Excellent place to workout! Great staff!

Every event Ive attended at this establishment, from Breakfast with the Easter Bunny to the free Halloween carnival, Ive been impressed with. The employees and volunteers are amazing! During the most recent event we went to, my husband and son ended up with their picture in the Denton Record Chronicle!

Love volunteer work for Halloween.

Has been a pillar in my community for as long as I can remember. Love this place!!

Thank you to your staff!! My daughters wedding reception went off with out any problems or complaints!! I appreciated the help at the end while mopping. Much thanks!!

My daughter and I really enjoyed the Halloween Carnival, we look forward to going to more events there.

My family loves this place. If you ever go there and experienced Mr Bobby you would have experienced a very wonderful and happy individual. Hes very welcoming along with the staff and I feel safe knowing that my children are hanging out there. The summer camp program is awesome for the Little Campers. They get to go on lots of little field trips and experience so much. Miss Rosa and Miss Caitlin are very nice and loving to the children. I could not have asked for a better Recreational Center. This is what tax dollars is all about.

I love going there I love going to church there is wonderful place

Son had a birthday party here, it was great fun for the kids.

The staff here is very friendly. With other rec centers, I always felt like I was bothering them. At MLK I felt welcome and it seemed like it was a warmer, safer atmosphere. Looking forward to taking my nieces next time I go.

The staff was helpful and informative. I enrolled my son in their annual pass program and he wanted to stay the whole day.

This place has really evolved over the years. They offer a lot more programs and its a good place to host an event.

Its an okay place kids off the streets playing ball exercising playing pool and more thats a good thing! However there are those disrespectful homeless drinking liquor on the property passing weed thats sad!! In the pool room in front of the kids. It was my first time visiting and I paid $3 for a day pass but dont think I would go back. I told the Caucasian woman at the desk but she didnt seem to care what they were doing. She was more worried about the young kids playing pool who were under 14 years of age. Note the drug users wanted their privacy and went to complain to her about the kids being in there. Around 5:20 pm. Sad world.

Friendly staff and adequate areas for basketball and childrens parties

This place is a wreck Center for Familys. it has a basketball court, a workout gym and arcade room that is free for the kids with a pool table, a computer room and many other rooms that are offer. But what I like most of all, if you were to try to sell Plates. you can cook there without having a business license.

Its just a good Rec

Great place with great management! Mr. Bobby is well respected and gracious! Mens open gym on Mon/Wed 11am-2pm. Come see if you can hang!!!

Ive been excercising at MLK for the last 4 months and I can say the clerks are the sweetest and most helpful humans. Thanks MLK!
