Worked there about three years as a swim instructor and a lifeguard. Awesome management and safe for family and children. I miss that place!

This has always been a must go every summer when in Denton! The park is clean, there are always plenty of lifeguards on duty and very vigilant! Its not very expensive for all you and your children want to do either!

I wasnt really impressed with this water park. The water was dyed blue, which makes me wonder what color is the actual water? It required everyone to wear life vests which is great!!! However, there were not enough life vests for toddlers or youths (at least on the day we went). Bottom line up front, its just okay at best.

We had a blast! My sister got a party package for my niece and it was nice to have everything provided. We got there early and stayed until a storm kicked us out and we all had a great time- from the 1yo to the grandparents. The slides and the wave pool were a hit. Big enough to offer some different options and small enough to not be over whelming.

Perfect place to spend a Summer day with the kids! Theres plenty of parking space, swimming areas are extremely clean and personnel very friendly!

This place is perfect for the summer days! There are plenty of different pools areas and activities to do here for all ages. There is plenty of seating and table areas both sunny and shaded. The bathrooms are very clean. The food is affordable. I had a small incident at the wave pool concession stand over some water but another staff member who was standing by took care of it for me and afterwards a manager Monica found me in the park and apologized with a free bottle of water. Speaks volumes over their customer service! I am definitely getting the season pass!!

I do the water aerobics classes here and I love it....I havent been back since the usual girl was supposed to be making a change but the manager handled it swimmingly and when he taught the class it made me want to upgrade from a monthly membership to a yearly!

Totally awesome fun!

Not too big, not too small. Just right. Kids love the slides. I love the lazy river. We all love the wave pool.Now that my kids are older, the season pass seems moat appropriate. Cost less than a pool and upkeep. They get the socialization they crave and the exercise they need.

This place is so awesome. Its a little pricey but you really get what you pay for they continue to make improvements to this place every year. I love the wave pool.

Ive been coming here since I was a little kid. They havent changed much since then but its still fun to go to during the summer. I love swimming around the lazy river. Its only 3 ft deep so if you want you can walk, swim, or float on/in a tube. They added a wave pool. The waves are really strong and the pool goes to 6 ft so Id be careful if you arent a strong swimmer or have little kids. Try to stay in the shallow area. They have a few slides and a place for kids. Last time I went the edge of the kids area was really slippery. My sister fell and hurt her knee and scraped her arm and my nephew fell and hurt his knee. Let alone I saw 3 or 4 other people who fell from slipping on the edge. I would have given 4 stars but I think they should fix it so it isnt such a hazard to people.

My kids love this water park better than Hawaiian falls because of how big the waves are in the wave pool. The trade-off is youre not allowed to have tubes in the wave pool, but its well worth it. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because they removed the tarp over the chairs (due to a storm?) leaving no good place around the wave pool to be in shade other than having to pay for a cabana.

Fun place for families . Indoor and outdoor pool area which is helpful for this part of Texas ! The lifeguards were all incredibly alert and extremely sweet and helpful with the little ones! 5 stars most definitely. Id request a evening family night once a week or so .... those were always so awesome.

We got there right when it opened. The park is great for small children and there are several lifeguards in every pool. Which is great! The water is not to ceep at kiddie pool, which is a plus. Plenty of lockers and trees for shade to sit under for picnics.There are also free life jackets for the kids.

Had a blast going here with the friends and family! My best friend just had his 6 year olds birthday party here. It was awesome! Totally recommend it for visits and for a great choice for your next childs birthday party!

Well its a favorite local watering hole for kids & adults alike. They have 2 or 3 tall water slides, a fun and relaxing lazy river w tubes for riding it, a kiddie park designated just for tiny toys. After the summer theres a Natatorium for lap and pool swimming year around. There are truly or monthly memberships and to be honest if you live here and have kids or love to swim its worth buying a pass. Theres a huge free well lit parking lot. Theres a little store for water drinks and snacks during the season. Changing rooms. Check online for current pricing & schedule.

Was a wonderful day with my daughter, the park was clean and seemed well maintained.

Our company sponsored a 2 hour Employee and Family Evening. Fun was had by all. The employees of the Water Works Park were all friendly and courteous. Would recommend this place to anyone or company fora fun and enjoyable time.

