Amazing place to visit. Dru was knowledgeable, fun and super nice! The experience was more than I expected. We fed the alligators, got the held a one month old and a two year old. We even got a nice picture and a certificate.Great experience over all. We will come back.
Four stars because its free, otherwise it would be less. Bunch of alligators cramped into this paddle of dirty water. They are pretty close so you can view them from about 10 feet away. You can buy four tiny pieces of what looks like dog food for $4 and feed the gators. This place kept kids mildly entertained for about 20 minutes.
Cool place! Loved that it had free admission. And the things they did charge you for werent overpriced. $4 to feed the gators with 4 pieces of bait. Not bad. $10 for a 5x7 print of you holding a baby gator. We did several activities today and this was my sons favorite.
I have been to many other gator parks. I was let down by all aspects of this one. I highly recommend the one in Colorado, in the San Luis Valley.
Was the best time. To watch the alligators was amazing. Hey cant beat free. Wealth of information. Great bars.
This place is so awesome! Feeding the gators is so fun and inexpensive. The staff is amazing.. Emily and Sarah were so helpful and informative. You can tell they enjoy what they do. We’ll be back next time we’re in Destin.
Great place to eat and it was my first time. And see alligators
If youre wanting to see alligators, while on vacation, you can see them there but a lot of things were fake. Pretty sure the albino alligator was either dead or fake.
Its really cool for the kids and the whole family. I cant believe its free to enter. I didnt get to try the food but for sure next time were in Florida.
It wasnt all it was hyped up to be. Pearl was really cool though.
My daughters favorite animal. This place was great to see alligators and learn about them. But it was so extremely crowded and there’s no one asking to keep distances away or mentioning it at all. They are not doing the 50 percent capacity everywhere else is. Anyways, we fed alligators which was really neat and my daughter got a picture with a baby gator. It’s mouth was taped shut, which I hated but they assured it doesn’t hurt and the gators have great lives. We bought lots of stuff at the gift shop and waited to eat at fudrudders. They told us it would be an hour wait, it was close to two hours. We are gf and the food was pretty good. They have gf buns. It looked clean in there, there’s writing all over the walls, like everywhere. Our waiter was very nice and attentive.
Cool place. Was a long wait. 2+ hours. Lots of trash in with the gators.
Absolutely LOVED this place. The price for bait is cheap and the entry is 100% free. Would go again for sure!
Loved the details and its something Id try going to in the future
Affordable and fun! We had a great time!
This is one of the best vacation spots around. Lots and lots to do. You wont be board or run out of things to see or do. If in Destin, dont forget to take in a whole new view and take the helicopter ride. Its so worth it!
Super cool, you can feed the gators with a makeshift fishing rod
Very nice the kids really enjoyed it
Besides being a free exhibit the gators seemed miserable! I have no sun, no real earth surface, no real freedom, it’s a water hole. Not the one to really post but they need to make the exhibit better for the gators. I sure wouldn’t want to live in that place
The wait was 2 hours which is the normal for this place!!! The place looked fun but we were to hungry to wait that long:(
Pretty neat place to learn about Gators and local wildlife
Our server was Jake and the service was EXCELLENT! Food was delicious! Highly recommend the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp stuffed with crab and glazed with brown sugar (YUM!). Also, they have a great pass time while you’re waiting for a table in a kids playground and alligator-feeding. Such a great place for families. Would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to friends and family...
Go see pearl! She Is very pretty!
Nice but too many people not masked
My kids loved feeding the gators!
Great place for families, the wait was about 30 minutes- perfect to go check out the gators! Food was great and came out quick.
Really cool place for family or romance! Live Gators to feed. We were there later in the afternoon and I think Gators were full! Lol watched others feed and have fun. Not like frothed up water to get food but fun anyway. Two dozen live 3ft Gators or so. Def recommend for kids into that stuff. Huge game room attached. I wanted to play but wife was hungry! Lol. Awsome place, price was average. Sat at the bar and had sausage gator burger!!! GET THIS!! The absolutely worst thing about the place was know where you were! I kid here but, its a maze for first timers. Employees were really helpful directing us to where we needed to go. Great place! Wish we had one closer to Phenix City!! Loved it!!
