Tried to play this past Sunday. They over book this place all the time. We had a tee off time for 18 holes at Noon. By the time they took care us after waiting in line to pay, they told us we had to tee off at the back 9. There were 4 carts in front of us and people already playing on the hole. By this time it was 12:45 p.m. There was no starter out there. There is never a ranger. Its like this all the time. People stand around and yak and smoke and take their sweet time. If they told us we could play 9 holes, then we would have started on the first 9 but they dont tell you that. We complained, again, and a snotty blonde woman with short hair said Want a refund? and I said Yes. She was surprised. Didnt like having to refund $$$. Shes pulled this before. They make you pair up with people you dont know, but if its one of their friends, they dont do that! I have seen it myself. Poor management.

I played this course since I was 5 years old! Its a great course for beginners and it does provide some challenging holes. The course has been kept up with pretty well throughout the years with tornados and floors altering the environment. I think the price point is fair, it could be better but I appreciate the fact its the only public course on the east side of Detroit. Ill definitely be back often when I come back home!

Nice golf course and friendly staff, However the course is under Construction. Its has a lot of holes and trenches all around.. pretty frustrating to ride. They also need to do a better job at mulching the leaves. Its very difficult to find your ball.

Chandler is in great condition. Fairways are in great shape and the greens are in excellent shape. I think the front (greens) were slower and the back faster. They just got new carts. Hit em deep.

They over book, have too many groups teeing off whenever, try to pair up people, I will never play there again.This past weekend was the worst told me and my sister in law we had to pair up.They also started us on the back nine because we were playing 18 holes, there was at least 5 carts backed up.No will not play there again

Golfed here yesterday. Course was in good shape and the staff was friendly. Very open and great for beginners. The round of 18 took about 5 hours to play, I dont think it was overbooked though, I think there were quite a few beginning golfers playing. Nothing the course could have done differently. One thing that made me nervous is because it is close to the highway and main roads there is a little noise. Doesnt bother you while playing, but there were a couple times players would yell Fore! and the other players couldnt hear them. It is a little scary, especially considering there are not a lot of trees, so balls go into other fairways rather often.I would return to this course and I would recommend it to someone looking for a wide open course, especially if they are rather new to the sport.

Showed up to a delay of 45 minutes due to frost. This would’ve been ok if they called us and let us know ahead of time. The tee times in the morning should have to play in the frost since they knew the conditions the night before were cold! The starter had no clue what was going on and was shouting at people. There was at least a 10 minute wait after every finished hole since it was so backed up. It took 4 hours to finish 9 holes!!!! That’s insane. I was argued with over wanting a half refund or rain check for the back 9. I was told “well when there’s a delay, that’s the risk you take.” Never coming back to this poorly managed course.

Not sure why there’s a starter when nobody regulates play. Only play here if you’re not pressed for time.

First trip to the course thus year. Staff was great! The other golfers very respectful of our new normal and the course was well maintained. I will be going again soon

Accidentally left my GPS watch on the cart yesterday. The cart cleaning attendant turned it in. He is a very honest person.Thank you for your honesty and integrity!!

Horribly slow round. Paid for the 2 of us to play 18 but we left after 9 holes. You need a Bronco to ride on the fairways.

This is the most underrated golf course on the east side of town. The new Management has done a great job keeping the greens in great shape and even the area around the greens. They keep the grass cut everywhere else too . $18.00 or even $20.00 for 18 on a course that is a good size and in my opinion harder than St Clair shores it is a great value to play Chandler. If you play from the Blue at chandler it is the same as playing from the white as far as distance goes on most other expensive courses in the area so great place to work on your game and play fast as chances are there is not someone waiting on you and you are not waiting on them.

We have a group that been playing that 40 to 50 years but we having a problem playing under this new Management Group they only want to give us the unlimited amount of tee times even though we pay the same amount as everyone else they say they want to change the look out there the group is mostly blacks

They are getting better! Looks great but they need to monitor what is going on on the course!

The course Marshall from the first tee box told us to just hit into the guys in front of us. Took 3+ hours to golf 9 holes. Money grab by slamming the course.
