Diamond Bar Golf Course

First time playing course. The playing surface of the course not in very good condition, which I dont know is a result of the staff or the weather. There is some construction going on at the third tee box area. Our foursome had a good time and enjoyed themselves.

My son had fun.The course was ok, the rough was RUFF, the greens were great, but the range was terrible. The starter was great and the inside team was good and accommodating.

Courses in good shape greens are perfect perfect fast pace of play highly recommended

The manager of the pro shop was impatient, rude and not motivated. He turned off the golf balls vending machine unless there were at least 3 open slots on the driving range. What a dumb and absolutely unnecessary rule especially when the distance between two hitting mats in the driving range had been spaced for more than 10 feet for social distancing. To making worse, the manager was plain lazy to check when he was told about the number of slots became available . We ended up teeing off without hitting any golf balls! The overall experience in the pro shop was very unpleasant.

Typical muni course layout. Very crowded for prime time golf. Horrible tee time management. No starter. People just went straight to the first tee even though they are scheduled at much later tee times.

Nice public track. Good greens on the day I visited. BEAUTIFUL young lady working in the grill that will bring me back more than the golf

This is challenging course for public course. I spread my driver all over the place so this is perfect course for me. The price is reasonable and they keep the green and fairway in good condition as well.

Range balls were OK, no Tees provided on the mats?Range has never been updated since I moved here 15 years ago. All dirt, bad targets, and very high prices equals no value. And now the practice greens are closed, cmon this place is always busy and makes money but never puts any back in the course even if it is city course.

Rough shape. Greens are very bumpy so putting is a joke. If deafening noise from the 60 fwy is your thing then this is your course.And $50 ...give me a break!

A round of golf on a sunday took 5hrs and change..It took a bit less time than I was expecting, but nevertheless was really backed up. We pretty much had to wait on every hole. Course was in a mediocre shape. Tee boxes were the worst - lots of unfixed divots.Worst of all, this course is adjacent to the 60 Fwy and is extremely noisy. Enough noise where you cant hear one another.

4hours pace on a mid-day Sunday golfing at a County course is excellent. Too bad the greens were extremely slow. I cant blame them due to the 3-4 days of rain we just got.Ill be back~

For as much play as this course gets they keep it in good shape. Greens are well maintained. Driving range is off mats but they do have lots of targets. Staff are very friendly. We can finish in under 5 hours!

Ive been to Diamond Bar Golf course numerous of times for school banquets and/or private parties. I love the new look and change that theyve done with the banquet room, but unfortunately am giving it 3 *stars* today because of an error done for the banquet that I attended. The banquet event that was reserved for today was at 1pm, last minute we were told that the venue over booked and our event was changed to 6pm, and that our dinner/meal would be upgraded at no extra charge. I thought..wow, but cool. The dinner was not upgraded and when a few parents asked for more garlic bread, they were told (kind of rude) by an server that we would not be getting more garlic bread and that they had no clue of the upgraded meal that we were told we would get due to the venue error of over booking

Awesome golf course . Greens can be tough. Tee off before the sun comes up and by glow in the dark golf balls. Super cool !!! Try it for yourself but the course gets busy . Get there super early

Not bad

Dont look behind the curtains. The dust, dirt and trash will make you not want to eat. The restrooms need some work and they need to figure out where the sewer smell is coming from. And the hall itself, while it has great potential, wreaked!! The definitely have a water leak of some sort, somewhere. It was very strong and overpowering.The food was decent and plentiful. I was full. But the rest of the venue really made it unpleasant.

Nice course, different from the others around, enjoy going here.

Pace of play was horrible cant believe they let 5 sums play on the weekend I dont recommend playing here unless you have 6 hours to waste they need Marshalls to keep the pace of play

Busy, busy, busy. Lunch deal is between 10 - 3 only. Get your cheeseburger at the turn.

Love the course.

I was shocked by the starter who yelled and threatening me to forfeit my tee time. He was mad at me just asking a cart key twice. It was just after 12:00 PM on March 25. I was checked earlier. He told me he would give me a key 15 minutes before my tee time. So I asked the key 15 minutes before my tee time, but he refused and told me he would give it little later.So I waited and asked the key again - politely - 8 minutes before my tee time. He was mad and threatened at the moment. I don`t understand why this guy was so upset and threatened me. I am a regular of Diamond Bar Golf Course and a Player`s Club member also. He is a senior staff of the course.

One of favorite golf courses but they need to work on tee box.

Not to bad of a place. Been here a few times and last one was annoying because hard to park closer because they have parties at the clubhouse all the time.