Worth checking out for something free and fun to do, especially with the bar and restaurant there too.
Awlful had to wait 1 hour45 min not good for price had to pay
Pretty cool place, our 5 children loved it. Gator tale with the sweet chili sauce was excellent. Kids meals came with a little toy alligator. I ordered a salad and it was the biggest salad ive ever seen. It is expensive but the portions were so big we were able to take leftovers back to the hotel to eat for lunch the next day. It was pretty crowded when we went (labor day weekend) but i figured it would be. The kids played on the playground and fed the alligators while they got our table ready. Its only $4 for a bag of food and a pole and $10 to have your picture taken with a live alligator. Our handler was so nice and patient with all of our children and let each one of them hold the alligator, i wish i would have gotten his name so i could put it in this review!
Great little spot to see and feed alligators. Free entry and to feed the gators is less than 5 dollars.
Trey and the staff of Gator Beach were all amazing! The hospitality that was shown to my family was incredible!! They went above and beyond to make my 2 boys feel special!! My husband and I surprised our boys with the VIP tour and it was so worth it!! Both boys learned so much about the gators and gained a once in a lifetime experience! Both of my kids love reptiles and inspiration was poured into them. I cant thank the staff, especially Trey enough for what they did for my family. Thank you all for everything!! Love love love Gator Beach!!
Fun experience for the kids. Food is very expensive though. We shared food and it was still high. Expect to drop at least 20 per person for a meal. The meals did come with a lot of food and friendly staff. We watched the 10pm gator show.
Great place. They have a lot of small crocodiles you can feed. You can pet some smaller ones and take pictures. Food is very good also. The decor and the ambience is also very nice. A unique experience.
This place was amazing. They really let you interact with the alligators. They are incredibly knowledgeable about alligators. They are very inspirational people and want you to help protect the wildlife. I would defiantly come back in the future.
Had a great time last time i was here. This time bringing the boyfriend for his first time today cant wait
If you wanna see gators!! Here they got lots!
Totally worth it and very fun. Safe place too as long as no one tries to climb the fence like children who may not understand what alligators can do and may mistake them for a turtle since they are still and seem calm.
Feeding the gators was a real cool experience for my kids. $4 gets you a pole and 4 food crutons. Kids had a blast!
I brought my 10 y/o daughter for the VIP experience and it was well worth it. Dru and Trey greeted us with great enthusiasm and a nice sense of humor. My daughter felt like a VIP the entire time. She learned so much and absolutely fell in love with Pearl the albino alligator. The friendly and fun tour didnt end with the alligator experience it continued all the way up to Fudpuckers. Where she was again treated like royalty and the kindness and constant attention continued with the friendly staff of the restaurant. She became a VIP guest for life and really look forward to our next visit.!
Outstanding place..can be as economical as you want. Can take a picture holding a small alligator or feed the gators for a small fee. Chris was an amazing host/resource in the gator area-friendly and informative. A must stop, imo, when you are in the area. Many souvenirs for purchase and a restaurant as well.
This is an absolute must do experience of you are in the area! Great food and awesome gator experience.
So much fun! Very nice people!
Great place to spend some interesting time with family and friends. They have lots of baby gators and even an albino gator as well. We havent had a chance to try their cafe, but kids had fun at their small playground area and attached arcade area. We will be going back there again to try their cafe and bar.
Its a good place if you have little ones who want to feed the baby gators. If not its not all that entertaining...they dont have any gators over 3-4 foot.
Super fun experience! Live gators, cool restaurant, and gift store!
Gator beach was probably the most fun I have had since 2014 going to the one in Mississippi and I honestly choose gated beach over that And my honest opinion Is it will probably be the funnest place you will have gone to in a while and its next to Big kahunas
Fun place to check out. They have lots of gators. You can feed them and get your picture take with one.
