An excellent amusement park for children, there are a lot of different slides and attractions - everyone will have a place to throw out their energy and experience new emotions. There are a lot of places where you can have a good and tasty snack also, a lot of all kinds of snacks and goodies are sold in the park. The slides themselves can be enjoyed not only by children but also by adults it seems to me. For example, I rode a couple with children, and I quite liked it myself.

Good environment, fun times, long wait times for the rides but still a fun place. Recommend spending the extra $40-60 for the rapid ride pass makes riding the rides way better tho its only for 10 rides unlimited times tho. Food and beverages can be expensive so maybe pack a cooler and go to your car for lunch.

Good place for my 13 yo to go with her friends during the day in the summer. It keeps her out of more trouble than she wowuld get in being at home and the pass was affordable. Also, they give discount passes that the rest of the family can use during the summer, too . bottom line, day pass cost is ridiculous but season pass worth it.

Went to Elitch gardens on a Tuesday and the park was practically empty! Lines were very short and all of the staff was very friendly! I think the longest wait I had was 20 minutes for the mind eraser! Kids had a blast and for $40 to spend the day at a theme park and water park is a steal!!!! My son left his shoes in a dressing room In The surf shop after closing we realized it and the staff was more than willing to open it back up for us to get them! Theme park rides are a little dated, but not terrible! And the water park was great! Only complaint from me would be the food prices! Spent over $75 for 4 at a Panda Express! Overall great k!

I really enjoyed the park... But tottally disappointed by the park management teams... I got 2 parking passes with me...which my employer provided me and my friend...but When I reached the park...I roam about more than an hour to find parking space for 1 car... If they dont have enough parking spaces then why they sold too many parking passes! At last we parked our car at the road... The moment there I spent was really amazing... Beautiful place to be fresh, enjoy different kinds of rides...waterpark... This place is suitable for Couples, families & even with friends too...

Denvers amusement park. Kiddie Land, Island Kingdom Water Park, Picnic Pavilion (available by reservation) and lots of food and drinks. A cable swing and Sling Shot. Pictures taken for purchase. $20 parking (purchaseable online), $39.99 per adult. Have your hand stamped if you want to return on the same day. Buy tickets online and skip the ticket booth. The park was very clean. Restrooms were very clean. Maintenance and safety is a big concern to Elitchs as The Big Wheel (ferris wheel) was temporarily shut down for maintenance. We very much enjoyed our time at the park.

This place has gone down hill over the years. It just isnt the same anymore. Probably a third of the rides were closed. On a Sunday yes but a very busy and important weekend holiday. A few more shut down throughout the day for emergency maintenance. The water in the water park was freezing. Icy cold and miserable. It sucked all the fun out of going into the wave pool or going down any slide. Nearly whole of the park was dirty. Just downright filthy. I saw people walking around and picking up trash but despite all that, the park was still...dirty. The food was sub-par at best. At least the funnel cakes are poured and not pre-made and microwaved. Overall just an unpleasant experience. To think a few years ago I had a season pass. Now they cant even pay me to come there. P.S. You pay for everything. Parking, admission, water, the air, to continue living. It gets real old real fast.

The water park wasnt open yet but most of the park was closed and they closed at 4pm which is really early. Definitely look at the hours before going and their parking was a little confusing. I didnt understand why a lot of regular rides were closed. Overall the park had a standard theme park cleanliness. I think Ill continue with 6 flags because the amount of closed regular non water rides was ridiculous.

I bought season pass tickets back in February. The park has yet to open. I understand wanting to be cautious and safe during the pandemic but you need to refund people for the hundreds of dollars spent on tickets that are essentially useless. Oh, but youll give us free perks for the inconvenience, yes, free perks that CANNOT be used because youre not open. No one answers the phone and emails are not replied to. I guess disputing the charge with my bank is the way to go. Elitch needs to amend their refund policy during the pandemic. Stop stealing everyones money and do whats right. Our library had a summer program that provided Elitch gardens tickets to the kids as a prize for reading. Adults still had to pay $30. For the reduced price, this was a very reasonable investment! The kids loved the place. Plenty of entertainment for kids and adults all ages. Most rides are included in the entrance price, although a selected few are not. The lines are unavoidable but they werent too bad, especially on the Kiddieland rides for the younger ones. Water fountains are rare but available. Food is lacking: overpriced a great deal and no healthy options. Own food not allowed although they let up bring a few snack bars in. For the full price of $60 per person, probably not worth it. Try booking online for a better price. Parking is $20 but there are street parking options very nearby for $1/hr. Very little shade, prepare for a very hot day even in September, bring lots of water.

I purchased 4 season passes in February, before the pandemic kicked in. Because my family has high risk members, I have asked for a refund. I was told that they are not giving refunds since they plan to be open. I wasnt planning on not being comfortable attending a large amusement park this summer, and would like my money back. But Ive been told I can sit on their Refund request List until they decide if I can have my money back or not. The lady I spoke with was very friendly and I feel bad for her, since she has to field all these calls. But this is ridiculous!!

