This will be my second time here. The staff was excellent and was able to find us a spot. Is on a bayou all concrete drives and sites level. Is off the beaten path but close to everything that I wanted to do while here.

I’ve only been fulltiming for 5 months and have only experienced 20 or so parks. But this one was my favorite. Stayed a week Feb ‘18. The sites are huge with so much room, and the grounds and bathrooms are perfectly clean. But what I really enjoyed was how friendly the staff and long term residents were, and the view/feel of South Texas right from your window. Hope to be back for next year’s kiting season.

The rv pad is very spacious and the parakeets are a joy to watch. We saw beautiful sunsets and the doggies loved all the places to walk. People are very friendly.

Nice facilities and a quiet place although if you leave a phone on your car and it falls off apparently some guests will pick it up and take it with them instead of turning it in

Very pretty place, and great for bird watchers, walk In pool was nice. The only thing we didnt not like here (and the reason we will never go back) is the spiders. Trailer was covered in them, and the last night there we saw huge black ones come out that night, if we had seen them the first night we would have packed up and left then. Weve been to many other parks and have never had this problem

Stayed here for a couple of months. Easiest terms of business, great space in between lots/RVs. Restrooms could be cleaned more frequently on site, but the showers are updated.Valerie, the office manager is really nice. Pets are allowed but be aware of picking up after your dog. Only complaints is the laundry mat onsite seems to have very few machines that actually work and you’ll spend about $4 for washing and drying

We love this place. The owner/manager is the nicest person you’ll ever meet. The roads are easy to navigate, and the sites are concrete, level and huge – room enough for the longest rig and two vehicles. Good power and water, logically located. Cable TV on site and plenty of over-the-air channels too. The pool looked very nice and well maintained, but it never got warm enough to check it out.

Not really a resort. Doesnt have the amenities you would expect.

We stopped by to visit a friend. It was a little bit off the road but it was on the bay so it was worth the drive. Very large cement slabs. Very spacious from your neighbors and family friendly when it comes to watching your family play outside. They had a nice bathroom and swimming pool. If we ever go work in this area we will definitely look them up. I dont have all the amenities but the price was reasonable for the location. Plus room for 2 vehicles and a boat. Cant beat that!

We stayed there for 3 months to work a travel job and were fortunate to find this gem. It is surrounded by water via bayous and ponds. The sites are spacious, it is pet friendly and the wildlife is so fun to watch. The owner, Val, and staff are so friendly and offer opportunities to interact such as pilates, biking and walking as a group. This is appreciated when you stay for a time. We wish we could have stayed longer but are hoping to return soon!

This is the best park we have ever stayed at! We travel for work and have stayed at several parks all over and this is by far the best park we have ever stayed. The laundry room is big and very clean so are the restrooms, the pool is wonderful, it is very peaceful to sit outside and watch all the wildlife. The owner Valarie, is wonderful!! She takes excellent care of this park and cares about all her RV’ers. I would highly recommend this park!!!

We have been here at the park for 18 months and have had a awesome time. Valerie is a great lady that helps you in any way that she can . We have loved staying here. The pool and pavilion is always clean. Love watching the ducks and doves and parrots. Dogs are welcomed here and has great sites !! Will definitely be back!!

Great place to stay!

Beautiful facility on the bay with great views, all concrete sites, attractive landscaping, a pool and duck ponds!!! There are also impeccably clean laundry and bathroom areas. The manager/owner, Valerie, is kind and efficient and has a beautiful dog!! This is a excellent place to stay if you are in the area.

We have been at this park 18 months. It has been our favorite place! Comfortable and clean. Valerie is very friendly and on top of everything! Nice pool. Very nice showers and bathrooms. Clean laundry room. Pet friendly!

Beautiful, peaceful park. Largest sites we have ever enjoyed. Friendly people, plenty of wildlife. Valerie, the owner, is the key that makes this park more than just an RV park...she makes you feel at home.

Love the atmosphere clean quiet

Very nice setting and landscape. The yard wasnt taken care of in the best manner at times and there was a couple of their policies that were different but enjoyed our stay here for a while! P.S. The sunsets were unreal!!!

Have stayed here a number of times. We love the size of their sites can park two or three cars in there plus our 45-foot motorhome with a tow dolly. Valerie and her English Mastiff Zeus are excellent to work with.

Valarie is a wonderful host. You will love this place.