Got to see bunch of alligators
Great stop for kids
Fun place for the family. We did not eat at the restaurant, but we did enjoy feeding the alligators.
Worse service ever waited about 30mins to take a picture with the gators told the front office and didn’t bother to call anybody gift shop worse experience ever employee followed my family and me around the store like if we were going to still something first time coming here and the last
Kind of neat in a kitschy touristy way. Went during off-season so it was quiet but the place is HUGE. Should be easy to get a table anytime.
We had deb as our waitress. Great food, my wife and I had the mahi mahi. My daughter had the shrimp and my son had some fries. Delicious and conveniently located next to the arcade for our kids
Kids loved it!
This is a great little restaurant with lots to see, if you are into it have your picture taken with a gator, we did and it was lots of fun and an enlightening experience. The gators are well taken care of and having the chance to pet and hold one is really cool.
This place is great!!! Great food, drinks, and entertainment. .. We feed gators and they also have a gator show, went on a scavenger hunt. Great place for adults and kid
Didnt like it. The treatment of the alligators was horrific, both with their confined habitats and the way people exploited them. I found it disgusting and cruel. I did not try the food.
The food was awesome! Very friendly staff! The security officer was awesome! Great family fun! Feeding the gators is great for the little kids and big kids alike! Lol
Fun, unique place. Food is good, but feeding the gators is better lol
The atmosphere was fun for all ages and we even Got to Hold a little Alligator and have a picture done for a small fee.
Awesome fun time
Awesome food with a GREAT view of live gators! WAY better than Margaritaville on the boardwalk
Good food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.
My Grand Babies Had A Blast At Gator Beach. It Was Also Good And Fun For Adults As Well
Very busy with lots of stuff to do with kids
Very fun and interactive experience and they were very nice an cooperative.
Fishing for gators lol great! Very crowded
Great atmosphere, food, and staff!! They are very efficient considering how busy they are, very well managed.
The place is great the show is awesome. My kids and even I enjoyed it.
The Gator Beach was so cool! I loved watching them swim and eat off the rods provided for feeding. You can get pictures holding one too. It was free to walk in and see them, but we ate at the restaurant too. Wonderful place. Warning though, there are tons of stairs to get around. I dont know if theres any accessible route, sorry!
Staff really cares about the Gators and know what theyre doing. Super knowledgeable. Reasonably priced pics and food to feed them with!
Brother in Law wanted to see FL gators so we came to Fudpuckers and Gator Beach :) Great place to see some gators and good food. Definitely for tourists but still pretty fun.
This place was awesome! Id give it 5 stars if my whole family would have raved about the food. I had the gator burger and thought the flavor and portion size was well worth it. My kids had the regular burgers but only thought they were ok. The actual facility is what is really cool! We got to feed the gators, my kids got to hold a gator and take a picture with it. They also had a play area which my toddler really enjoyed and a small arcade.
I would not drive tens of miles to see it again, but if you are close it is a nice free thing to see.
This place wasnt anything special. If you want to see alligators for free then go for it.
A must do, if youre a little bit adventerous and have never held an alligator.
Cool gator exhibit
Awesome place for our grandchildren (6 and 3 y. o. ) !Super cool gator exhibits, albino gator, 50 baby gators !, and they got to FEED the gators !They LOVED IT ! ️! !5$ to feed gators, everything else - FREE !Best field trip EVER ! ! !Grandpa Chet
We drove 50 miles but couldnt see them because I have a service animal. NOWHERE IS THIS LISTED ON THE SITE.
Good time with the kids. Cool experience.
This picture says it all.
Fun! Nice staff, lots of gators. Feed them is fun.
Great free exhibit. We didnt eat there though. Plenty of baby Gators to see. Dont expect big ones though. The albino Gator was very cool. Feeding the baby Gators was quite the experience