I had fun but its kind of pricy and then they add $2.00 if your out of state per person.I guess that makes up for the scewing we give them when they come up and visit our CASINOS. Oh well! If were not careful we will all get burnt.lol

They need to change their google business hours because they are not reflected accurately. Also, they should be open earlier on the weekend. The late opening sucks for the little ones that still take a nap in the middle of the day. Pretty good local water park that could make some simple changes that would make it outstanding.

First time there was awesome! I expected it to be crowded but not at all. We were able to go down the slides multiple times with little wait time (5 min max). My daughter was super scared about going down the slide but the life guards have this system going on where they tell each other if there is a child going down the slide who needs to be caught at the bottom which is awesome. This way my daughter was able to participate. I did get hurt though. I dont know who was at fault but I got stuck going down the tallest slide. I was not sliding like I should so I had to push myself. I was still not out when I heard someone coming down. They hit me really hard. After that we just stayed in the lazy river.

Water Works is a great place to cool off. Its not special or big, but its a nice regardless. Theres a couple of waterslides, a lazy river, a kids water area/pool, a wave pool, and an indoor pool. My favorite part is the wave pool. The waves are bluer, rougher, and feel closer to how the ocean would feel than most other wave pools. My family had a great time here.

Brought our own snacks. Took my granddaughters ages 10, 6, and 4. They all had a fabulous time...we went during Twilight special...$36 for all 4 of us to swim from 4-7pm. The girls loved the wave pool!!

Nice place to cool off on hot summer days. They REALLY NEED more tables, though. No spaces available, unless you get there EARLY, when they open...

While not the best by any means, still pretty nice. Some slides need a little work as the transition between pieces can be a little rough on a few of them, but it was still a fun place, the wave pool is prettu epic

I loved the fact that they have plenty of lifeguards everywhere. I was at the kiddie pool and notice that if they blew their whistle, they would go to that child and let them know what they did wrong and i liked that!

Great place for family time... the large slide is rough on your back... but fun!

The family and I really enjoyed ourselves. Four water slides, a lazy river and a part where little kids can go get wet and enjoy themselves. Not really big out here but big enough to have fun. Staff was friendly and helpful. Admission was $11 but prices are going up because they are about to add a wave pool next month in July. Life jackets and tubes are free to anyone who wishes yo use them. It was hot outside so beware of the Texas heat. Other than that, we had a blast.

Would be a five star, but you better call before you go and find out if lap pool is closed for water polo or something else. Because check in counter didnt tell us that lap pool closed in 15 minutes, after we paid to get in...

Really cool place in Denton. They have a kids area, several slides, a lazy river, a wave pool and even an indoor pool with slide. The location is easy enough to get to and most of the time its not too packed with people. Its worth an afternoon at the least and my family have been getting the season pass since we tried it out.

I love this indoor pool! Deep pool.for laps, diving and swimming. They also have a shallow kids pool with a slide that is usually heated. What I love most is that they let us, mermaids swim and have pod meet ups! Havent been to the outdoor area but we have bought summer passes. Clean locker rooms and swim areas. Attentive lifeguards and friendly staff

Great place for summer fun with kids. Expensive if you do daily and you are over 48 inches tall. Didnt like that most covered areas cost money to use.

This place was super fun. Tips: wear sandles, flip flops, or water shoes when walking around. The concrete gets really hot. For pregnant people the safest ride is the orange slide. Ride the others at your own risk. Anyone wondering about bringing a grill, i dont see anything that says you cant just as long as theres no glass, alcohol, tobacco, or e-cigarettes. Have fun.

I had a horrible embarrassing experience at this water park. I had the staff kick me, my friend and my little sister out because our swim suit cut was apparently inappropriate. They told us we had to either put a staff shirt on or leave and when we asked for our money back they refused to give it back. We called up there to ask to speak to a manager very politely and was told I couldn’t speak to a manager and was hung up on. They offered us new day passes if we don’t wear our swimsuits again but refused to give me my money back. I will never return to this establishment again .

This place is great. Park is clean for the most part and there is plenty to do. Stay the whole day or just a few hours.

Great Place For Fun In The Sun With Your Family

For a community water park, this place is as good as it gets! The wave pool has a great gradual slope that makes great curls. The slides are thrilling enough to enjoy but not too intimidating for the kids. The lazy river is well paced and doesnt take forever to go around. Be sure to have swim shoes for the burning concrete and watch out for yellow jackets in the lockers. Bathrooms could use a bit more attention as well.

