The Selby house is a great piece of Americana. I love how they change up the house with the seasons.

Totally free, and an amazing slice of history. The Quakertown house was really something else. It had information about just normal people. The kind of people who really lived there. It was incredible

This place has adiquate parking and on the lot are 3 old historically correct homes from the 1800-1900s. They are now museums you can visit. Theres a farmers market there on the weekends.

This is one of my favorite buildings in denton. The old timey look and history behind it reminds us of how far weve come as a city.

We visited the Bayless Selby house for a story tour, and were excited to hear of all the new Historical sites being brought into the Park. We are so blessed to have free access to the fascinating history of Denton!

Beautiful two acre park just three blocks from the Downtown Denton Courthouse on the Square. Its home to Dentons largest outdoor market: the Denton Community Market every Saturday April - November @ 9am - 1pm. Georgeous landscaping of edibles, herbs and native species cared for by Denton County and the Denton County Master Gardeners. The park is also home to the historic Bayless Selby House Museum, the Quakertown House and a third historic home that acts as the parks downtown visitor center. Its such a lovely place just off the square with gardens, shade, grassy lawn and plenty of free parking.