This place isn’t fancy but it’s easy to get in and out of, it never seems to be crowded and it’s a pretty view. I also attended a wake there and they did a great job. Professional and personable service.

5:12am tee time, get to the back nine and 3 different groups of walkers!!!!! Slow walkers!!!!!! There aren’t enough coarse’s in L.A county for all us golfers!!! DONT ALLOW WALKERS!!!! Will never play here again pace way too slow. You have been warned!

So many driving ranges for practicing. And lots of Asian people like playing here. Course in good condition, it is worthy you play with your friends. Weekend are overcrowded, you can hardly find a place to stop your car.

Very nice staff, especially Riley and no waiting during the play, love the flow.

Great golf course. Had an early tee time and they had everything waiting and ready to go so that my foursome could get out on the course and golf. The club house restaurant is well staffed with friendly waitstaff and reasonably priced food.

A Good Hole too Play at

My childrens elementary school had a Spring Dance there tonight. It was a simple but enjoyable evening. Catering had fettuccini or penne pasta with a white or red sauce. Meatballs. Salad and garlic bread. Unsweetened tea or punch. The dj was great considering the young crowd.

Great condition for this track. Not as good as others but considering the price it is good.

Nice course. Was enough of a challenge for this beginner and would likely still provide a good challenge when my game improves. Will go play at this course again. Only downside I experienced was slow players in front of my group. Seemed like they werent spacing groups properly.

Very poorly managed course; would never play a round here again. I had a tee time at 12:30 on a Friday.First off, they didnt have a starter, so anyone just walked up to the tee and went. They sent out fivesomes followed by sets of twosomes. No course should send out 5 players ever. To make matters worse, how can you send out 5 people in a group, but not pair up a set of twosomes?It took just under 6 hours for me to complete 18 holes, and I was playing as a twosome. Beyond this, I never saw a single marshall driving around who could address slow play. I also never saw a drink cart the entire round.I booked as a single player and they paired me up as a fivesome. When I arrived, learned this, and asked to get a refund, they said they couldnt and that my card would be charged whether I played or not. Luckily they agreed to take me out of the fivesome at the least.For such a fun and beautiful course, its a shame they ruin it with fivesomes, no starter, no course marshall to address slow play, and not a single cart with drinks driving around the entire time. Save your money, dont book a round here.

Booked DBGC for my wedding on May 4th. I had a couple of hiccups at the beginning due to staff turnover and changes that were not communicated with me. I only found out because I called directly. HOWEVER...Kelsey did an AMAZING job once she took over. She answered every phone call, question, and email I sent. She redid my proposal as many times as it took for me to ensure I saw all my options. Shout to Haley as well for helping whenever Kelsey was not around and for being there the day of the event.The place looked great, it was everything I had envisioned and more. Service and food were awesome, the drinks were on point. I highly recommend booking at DBGC and working with either of the amazing ladies there! Thanks again!!

Great course on a pretty day no place youd rather be..and they pour heavy at the 19th hole..and the food rocks..

Good bar

Food is good prices are good and service i excellent.The bar area seemed dated and smelled like an attic... dusty.Great golf course all the amenities, and nice restaurant and pro shop.

Only reason why I dont give it 5 start is because some of the green is not really good take care off.

Your location algorithm is off as I only drove by on the freeway do its strange that you had me as being in the location long enough too warrant an inquiry about my experience there

Decent course. Cheap. Pretty well maintained.I would go again, but not my first choice. The noise and smell of the freeway could be a bit bothersome. Holes away from the freeway were much better.Pros: Cost, holes are well maintained, fun course.Cons: being right on the freeway, no water coolers on any holes, can get busy with walkers.

Large coarse...nice coffee shop...a wedding location

Had a t time at 1:16, and went out at 2:30, no cars available. I ike the course but will not come back for a while. :(

A reasonable price for golf green fees. But, buy you golf balls before you come and save.

Looks like a good layout but disappointed that they did not have rental clubs.

Great weekend pricing and the course is in great shape.

This course does not meet expectations of an above average golfer. The range they claim is good is complete crap. You hit off of mats and hit with restricted flight balls, on an elevated area. The course is in horrible condition from the tee boxes, to fairways, to greens. The worse part is it took 5 and 1/2 hours to play and some how they let groups of 5 tee off which is usually unheard of. I would look some where else practically any where before I would ever play here again.

