their garbage on the ground versus in containers.
Great park and very clean
Park was clean and seems like the city is in the process of updating its parks. Pavilions over the water need some TLC
Small park but peaceful
We go every year and we always have the best time!
Love this park! Ive been going for probably 13 years and now I can take my daughter. So sad theyre tearing the wooden bridge down ️
Nice little park, though the bridge across the bayou being closed currently is inconvenient and essentially splits the park into two separate parks. Make sure to visit one evening around Christmas time to see their awesome Christmas lights display!
Nice community park. Good place for family.
Love this park, good fishing
Dickinson Festival of Lights is very well organized. Catching the bus at the Boot Barn parking lot was quick and easy with continual buses.Plenty of room to support lots of visitors at the same time. Playground is also a good size to support lots of kids.
Beautiful relaxing park.
Cool to see
Excellent and creative and beautiful Park
Peaceful.
Good little spot for a break from the city.
Conforting...relaxing...meadow...to take a break...!!!
Very beautiful park!!! Great place to take the kids. They can play at the park, fish and parents can bring a picnic and the bayou runs threw the middle of it with a beautiful Bridge!! Around Christmas time they also have a festival of lights!! So worth going at least once. Free to get in. Donations are excepted. Pictures with santa, Hot coco for a dollar and kids can decorate a Christmas cookie for ONLY a dollar too!!
Really small park, but honestly my favorite. They are doing work on the bridge so the park is split at the moment..
Good place for kids to swing and slide!
Kayak launch is easy to reach from parking area on West bank. Interpretive trail. Covered picnic tables and mowed grassy area.
Very peaceful there
Huge. Beautiful place to enjoy nature.
Very nice
It is a small, but scenic park. There is a lot of nature packed into this area.
Its nice place to relax
It was beautiful at Christmas i go to the park there with the grandkids. But keep watch of the children grown men known to frequent their.
Cant wait until they fix the bridge
Love this place, not alot of people, fishing is allowed, and they picknick tables.
Need real restrooms back. Nice park.
Peaceful
Nice park, miss the bridge.
The playground is awesome. The festival of lights is awesome. There are no restrooms, the grass need cut more and the parking stinks.
Favorite place to blow off steam.
This is a nice little park on Dickinson Bayou. There are paved walk ways along with a bridge connecting the two parts of the park. There is also a nice board walk along with wood structures going out over a wet land. I gave the four star rating instead of a five due to dog poo along the walkways.
Great little park for the kids
Favorite park
Love this park, love the Festival of Lights. Excellent playground for the kids. Good place to relax and eat your lunch.
Awsome Christmas light display
Looked smaller then previous years but always fun to go to!
Is clean took my great grandkids there
Love the festival of lights! My kids always enjoy it!!
Small park with a lake. Very natural, plants flourish the lake. Lots of shade trees. Grass is well kept. Just got a good peaceful feeling.
First time doing the festival of lights. Kudos to the city of Dickinson for hosting such a safe and great family environment.
It is ok because it is just like a regular park
Super cute and lots of family fun
Had some good times there
This is a great park in the daytime. A nice little playground, good amount of parking, and a good location. Sometimes you can even see alligators. I wouldnt come in the dark except when the lights are up around Christmas. The location has had some bad history with creepy people hanging out.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the festival of lights.
Nice and tidy park for an afternoon picnic on the bayou.
The lights were fantastic! Great family fun!
Great park good fishing access lots of catfish bass and the occasional redfish will show good for the kids to play at and places to sit for lunch
Nice place, clean not to many people were there
Great place to take family
Peaceful.
Very peaceful Park . Besides the informational aspects, it has a no place like home feel
Great passive park
Love the Christmas here
We had a great little walk.
Eh pretty cool.
Beautiful scenery and trails
Need to fox the bridge to go over the water
Rest rooms closed and portacan awful.
It gets really muddy in everywhere, including the playground area. But over all it is a beautiful park.
Not much to say its a park on thw bayou
Christmas lights the were great. Kids enjoyed.
Love this park my son and i can go play on the playground while dad goes fishing
