There is nothing like strolling through a beautiful flowers garden and chasing butterflies to brighten my day. The museum was enlightening and informative. The staff was friendly and helpful. They offer many free activities throughout the month.

I went there to take my CT pesticide applicator test. I was not expecting the turtle pond at the center of the building or the pay what you can museum just outside. Everyone I met there was pleasant, informative and helpful. I passed my test and glad it was there. A beautiful place with brilliant people !

Have not visited the Kellogg Center, but the Osborne Homestead Museum and Gardens are so wonderful! The history of Frances Eliza Osborne, an accomplished businesswoman and entrepreneur for her time, is amazing and so interesting. There are lots of trails to explore too! I visited on Open House day and made a lovely sachet.

What an Amazing historcal place!!!.every American born girl should go to see how remarkably strong and successful Mrs. Osborn was in a time uncomprehendable to now. If you love true conservation you will love this place!

Excellent Themed Christmas Display. Theme changes every year. Tomorrow, Dec. 16 2018 is the last day for the Holiday Museum Tour. I am looking forward to the garden tours in the summer

What a wonderful experience! Decorated beautifully for the holidays by local garden clubs, there are guided tours that give you information about the displays and the history of the house. A must see for locals, especially this time of year.

Great place to learn of nature and different species native to this area of Ct. Lots of taxidermy birds and fish as well as photos to help teach identification. Excellent place to bring children- some fun stuff to look at. The center offers various programs to the public. The Sunday I visited there was a group hike explaining the geology of the park. Penty of parking and access to lots of trails. There is a museum on the property as well.

It is a nice place. Wont take up much of your day.

Beautiful grounds but Ive never been inside. I like to walk the dog there.

Small environmental center. Has taxidermied hawks and water birds, wooden fish models, live turtle pond, often photo or paintings displayed by local artists. Friendly, knowledgeable staff offer environmental activities for children and adults, often using fields and trails of adjacent Osbornedale State Park. Also affiliated with Osbornedale Homestead, where staff help lead tours of historic farmhouse and gardens.
