Allyson took amazing care of us. It was such a treat to see live music for the first time in many months due to the pandemic. Food and atmosphere was incredible and it was an evening of pure bliss! Thank you Allyson and everyone at Nocturne for your exceptional hospitality.

My partner and I absolutely adored our time here. The music, food, and service were all fantastic. We are vegan and were able to order from the 3 course dinner menu! All of our courses were amazing, cant recommend it enough.

I really did like my experience at Nocturne!The ambiance is absolutely top notch. Its like walking into a swanky jazz club from a noir novel. The music was a little loud, but thats fair, and the band was talented and pretty cool.We really liked all our food. One entree came out a little cold, but that was easily fixed, and everything was well above average. The extra entertainment charge was a little extreme and unexpected, but supporting local live music is worth it. The service was exceedingly attentive and professional.I look forward to coming back here, particularly when COVID calms down. Just amazing atmosphere, great food, and great service.

Jazz and great food. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. If you at least enjoy that sort of stuff. In fact, you will actually be elated by the experience if youve never tried it. I mean. The musicians are just incredible and they rotate so you get a new experience every time. The food, the food. And drinks! Absolutely insane how good it is.

Rendition delivers!! What a night of amazing food inspired by amazing music. A romantic evening with great wine pairing, excellent service! The menu items are researched to match the history and the music. The chefs delivered to perfection and the band was amazing. Come early and grab a seat! Best show in town. What a night ;)

I really enjoyed this place. Service was outstanding and food was great for the most part. My meat was extremely undercooked, it appeared medium rare instead of medium well. I believe this was a honest misunderstanding. Otherwise great experience and I will return. Kudos to Erica our waitress for being extra awesome.

Great place! Good food and drinks with live music.

This was our first time here and it was excellent. The staff is wonderfully attentive but not overbearing. The food was also excellent we had the calamari two way, scallops and to top it off we went with the French quarter beignets which were exceptional. The live music is a perfect complement to the atmosphere again not to loud and not to soft for you not the enjoy it. Great job guys and gals of Nocturne.

My husband and I went to Nocturne to celebrate my birthday and had a fantastic time.The food was amazing, we had multiple appetizers and each had a main course as well. Such unique dishes and really creative pairings of flavors. The music the night we went was great. If you dont know much about jazz, its nice background music and adds to the environment nicely. But if you do know a lot about jazz its super entertaining to watch the bands perform and see the band-mates feed off of each other. The drinks were awesome as well as the service. I have zero complaints.If youre looking for a fancier place to get dinner and/or drinks with a live band - its the best option I know of. A little on the pricier side, of course, but you get what you pay for and I consider the drinks, food, service, and the experience well worth it.

The food is fabulous, the staff is so kind (thanks for a great time, Danielle!), and the music is great. Expensive, but so worth the money. Their old fashioned was the best Ive ever had, and their ratatouille was delicious.

We went to celebrate my parents 30th wedding anniversary, and Nocturn made it one of the best nights ever! Walking in we were greeted by almost every staff member we passed. Our waitress, Erica, was amazing and attentive. The three course meal was delightful and original. And the band, Media Noche Honrado had us dancing in our seats! It was so refreshing to have such amazing service from all the staff, my parents were so pleased with everything. We cant wait to go back! Thank you to everyone who made our night so special, we appreciate all the hard work that went into it.

Fantastic jazz and good food. Was recommended this place by my barber and found my weekly hangout spot. My only complaint is the guests talk too loud over the live performance, but not much Nocturne can do.

Atmosphere was hip, prices were jive, man.Honestly had a great date nite albeit with a but. Music was engaging, delightful. Art Deco design was inspiring. Service was friendly. Drinks were superb. Food was good, but nothing to get excited about. Little bar tables with fixed vertical/flat back seating super uncomfortable after an hour. Prices, including artist fee, exorbitant. Not conducive to returning on a regular basis.

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The service was really slow to receive drinks and food but everyone had great attitudes and were very helpful. The jazz band was very powerful. Overall if you have the time check out Nocturne for an amazing experience!

