Beautiful park but fills up like crazy after 6pm & is not social distanced or covid safe.
An Detroit jewel. Super clean, nice vantage point of the downtown skyline and river, best basketball court and skateboard course in the city.
Has a great dog park and playground. A really nice place for families, young people who skateboard and dog owners.
An oasis in downtown Detroit, Riverside Skatepark is a brand new, clean, well planned, safe, family friendly destination. In the shadow of the Ambassador Bridge, this park has it all: challenging and easy runs, a full bowl, stairs and rails. Skateboarders, Inline Skaters and BMX-ers of all skill levels and ages shred while onlookers watch from benches and picnic benches. Bravo Detroit.
The new park is great so much to doThe FOOT is back
Great park, not very busy but is a little isolated
We come for the dog park, its a great park HOWEVER on the weekends there is a huge night life here and the people who party at the adjacent skate park come in here to sit and eat the problem is they leave their chicken bones, beer cans, etc,. Everywhere so you have to kind of scan the park especially if your dogs are organic like mine.
I’m really impressed the city built a skatepark this on this scale. I can say one thing they definitely didn’t cut any costs when it comes to lighting that’s for sure you could see this place from the moon!! I’m glad to see all the positive things starting happening in the city for once and that isn’t just exclusive to the big shoots just trying to put more money in there pockets but actually does very little for the people in who live in the city. Hopefully there are plenty more places on the drawing board like this to come that can actually make a real difference for changing the city’s future. Good job Detroit and also to the sponsors that helped make this happen.
I go almost every night the park is awesome
Uh ohhhhh. Guess who camed to the party....
This place slaps. Real good energy.
Very nice skate park
Very remarkable park. Always busy.
Its nice not dirty some people are nice
An otherwise great skatepark with one design flaw: the 9pm sprinkler deluge
Great attitude all-around
Great vibe
Great time They need to empty the trash more often
Awesome community of riders. Majority of them are all nice guys and girls too!
Awesome skatepark. Lots of flat ground and places for Street skaters and also it has a mini half in a pretty substantial Bowl. Its not too busy. My favorite skatepark aside from Farmington.
Best skatepark in the midwest
Checked the place out while visiting before a Tigers game. Kids and I had a blast. Can’t wait to come check it out again!
We live in ann arbor but love this park.Drive here often. Well lighted with a Great vibe.Parking is plentiful.portapottys nearby.some nights hotdog cart( drinks and food).Skates, skateboard, bikes and scooters.community here is culturally diverse and family friendly. Hoops and kids playground conveinient to skate area.Itself offers many different skate surfaces both street and vert.grind and stairs.Skate the way you like.Scenery is beautiful ambassador bridge and Detroit s waterfront as the back drop.
Nice park and everyone was having fun. Worth the visit
Thanks Tony Hawk, great place to chill
Such a good park I love the variety
A hidden gem, right on the Riverfront next to Ambassador Park, in the shadow of the bridge. Phase 1 of a plan to restore a popular yet neglected area of the Riverfront. The city has a plan which included reclaiming part of this park illegally seized from the Moroun family. A work in progress slowly although the skate park is done in use complete with nightime lights. ok
Best Skatepark in Detroit!
