Great people and great phptos

A few Denver galleries show fine art photography from time-to-time, but since the demise of Camera Obscura, Robert Anderson is the only gallerist in town to specialize in photography. His new location on East Colfax Avenue (just east of the Bluebird Theater) is filled with light and provides extensive display space. Robert has been seduced a bit by other art forms (there are some sculptures, paintings, prints, and mixed media pieces), but photography is the main focus.Robert Anderson first opened a gallery in Manhatten in 2011 after retiring from a prestigious career in medicine in 2010. He relocated the gallery to Denver in June 2013, but closed the original North Cherry Creek location in 2016. He reopened in the new Colfax space in June 2018.Robert has been collecting photographs since he was a young physician and has traveled the country visiting galleries and meeting photographers. He is very knowledgeable and is always eager to chat. The gallery shows top quality work and it is always a pleasure to visit.
