This theater has fine acoustics but is run down on its heels. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the comedy show we came for. I would love to see what a sentimental investor (Hello, Virginia, is that you?) bring it back to its glory.
Came tonight to see a show on the second floor. As a venue it is a 10/10 dive! Not ritzy, but totally parent approved, big room, and was set up fun tonight (lights, loud music, very social setting). Bathroom was precarious as a woman. They had an all gender bathroom and a womens bathroom way out of the way to find, my only complaint and very small because at least they had a single gender womens bathroom!
Some of the best Rap and hip hop was recorded here.
It was a very peaceful building with a lot of interesting history behind it
Beautiful theater and lobby in an old building desperately in need of an elevator
Seats need to be replaced. Many slope downward so you feel like youre going to slide out of it.
Its a dump.
Lovely arts center