This place was amazing. We are in town for just a few days and went here for a date night. I could come back to this place every night. The music and the atmosphere and the service are just fantastic. The drinks on the cocktail menue are amazing as well. This is a go to place from now on when I am in Denver.

The atmosphere is top notch, service was very friendly and the performance was impressive. All around an incredible night out, and i can’t wait to go back. We sat “at the bar” but the seats were still very nice and you are able to eat there. Not enough good things to say.

First time Nocturne visitor and I can tell you right now (while still sitting at my table) that I am in love with this place! The music is wonderful and enthralling. The atmosphere is warm, classy, and calm. Most of all the food and wine are excellent and the wait staff truly cares about the experience. All of the staff has been nothing but a pleasure to have around.

I was here on my birthday and I couldnt ask for a better place to celebrate. It is really good for couples and dinner for a small group of four. The place is small, but rather comfortable and well organized. The best part is that local musicians play here all the time!

Good music, good food, good service

We made a reservation during the week and I was overwhelmed with the experience. I didnt know there was a place with such a high level of service in Denver. Coats were checked, all the waiters helped all the customers, there was none of that silly partition of I only wait on my section, the staff was always moving poor things but it was worth it, my glass of water was never less than half full. The food was excellent I ordered the 3 meal course which was a brutatta with blue cheese and blueberry jam. The bread was warm and soft yet crispy. Followed by a salmon that just flaked off and the sauce was just rich and creamy I loved it. The music was great too, very impressed with the dedication, discipline and talent of the musicians playing for 2 hours before they took a break. The restaurant was very clean and main corridors had sufficient walking space. The bathrooms too were clean and fresh smelling. Overall my experience was one of a kind and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Delightful evening - excellent music accompanied by a fantastic selection of wines and specialty cocktails. Knowledgeable waitstaff always happy to answer any questions. Its RiNo, so plan to arrive ahead of time to look for parking, however, the Coors Field garage is only a couple blocks away. A reservation is recommended on a weekend night.

This place is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. Live jazz, the BEST cocktail I have ever had was enjoyed here - the Summer in Siberia. Beautiful surroundings and an incredible menu, conceived by the Chef as Improvisation. Just like Jazz. Do yourself a favor and take someone special here.

My goodness this place was amazing . The drinks were really good . Reasonably priced . If your on a budget probably this is not your place . Otherwise its a great excuse to come here and feel a classy environment w/out the pressure of dressing up super up scale . A lot of folks dress up with jeans and buttons ups .The band was so good, absolutely great . Jaw dropping good.I had the cauliflower steak and I nearly had a spiritual moment . Close your eyes and feel time slow down dramatically kinda food . The calamari was the Sh¡¡¡+ .Also I had a single barrel old fashion . Its worth every penny .Get some !

A really cool venue with an excellent selection of drinks and superb service. The atmosphere is further enhanced by the live bands they have playing every night. Note that food options, while really tasty, are limited to starters or a 3-course set, though it may be possible to negotiate with the servers if you want just one of the dishes from the set.

This place is outstanding. Music, service and cocktails were top and I didn’t even plan on checking it out. They made my favorite by request and it was bomb. Get the aviation! ️

Went here for their Christmas jazz. It was an awesome vibe and just what you expect from a “jazz club vibe.”

Great food, fantastic music.

I was very excited to find a good jazz club with a cool atmosphere and good food. Its a little pricey, but great for an occasional outting. Theres an alley right outside with lots of impressive street art, which adds a little something extra to the experience.

The food was amazing, the music from Nocturne regulars - Gabriel Mervine Sextet - was awesome. Service was spectacular. Cant recommend enough!!

I had the most incredible experience here for my 30th birthday in January. They had live jazz (some classic John Coltrane) and offered my date and I complimentary champagne for my birthday. It was a combination of a low key, intimate, cozy and classy atmosphere in an old brick building with good company that made it such a worth while experience. They didn’t mind my date and I spontaneously dancing in the middle of the dining hall.

