Awesome little venue with plenty of great dance floor on the inside. The rates are AWESOME if you’re a small group. Stefanie is very nice and willing to work with you to make sure you’re happy.

Dont hesitate to visit this unique gift to Detroit set directly in the heart of the Linwood corridor, near historic communities that have endured tragedy and neglect, communities whose vibrancy has always been kept alive in hearts and minds held uplifted and directly perceiving the true gifts all around them. Gifts are often given at high cost and theres no accounting for so many details, so many histories, so many stories, so many bodies moving through space, and if you happen to encounter the owners of the Light Box during one of your trips around the sun, say thanks for having achieved something rare and beautiful. I attended a Contact Improv jam workshop for the weekend. Wonderful hosts - strong sense of community, inclusivity, and creativity... And they have a great dance floor!