This place is great for kids but not so great for parents. The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the wait time on lines. You have to wait an hour just to ride rides. Very ridiculous. Its just like a big amusement park in a smaller space. This is our first year going and weve been 3 times now.We got the season pass, which is a great deal if you want to attend at least twice. The parking is free with the season pass, and you can come and go all day. We come with our 6 year old daughter.Pros: Kiddie land is really cool. Our girl loves the snipers nest, where you shoot guns from up high at the people down below. Its a popular game for a wide age range. There is a middle sized roller coster thats bigger than the baby ones, but smaller than the adult costers. We havent gotten to do the Meow Wolf (long line all in the sun) but it looks cool.Cons: Expensive food and long lines. There is also the 10 mile lightning strike radius that will shut down tall and water based rides (understandably) however it would be nice to TELL the people standing in a long line in the sun that the ride is shut down and it will be an unknown amount of time to start back up. We waited about an hour and a half for the Danger Canyon water ride and then it shut down. No one said anything. We stood there for another 15 or so minutes before we realized the line was no longer moving. We didnt see lightning so we had no clue. Finally we bailed and they told us, Oh yeah the ride is down. There was lightning. Nice.Remember its Colorado so almost every afternoon there is a little lightning somewhere.

Beverages and food is expensive as usual, $4 for a water $7 for a beer. Dip in dots are always great $8 for the large. Found it strange they confiscated my bandana upon entering due to it being gang related?? There were so many teenagers running around, cutting you off, so watch yourself and younger kiddos. The Rides did shut down due to lightning and thunder so that wasnt great. I do like they have somewhere to put your items when getting on most rides. Review №95

While there are still some thrills to be had, the park as a whole (or at least the amusement park side) is beginning to feel quite neglected. Its as if a late 90s Six Flags park was stripped of almost all of its theming and frozen in time - because, in effect, thats what happened. However, time never sits still. All of the true roller coasters - Boomerang, Mind Eraser, Sidewinder, and Twister II - have seen much better days. Its time to either renovate them or replace them, both to generate renewed interest in the park and to improve guest comfort and safety. I know it may sound strange to talk about comfort on roller coasters, but when you visit any other major amusement park, even the older roller coasters will be much smoother than any of the roller coasters at Elitch Gardens. Additionally, Twister IIs supports seem to move more under the cars momentum every time I visit the park. The parks marketing will have you believe they are constantly installing new rides. This is somewhat true. This years ride is a reskin of one that opened 11 years ago, and the general consensus from murmurs around the park is that while the new ride is a unique one-time experience, the old one was much better overall due to its consistency and the scoring system which encouraged competition and re-riding. Last years new ride is many years old and falsely marketed as a thrill ride due to its height when in reality its just a taller version of the circular swing ride near the parks entrance. 2017s new ride is just an admittedly much-needed resurfacing and a fresh coat of paint for a group of water slides. 2014s new ride, while one of the better rides added since Six Flags sold the park, is a carnival staple. With the exception of Ghost Blasters (now defunct) and Brain Drain, nothing significant has been added to the amusement park section of Elitchs in over 20 years. In fact, many fan favorites - such as the Flying Coaster; Shake, Rattle, and Roll; and Ghost Blasters - have been removed. The staff at the park do not seem well trained. Today, I spent 50 minutes in the almost-empty single-rider line for the Tower of Doom - 30 of them at the very front of the line - watching people behind me leave as they realized the ride operators were only letting groups in. After half an hour standing against the chain at the front end of the line, watching the ride operators completely ignore the single rider line, my patience wore off and I decided to leave. I went immediately to the Mind Eraser - arguably the best roller coaster in the park, and definitely one of the most popular - and was able to get through the line, ride the roller coaster, collect my things from the storage cubbies, and leave through the rides exit in just 20 minutes. This isnt an isolated incident - the parks security doesnt respond to reports, and the staff working front gate security dont know what to do when a metal detector is set off.Im also not a fan of the recent changes to the dining hall. Way to kill any semblance of theming the park had left! The food itself is also MUCH worse now than it was a few years ago.Ive been a season pass holder for 11 years. If things dont improve soon, I dont see myself buying another pass.Ive heard rumors that Elitchs is moving to a new plot of land near the airport in the coming years. I am cautiously optimistic that they will use this as a chance to rethink the park.Parking could be a lot cheaper and food could be a bit cheaper as well, but these are both normal for amusement parks. The new food trucks are actually great, especially the Belgian wafel truck! This is the one recent change that I support. If you want to visit the park more than once per season, buy the season pass. It is cheaper than buying two single-day passes.

Love Elitches but I still miss the old one with the bubble gum trees and log ride! But its worth getting the season pass... saves a ton of money! #makingMEMORIES #SUMMERFUN #THINGSTODOINCOLORADO

This place is amazing!!!!. So many fun activities to do, their rides are amazing and the water park is out of this world. They are all spaced close together so you dont have to walk a long distance from one ride to another. I loved the variety and the thrill.I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I totally recommend it. I suggest you spend the whole day there because there is a lot of fun things to choose from

Great park with fun rides. Food is acceptable and prices are reasonable. Had a fun time here. Especially for being a 12 year old. The park had a great season

Love spending Sunday Funday here. The season passes are well worth it♡♡ The kiddos love it and thats what matters. Although, they do need to get their meal plans working right...