Really enjoyed my visit here. Delicious food, an impressive bar with delicious cocktails and an amazing set up with the perfect combo of ambience and comfort.

Awesome place! Great interior decor, amazing live music, fantastic food. Highly recommend the tasting menus. I do not drink alcohol but the bar tender was kind enough to fix me a few surprise mocktails that were super delicious!

This place is a gem. The food was delicious. We had the chefs tasting menu, The Study of Clifford Brown. We also had a few cocktails that were well made and balanced so nicely. Service was top notch and can we talk about the music?! It was amazing. I am so grateful to have a place like this in our city. Dress up, watch and listen to incredibly talented musicians, drink great cocktails and have a nice dinner! Perfect Friday night.My tip, get a table at either 6:15 or 8:45, there are 2 sets of the night and they break between 7 and 8, so no live music at that time. We sat at 7 I think, or maybe 6:45. Wish we got their a little earlier or a little later.

Today is my second year anniversary. I chose this place because of the live music and great food reviews. Both were amazing, but it still wasn’t the best part. Our server Brian treated my wife and I like we were British royalty. Not only that, but he was so articulate in describing how each food would taste. I wish I was poetic enough to attempt to provide an example of how he described the food. He also provided us a complimentary appetizer so my wife would have something to snack on since I was the only one that did the five course meal. To top it all off, as we were walking to our vehicle we hear someone yell “You forgot your Cavatelli!” He brought us the leftovers we forgot on the table. The man ran 4 blocks to bring us out meal. I mean damn, I challenge someone to give me a better example of service. My wife is lucky she’s pregnant, because in the two years we’ve been married she’s never ran 4 blocks for me. Thanks Brian...you made me think for the first time in my life that I might be a Saudi Prince instead of the son of a Palestinian farmer. I swear this is 100% genuine.

I want to commend and thank the staff at this club as my daughter (age 5) and I stopped in to check things out while Digitech Denver finished our phone service and from the moment we entered, I had a feeling like it was probably a bit “nicer” than the attire we were in but I asked anyways, “is this a family friendly venue?”The receptionist was beyond welcoming and did not turn us away despite the evening’s attire and event, although he made sure I was aware that it was technically a bar/club/restaurant, which I was thankful for!This was easily the best accident we could have stumbled on as my daughter is still talking about it at bedtime. We felt like we stepped into a dream!!!Best daddy daughter date idea, we are dressing up and coming back for sure!Thank you to our waitress who was also so kind and accepting! What could have easily been an awkward situation, they made us feel at home here and I know we will never forget this night!

I celebrated my birthday here and had a fantastic time! Could have been an average Tuesday night but the bartenders were very friendly and knowledgable about drinks which made it very fun. The blueberry ice cream dessert was fantastic and was the perfect bite to end our night. The Talking Heads cover band was great and even my boyfriend, who claims to hate jazz, enjoyed it. Thanks for a good ending to my birthday!

It was a magical night. It was a special occasion and my husband took me there for a surprise. The Convergence band played that night and I was completely floored. The food was okay but the drinks were too good and the music took my breath away. Wish we had such magical moments in our life here and there.

Walk into this place and forget the outside world. Super fun.

This is a rather busy, urban experience. I have only been to this bar when they are packed. The entertainment is excellent, consisting mainly of jazz musicians from a local university. They have musicians in residence for a month or two often. Reservations are absolutely recommended.

All around top notch! Tuesday to Saturday be swept away by amazing, local jazz talent! The cocktail and wine list along with menu delight your palate and work for GF or Vegetarian nutrition needs.Definitely check out this place!

Fabulous. I hadnt been to the new location yet so it was a great experience. Great ambiance & decor. Was here for the Valentines Day special. Great dinner, drinks, staff & of course the music.

Maybe I just picked the wrong night but i was expecting something a bit more upscale. I feel the food and drinks were really over priced for what you get. 30% of the menu wasnt available. The music didnt start until 8pm. The band there played covers of popular hit tv shows themes with a jazz twist. Nocturne seems to be trying to be something special but it falls short. If youre looking for upscale dining and entertainment I would look elsewhere.