I just want to say that the time we spent there was one of the best times of our lives....it was home to us for 2 years! The owner valorie is the sweetest most awesome person...we have moved to Port Aransas now but there isnt a day go by that I dont think of home....and I miss valorie very much....you wont find a better place to fish....or a better place to vacation anywhere in Texas....I HIGHLY recommend spending some time at the Marquee......

Top of the line RV Park, huge spaces and great views. Opened in early 2016. Small pool, laundry room and showers. Office building is elevated and party space is available below it. One drink vending machine by the pool. Friendly staff. All concrete drives and spaces.

I currently live in this park & have been here almost a year. Cleanest park Ive ever been in. They treat everyone like family here. I wouldnt stay anywhere else I promise u that. Laundry on site, clean showers and bathrooms if u dont wanna use ur rvs. Close to malls and shopping. I highly recommend anyone stay here. Also very clean and maintained pool on site. Call ask for Valerie shes a sweetheart!

My family and I came down to the most beautiful hidden place i have ever seen in all my travels around Texas . The host of the park was so helpful in getting us lined up on the things to do in the area we ended up staying a few more days to enjoy the sites .The Rv pads are the biggest I have ever seen and the restroom are top notch.

Been staying here for a year and love it. Dont think I want to stay anywhere else. Never have had any of my outdoor stuff messed with. The owner is very easy to do business with.she keeps an eye on everything.peaple driving through must have have a reason or she will stop them for a reason. I am a single person and have neven had any problems. Let me said it again.i love it here. Best place for your money.

What a shame, we were so excited to stay here after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures. I was so looking forward to our summer at this RV park. I called and the informed me that they dont take kids over the age of 5, because of insurance purposes. I have to teens ages 14 and 17. I guess Ill just have to keep looking for something else. Well this is the 1st and we have been rv-ing for 10 years.

Very nice and quiet place

We were robbed on this campground! After we told the owner Valerie about it all she said was that she warned us about things being stolen here. She was very rude! If we knew about the robberies here we would have never stayed here! Valerie also tried to overcharge us for electricity, but I kept track of our electricity meter. Take photos of your electricity meters, but its better not to stay here! There are plenty of better and cheaper campgrounds!

HUGE sites right on the water. Nice pool! Parrots fly right by your camper. If you have feeders near you, they stop.

Large RV sites, beautiful bayou views and a plethora of water fowl to see! Great community atmosphere for the full time RVers ... beach entry pool, and gathering place at the pavilion for entertainment and community events... Large beautiful bathrooms with huge showers and a large laundry room... Vending machine poolside, fishing access in the ponds and bayou. Pet friendly community! Have stayed here over a year in a fifth wheel. ValerieAnn is onsite 6 days a week, and can be readily reached by phone anytime, excellent customer.er service!!

This is our first experience staying long term in an rv park.I was relocated with my job, and still not sure if we wanted to buy a house so quick, so the logical answer for us was to stay a while in our rv. Picking an rv park though proved not to be as easy as we thought. While I was at work, my wife was in our hotel room calling as many rv sites as she could, and when I was off work, we would visit the rv parks that she thought may have potential.. not one site looked safe for my wife to stay in alone while I was away.We were becoming discouraged, when I found Marquee on the bays website.My wife and I visited Marquee that evening, not wanting to expect too much, but hoping this was the one. Then we met the owner Valerie..She was very gracious, kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating.. she told us all about her park, and spent a great deal of time answering our numerous questions...Its now been 6 months, and we never planned on staying this long, because not only did we find a wonderful place to stay, we found lifelong friends and a community that is worth staying for.. I could tell you all about the amenities, and the very large sites, but Ill leave that to the other reviewers..This is the first review I have ever written.. Ive never held much stock in them, knowing that others opinions arent always an accurate assessment. But when you have such a positive experience in a public place you have to let others know! Please come and enjoy Marquee on the Bay!!

We currently live here and love it we plan on staying forever

Currently staying here. Beautiful new Resort with large sites, both back-in and pull throughs, 30/50 amp service, Wifi, cable TV, large, clean laundry and restrooms. The pool has been recently installed and will be open very soon. It is close to grocery stores, restaurants and the attractions of Kemah and Galveston. The resort caters to adult, retired, longterm guests, but welcomes weekend visitors. The area has excellent boating, fishing or birding opportunities. Golf carts welcome.

Clean, mostly permanent living there.

Anywhere else is recommended over this poorly managed, unsafe property. One star for birdwatchers.
