Best burger in Denver. Classic dive bar feel. Cheep beer. Good burgers. Need I say more? Honestly, the thought crossed my mind of leaving an average review, to help keep this spot more hidden (ha).

Bar is by itself in a very small, quiet, dark neighborhood; but it stands out with neon lights. Doesnt seem like much when you walk up to it, but once you get inside, its pretty Lively with 80s music. Small bar with engaging bartenders. Self service at the bar -no waitresses; you do order from the menu also with the bartender. We parked in the neighborhood a block away. We didnt know until we got inside, that they do have a parking lot behind the bar. Great Wings, we will return. This was our first time here

Took the advise of my Nextdoor app friends and tried this place tonight. Holy moly. Yes. Best cheeseburger in Denver! Service was fantastic! Patio is socially distanced. Will be back on the regular for sure!

Burgers were great. And it was early in the day so the kids had fun with all the games. They happily accomodated oyr large group, and the bartender and line cook made sure we were taken care of and happy

This is the perfect no frills neighborhood tavern. Super friendly, great burgers, well priced drinks. Games in back. They bring out a carving station on Fridays and serve up meat for free. Who does that?! Awesome!

Cool neighborhood bar although, the night I went was pretty dead, but the bartender was really and it seemed like a cool place. Ill definitely come to check it out on a little bit busier night

Bugs and ants behind the short shelf over by the pool tables. In the dictionary under old dive bar theres a picture of this place. Its run down, dirty, and nothing looks maintained. The burgers come out looking just as bad as the bar, but unexpectedly, they are very tasty. Onion rings were good too. Just replacing the ceiling tiles and showing this place a little cleaning love would make it so much better.

If youre looking for an unpretentious dive bar this is a great spot. Its dark, no windows or natural light, but a cool spot to grab a beer. I wouldnt spend an afternoon here, its more of a quick grab and go

Had a great time, but its hard to know what to do when you get inside. I know its a bar but it was hard to get a tab it was hard to get a beer it was hard to get a shot, it was hard to get the table,it was hard to play shuffleboard, it was hard to play foosball. I love a good crowded bar but it should have a little bit more organization. I had a great time though catch

Okay my experience in this tiny dive bar was surprisingly great! My boyfriend and I went for his companies Christmas party. They rented the place out, ordered pizza, had a raffle, ect. Such a great time! The lack of space was a bit overwhelming at times, but as people trickled out later in the night it felt more comfortable. If youre looking for a casual and affordable place to grab a drink Candlelight Tavern is your jam.

This place gets five stars for its true dive bar nature. The staff is very cool and down to earth. No frills pool table, darts, shuffle board, and large jenga. It can get bust on a Fri night or Saturday night. The food is cheap but food. The chef takes pride in his burger.

Fun bar with lots of Bar games and an interesting crowd. It is small, so seating is limited, but that makes it more fun.

This is a place where you can play variety of bar games, so it is good place if you have group of friends that like to compete against each other. They have Foosball, darts, jenga, pool tables, and shuffleboard which means you can spend a lot of time there and not get bored. Food is decent, nothing fancy but good enough to get you thru.

Visited here a couple months ago and loved it. Good beer, plenty of sports on the TV and everyone is very friendly. Had a great time talking to Scooter, one of the bar tenders and the other locals who were there. If I come through Denver again I am going to visit here again. Best place around to get a beer, watch the game, and have a descent conversation. Thank you all for being a great group of people.

Great dive. Friendly staff and patrons. Showed up at 8pm on a Friday evening to a bar full of cheery, seasoned bar flies. Everyone there was fun and a little rough around the edges at that time, which I greatly like. By about 9:30, it was starting to fill up with a younger crowd, but I greatly enjoyed the visit.

Cool little hang out with plenty of TVs. One side has tables to sit, the other side has pool tables and a shuffleboard table. There was a private party on a Saturday at 6PM which kind of sucked but thats cool that you can rent the whole place out for a private party.Overall, Id go there to chill/belly up and watch games anytime.

The service wasnt great! After last call which was a little after 1am, they started to turn the lights off and kick people out. We paid to play pool but our game was cut in half after last call. Overall I feel the service sucked and I wont go back.

Didnt order food so I wont speak on that. What I will say is that a friend brought me here because its close to his house on a Wednesday night and it was busy and fun. Had a great time and Ill recommend it.

Great little hole in the wall bar, especially if you are a Detroit lions fan! Not much seating if the place is packed but a great atmosphere and friendly bar staff.