I dont know the price bc we were part of a bday party but the place is great for all day fun. Kids wont get bored

Where else can you go for lap swimming and water therapy? Great staff is available to help and I really enjoy my time doing water therapy even on the coldest of days.

We had an awesome time!! Our first time being there and love the fact that you can bring a cooler, that right there will get my business away from hurricane harbor since you cant there. My only concern was the life guard that was at the slides for the last 30min before closing time (7:00) at the bottom wasnt doing good, me and another adult had to yell for him to grab a child that was struggling.

No complaints. They increased the price. Wave pool is fun. I question the frequent shut down of the wave pool to dump chemicals in it? Whats up with that. Any kid in a swim diaper needs to stay in the kid area. Who invented swim diapers? E. Coli?Its a disgusting idea. Slides are fun.

Concession stand’s customer service was very poor. I waited 30 minutes for THREE hotdogs on a Tuesday and they weren’t even busy. Don’t get me wrong I totally understand the fast food environment from working around it for a couple of years, but to wait 30 minutes for something so simple is ridiculous. Not to mention the people working in the back were playing around. Also, a young girl who was a lifeguard that works there tried ordering food in the wrong lane and the Hispanic younger lady that was working rudely said “ok you’ll have to order that” (lifeguard was in line under the pick up lane). So unprofessional and rude.

Open swim inexpensive and not crowded.Three dollars. Often only three or four peopleIn the pool. Call for times, ask if closedfor swim meets. Also has a diving boardand an indoor water slide. Pools are small.Winter staff is very, very nice.This only applies only to during school year.Summer is crowded and expensive, butbest I can find in the area. Outside area isopen then. Outside has several nice features,but other water parks are much nicer, ifYou dont mind driving and paying more.

Clean, cool, and great location. The only sore spot was the 30+ minute wait to receive our food order.

This place is really fun but also pretty dangerous. The bathrooms are smelly and dirty, the wave pool is fun but it flips you you upsidown at the end, and the concrete is burning hot. This place is really fun for kids but the only down side about that is the fact that big kids come to the baby pools and hurts little children. Also the high diving board is always closed so the only ones that are open are the small ones.

I had an awesome time with my friends. We all had fun and we enjoyed every moment. We are planning another trip to come guys. Dont worry

Love everything.prices.the lazy river is the perfect size and never crowed.the slides are safe for my oldest.the shaved ice.dipping dots and snow cones.you can buy anything you forget.the bathrooms are large and clean and not even very hot like normal.the kiddie area is perfect too!!and all the promotions are awesome.

Cheap alternative to big parks. Clean facility and allows you to bring own food.

My partner and I are doing independent water aerobics 3 days a week. Its usually best to go about 12:20 -1:00pm. The pool is perfect in cooler weather to meet our needs. There are a fair amount of older swimmers sprinkled with children now and then. Every one is polite and shares the space.

A magnificent venue to take joy in swimming year round. The park is diminutive but still rather enjoyable. The indoor section has a high dive and spring boards in the main pool and a slide into the kiddie pool for your children.

The prices are great for the indoor and outdoor pool. Our family loves getting together and coming here during their off seasons and especially during the summer. They offer three different water slides, the lazy river, and a childrens area to play for the little ones. Such an awesome place ;)

Great local experience! If you live in the surrounding Denton area, this water park is a great place to be. Lockers are cheap and the concession is good too. Awesome wave pool and 3 great slides. Also a very forgot about you troubles lazy river! Just kick back and relax!

Your sites hours are still wrong. Sat there for an hour, called office was told they were no longer open. Asked the nice young lady if she could please change hours online and she told me they would. This was 2 weeks ago. Still says they are open. Get it together guys.

Great place to come and stay cool in the summer Texas heat! But it can also get really crowded as well.. ended up waiting in line for a ride on the slide for like half an hour . But still worth the trip the life guards are great too.

Took my whole family nine people paid 135.oo dollars but thats not the problem what their admission prices dont tell u that if u live outside of Denton u get charged 2 dollars per person I think that is discrimination at its worst will never go back go to hurricane harbor they dont charge extra just cuz u live out of town
