This was my first time here. Parking was $10. I didnt have concessions. Bathrooms were clean. Seating good for the venue. I saw the Harlem Globetrotters. Very unorganized event. I purchased floor 4 seats, center court, for $125x2. The entire floor 4 seats were for the players so my $250 tickets were non existent. Fraud. We were allowed to stay and sit in the players row, you get to sit with the players, the opposing players tho, not the globetrotters, so our seats were a team away from center. Not even close to what I purchased. We couldnt see the other half the court, the side of the Globetrotters net, because the players were standing. Then a family of five came in and we were asked to move down even further to allow them to sit in the second seats we were given. Now we are maybe four seats from the end. I couldve purchased better seats for half the price. I was in tears. Although my experience was not a great one, the child I took had a better time because 1. it didnt cost her any money and 2. after the game, she was escorted to get the autograph and picture of each Globetrotter. She knew who each one was and could give me the name when I was confused. When we left she bragged I got each of their autographs. It made all the difference that she enjoyed herself. As for me, I came home and watched over an hours worth of the HG on YouTube.

Buying my tickets sucked. Extremely poor customer service. The gentlemen at ticket window acted as if he was more interested in shuffling papers than selling tickets. If he would have asked me if I wanted to by some tickets to a U OF D Basketball game I would bought several games. Very disappointing customer service. This is a beautiful facility and there are no bad seats. I would love to bring my family back for more events.

Great night out...watching Harlem Globetrotters

Need more help at the snack bar... Went to get snacks at halftime and I missed the whole 3rd & 4th quarter.

Very cost effective local sporting experience. Had a good time. Will go back.

Came here to watch a couple of games for the highschool basketball playoffs and my experience was a memory for life. The atmosphere is incredible and the view is good all throughout the stadium. Gotta come here to watch the highschool basketball playoffs there is nothing like it.

The arena has a lot of history in it but has not been renovated and feels more like a relic than a crown jewel it could be. The bleachers in the lower bowl are great but the upper bowl is old and horribly uncomfortable.Just replacing the old, narrow, unsupportive and uncomfortable seats with something wider and slightly cushioned could help even with people seeking to have events there and especially recruiting. They dont even sell out their own games. A little less seating would not hurt mainly from the point that its capacity is never utilized. Needs some dedicated press boxes and VIP areas, not many but at least some.Wayne State is in the process of getting a new Basketball facility that will house the Detroit Pistons Developmental team and games so it will likely make it a desired designation of smaller basketball events and likely other uses as well.Time to step your game up U of D!

One of the best places to watch college basketball anywhere! This is an old school arena, and Dick Vitale court is legendary. So many great players have comes through U of D and played in the NBA.

Its a great historic venue for the University of Detroit Titans mens and womens basketball teams. And other events. I was there for the MHSAA boys basketball tourney and this place was packed. The two games I was there for were great. You should go during basketball season and enjoy a game or two. Great place.

The building heat was cranked to eleven but the atmosphere was great

Very good stadium to watch basketball games at. They have plenty of room and a live television stream that you can watch the game from. If you dont feel like going, you can always Google how the game went and find out there.

I watched my brother graduate and the stadium is very nice. Seats were actually somewhat comfortable even though I was there so long.

Calihan Hall is the second best arena in the country... second only top the Palestra in Philadelphia. If you are a true hoops junkie, you will love Calihan Hall. The only thing missing is a good team!

I have been going here to U of D basketball games my whole life. Great arena and awesome sound with the new scoreboard and sound system. Great place for a cheap and easy basketball game.

They should be better prepared for sell out crowds... Ran out of food in the first quarter of the first game, thats sad!!

The public seating area is very steep, not recommended for people with height phobia; one has to pay unusually close attention when going to or coming from the seats. It’s not recommended to have baby or children who may need help or being carried. Lastly may be its may require ADA compliance review.

Nice arena! Just the right size, you dont feel overwhelm by the arena like the newer ones.

Brought my son and his friends to a high school championship game. I initially was Leary since we just moved to Michigan and we know no-one here . I was very pleased to see the level of safety. S very great experience.

Best entertainment for your money!! Everyone is friendly & helpful! Bring the family. Glad they have a new coach!! Old one was lousy.

The view is good from everywhere, and theres generally room to spread out. Onsite parking is limited, so either arrive early or plan on parking in the surrounding neighborhoods.