This review is for the driving range only. 12 dollars gets you a good amount of golf balls to shank and dribble off the tee, for a beginner like me at least. Great place for people who cant golf a lick to come and not be judged by others. Theyve added speakers to their driving range which plays adult contemporary classics. Nothing like The Carpenters and Air Supply to go with my poor iron game.

Good food. Very nice setting for banquet I would happy to book my party their. AAA+++

Course was is good shape. Finished 18 in about 4 and a half hours in a Monday afternoon. Errant tee shots are ok here with the course being pretty wide open. A few challenging holes. Ill golf here again and for the price you really cant beat it. Greens are pretty spongy and slow. Bunkers need some work, I try to stay out of them but the 2 I hit into were like concrete. Overall good experience

Friendly set up. Practice area has been improved and now it is excellent. Some of the fairways are very dry and brown.

We rented the hall and everything was great but the food wasnt on time for about 30min.

This course is great for beginners and those who enjoy golfing without all of the hoopla. You will find a lot of slow players here so keep that in mind.Greens were well maintained. There were some divots in the putting areas that appeared like somebody decided to use an iron on the grass for great effect. But like I said earlier, expect to see this kind of behavior from the local kids... and by kids I mean all the way up to 50 years old.The bar area seemed dated and smelled like an attic... dusty.

This is public golf course at a reasonable price. But theres a noise because Freeways passing by.

Never again will I ever play here. I booked a tee time for two golfers for 4th of july to find out at the 30 min before play that my partner cancelled, so I notified the cashier and she said she was unable to give me a refund for my friends cancellation she continued to charge me for two people when it was only me, she stated that if I contacted the manager @ the pro shop he may refund me, so I proceeded to start play and tried to call the manager I left two messages after I didnt here from manager I tried to call a third time still nothing. @ this time I was almost finished with my round which went by really quick considering I was the only out on the golf course, I thought to myself how wierd that they couldnt give me a reimbursement thinking there was no one out playing. I then went to ask if manager was in and why no one called me back, to find out the manager was joking around with other people in office and not doing his job by not even making an attempt to call me. Very unprofessional still to this day no call back, I used to like this place Not Now..

Decent golf course for the price but greens had just been done ariated so each putt was an adventure. A little frustrating when it causes three putts

Took a few courses here for begginers the people here are super nice and so are the instructors. If trespassing and caught be aware the penalty do apply and you can get in trouble with the law.

Place of play is pretty slow, but thats to be expected. Greens in great condition today

High compliments to Brad and the staff at Diamond Bar. The course is in good to great shape. The greens are getting a little bumpy because the numbers of players and not fixing divots- The only discouraging thing that I can say is TOO SLOW! 5 1/2 hrs and we were on the heels of the group ahead and the group behind us was on our heels. We teed off at 6:30 right on time and so slow- we couldnt get the groups ahead to move at all. The marshall was there and I think he was frustrated too( nice guy by the way)I will definitely come back to Diamond Bar- but I am used to a 3.5 to 4 hour round.You will enjoy the course and the challenge but be prepared for the pace.

Went for Mothers Day brunch. Our server Christian was awesome, he kept the Mimosas coming! Ill be asking for him every time Im there.

Good view and the grass looks great I also saw 2 deer here, but I did not like the food they had it was like raw meat.

Just had my windshield broken driving by here 10/16/16. Avoid at all costs as they make no attempt to assist or rectify the situation. Assistant GM Jay lied to me when he told me he would check for the responsible party and failed to do so.

Great LA County course.

Had my daughters soccer banquet there. It was the worst food Ive ever had at a banquet. Inedible.

I have been playing this course for many years. About a decade ago American Golf did some major upgrades and the course had been in very good shape. This week I played here for the first time in a couple of months and cannot believe how quickly it has gone down hill. The greens must have a fungus or other disease. The are covered in patches of dead spots. I will give it another try next year, how they get it solved.

Fun neighborhood golf course to play...fair price as well!

May be due to the Monday playing, I never saw the front group. It was so............o fast play. Took me only 4 hours. On the other hand, there were so much construction/repairing working going on. First and last greens were under construction, and one of long hole(par 5) ended with a middle hole(par 4). But overall the thing I like the most was the Green. Down hill putting was very fast and the side way putting was fun to read. Oh, one more, I noticed the green was aerified two different time. All the pin position we played were very good condition, and the other half of greens were still under aerifying condition. I think this is very considerable way of honoring golfers.

The course is not in good shape. The mowing of the rough and fairways are inconsistent. This has been going on for almost a year now.

Good time. Im not an avid golfer, but this course was fun and worth the money.
