This is a nice park most of the time. Sometimes you get vagrants and drunks on the outskirts of the park but they never come close to the play-scape or the kids. Ive been bringing my kids here for 8 years and Ive never had a problem. Its a great place to bring the kids after school or on the weekends so that they can interact with other children from the neighborhood. The park also has a public grill and pavillion for small cookouts and get togethers.

Everyday they give the kids food because convid-9, we park the car in front and they open the back and give us the food. Easy

The grass needs to BE CUT! It place that I walk thu when I was a kid

What a precious secret, i had the pool to myself for one hour, clean and refreshing!

Its pretty clean has a pool if you get a membership. Big parking lot and a great play ground

My little brother comes here for swimming. It was going to be my first time seeing him swim but I come here to be disappointed.No communication between coaches, parents, workers and facility.You dont find out practice is canceled until you come and leave you kid.They were nice enough to give them free swim time, for the time they wasted to get here but 5 minutes in the workers made them get out the pool and clean up after the group before. Why??Poor kids had to wait to be let in but were never given the okay to get back in...my little brother didnt want to stay anymore and decided to leave and all the little kids followed.I feel bad for them.Anyways, only good thing about here is that it is free.I just hope things get better if not there will definitely be more complaints from parents.

Well I became a member of the Patton recreational center that has not had a chance to really use the facilities before I go whats things have changed and Im trying to reschedule my to make a change well maybe one day

Very cool. They have a lot to do for everyone. Including children all the way up to the elderly. They have arts and crafts, swim classes, weightroom, soccer basketball. Staff was nice answered all my questions. I would suggest anyone to sign up and see what they can offer you. Detroit residents are only 10 dollars to be a member

Best small gym if you want your own fitness gym work out.

Best place for exercise. Nice people short distance. Easy to take the bus to and back.

I think this is a city of Detroit Recreation Department facility. There are many different offices also hosted in this building. Parking can be sketchy if you come during events. there is a pool here as well as a gym and a huge soccer field. the city of Detroit id center is also located right inside of the front door. I suggest you stop by if youre in the area and look around in the building since there is so much available here. friendly Community Based Services available to Detroit residents.

Great neighborhood rec center been going since I was about nine so over nineteen years almost n its gigantic. It holds basket ball court weight n exercize rooms tv rooms game rooms huge swimming pool in all if u want to work out in take a swim its a good place..

Reaction has a pool and activities, and a big gym. And lots of other programs. Very nice.

It was great the southwest bless fest was wonderful the crew was so polite and organized our church had a prayer table everyone was polite and helpful thank you so grateful God bless

Beautiful building surrounded by a huge area of clean, green parks. The facilities are very neat and I love the variety of activities you can do here. The pool looked awesome and my favorite is the weight and cardio rooms that have plenty of equipment to use!! And also, for us Detroiters, the recreation center is three minutes from the DDOT #1 Vernor route, so it is accessible for those who may not exactly live in the surrounding neighborhood, but is definitely worth the trip!
