Love the AM skating for adult sessions

The say they reopen at 6:30pm, but when I got here at 7:30 they wasnt letting anyone in and we had to stan in the freezing rain for almost an hour! Once inside it was over crowded, and very limited seating. DO NOT DO BIRTHDAY PARTIES HERE, I would say they are not kid friendly. Its just q hang out spot for middle schoolers!!!

Took my child skating for the first time. Havent been here in over 20yrs still a great place to go. Good mix of new school and old school music. Glad to see them still in the community

My kids were bruised up the next day and they have skating experience.

My son started taking skating lessons at Detroit Roller Wheels on Saturday mornings when he was 6 and couldnt even keep his balance on skates. Six months later he was in the adult advance class. The staff is like family there and makes it a safe environment for kids to have fun.

Detroit Roller Wheels is a Detroit staple... Its been a long time but I really enjoyed myself with my family. They need newer skates for rental tho

Never answer the phone. Does text back quickly though. Hours listed apparently dont correspond with actual business hours. Booked my party elsewhere because it was easier to get in contact with that business and they only require half deposit instead of full amount upfront.

Best roller skating rink for me and my grandkids. The rink maybe small but the atmosphere is wonderful and the workers make you feel like family plus ever 1st Sunday is free

The people at the door were rude to me,I can pretty much guess how they treat the children that get dropped off to skate their by their parents and guardians.The owner wasnt any better with the way he talks to people.They need courtesy training.

Came here recently with a group of adults. The workers were very friendly, and they had many good policies in place. Lots of kids, birthdays, and families were having fun. The place was clean, processes were simple, and the rink was everything youd expect it to be. Definitely a gem for the neighborhood.

If you want to lose or just keep your weight on track, this is the place to get it done, and in a family atmosphere. Some say it is the massive mirror wall that let you see what you are doing, some say it is the music. For the old, it keeps the doctor happy and for the young, it gives them something to do. There is no other place that does all this, get a good work out, have a good time and doing it on a brand new floor.

Great family fun. Place could use updating. The staff can be very rude too rude for family fun... Its not that serious. They have a concession stand. Video games. Great D. j. Free parking.

The place has been for years I believe theyre Under New Management they need to do some repairs. not too many food choices in their food court... overall went for private party had fun but the place does need some updates.

A WONDERFUL PLACE WHERE YOU CAN SEND YOUR KIDS ON THE WEEKEND. KEEPS THEM OUT OF TROUBLE.

Great morning adult session! The time is 9:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Friday morning, there is also the same session on Monday morning.

We usually go on Elementary Night where the kids get in free and if they dont have their own skates its just $3!The only issue I have there on this night is the music! Its NEVER catered to a kid-friendly music selection. Everyone doesnt let their children listen to the trending music because of what it promotes... CHANGE THE MUSIC ON ELEMENTARY NIGHT and get 5 stars!!

Had an awesome time with the senior class of Frederick Douglass Academy. The students were polite, personable, inspiring and overall amazing!! The skating rink is great!

Brought my daughter here for one if her classmates birthday party. Nice clean place. Good sound system too.

Fun.. Monday free for kids under 12

I love the Saturday sessions between the hours of 12pm - 2pm. Great time for bday parties or just bring your family out to have some fun. Great selection of todays hip-hop and r&b tunes. The got dogs are okay. The Pizza is nasty and so is the chilli sauce. Dont buy that.

First time going skating, I had fun

Average to Good skate . Small crowd. Music is good first hour and a half. Then the next 6 songs have different lyrics and music, however, the tempo remains the same. Boring!!!! I walked out during this half because of it. What a drag.

Fun and helpful staff

Very crowded with disrespectful, loud, pushy teensangers. The DJ played music I personally couldnt relate to and found it disturbing to see the minors recite each profane lyric in unison while pushing through everyone. The skates are the same from when I was younger, translation, not good! The admission and skate rental fee is unjustifiable for the ancient skates, broken lockers, bad ventilation, horrible music, and piss poor customer service. Upgrade and have adults night DRW.
