Good small wooded area.Nice place to reflect and spend time alone or with your significant other.
Great Park with easy walking paths, nice facilities and parking. The green spring is beautiful you can view it from both sides. The spring does put off a faint sulphur smell but nothing overwhelming. There are two small alligators that live in the spring. The green color is really beautiful. The other great thing about this park is if you walk or bike ride to the back it connects to a large shaded paved trail that is probably 12 wide. When you reach the trail if you go to the left it is the Spring to Spring trail which is pretty at first and then it follows the road and ultimately takes you to the Blue Springs State Park. Taking the trail to the right is the Rail Trail which is quite beautiful and shaded you can ride for miles and see lots of wildlife. I highly recommend going to this park.
Great Park when theres people around if youre looking for a place to go to jump off a tree into water with alligators its great
Greén Springs is a beautiful place to step into nature and step back into time. The tree canopy provides plenty of shade for an enjoyable walk. I would highly recommend this park for a walk. Restrooms are available also.
Nice but people were jumping in. I like to chill. Decent spring.
Beautiful environment. With parking and a convenient connection with one of the bike trails of Central Florida
Easy to get to, FREE! and a nice easy walk to the springs and nearby creeks. Lots to see. Family friendly
Love the water and nice trials! There was a few gators! This is a non swimming spring, I’ve seen people swimming but there’s lots of wildlife in the water.
Beautiful little park and its right on the walking trail.
All the little side trails around the main attraction is pretty cool to take kids down cuz you get to experience all kinds of little animals and bugs and insects and trees and bushes and excetera
Great park to check out in Deltona/Osteen area. Free! Real Green Springs. No swimming aloud.
It is nice for quick stop and enjoy your nature time
Nice clean covered picnic area. 6 long tables under shade trees and covered with roof. Spring just a short walk down a paved path. Very nice and clean one person restrooms. Great place!
Very nice trail with little places to explore with kids. Cute playground and picnic area as well.
Beautiful ancient Oaks overhang the spring source. Very mineral rich water, slight sulphur smell. Nice small trail network with running streams in a few places. Always nice and cold water.
This is a great little park that is very close the nature. This park connects to a much longer paved paths to bike, walk, jog, etc. I got to see a baby gator in the main green pond but it hid when trying to get a picture along ways away. The mosquito are out already.
Parked at Green Springs Park to be able to bicycle a small portion of the Spring to Spring Trail. The shade and nature provided by the foilage is great.
Beautiful place for a bike ride or walk. Overhanging trees provide shade and the spring is beautiful
Beautiful striking waters. Does smell like Sulphur though so if youre sensitive to those things, I would not recommend. If you look closely in my picture, theres a juvenile alligator lazing in the waters. Very peaceful place. There is a sign that prohibits swimming in waters.Theres also a playground near the entrance. It was closed when I went but it looks like it could entertain the kids for a minute.
The bike trail was great, very well kept. The playground was a great add on for something to do before we headed home.
Nice and quiet.Clean bathroomWell groomed trails
Quiet park to walk around bring your kids.
So if you are a out of state runner looking for a nice long trail then search no more, this is it. The most beautiful park ever! I saw a chameleon and oranges laying on the ground which I never see being from Ohio. They have nice restrooms and picnic area with a water fountain. You feel like youre in the Amazon rain forest! I loved it!
Beautiful Park..a little stinky by the water..but still beautiful
I absolutely love this park. I go here at least once a week to walk the trails and enjoy nature. Its peaceful and very shaded.
Really nice park. Accessible area right by the spring with good views. There are trails coming off the main spring walkway and a nice playground for kids.
Super great place to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Bryson loves jumping into spring from the tree. Not supposed to but the locals tend to....
Beautiful park, great scenery and hidden streams. Only thing I can critic on is the playground. It would be nice for it to be more toddler friendly.
Free !!! Nice walk ways always a cute lil gator in the water ! It’s clean and has a nice park and tables as well . Conveniently located
Good place to see tropical Florida with family.
Beautiful park! The water is amazing! Would be perfect if disrespectful children wouldnt have their music blasting & jumping off trees into the water. I guess they cant read the No Swimming signs. Ruined the serenity of the spring. Otherwise, its an unbelievably beautiful place.
Its a great place to walk and enjoy the natural natures of Floridas Spring lots for trails and playground for the kids. Great picnic area.
Beautiful place. Serene, lots of birds. Nice trails; paved and not paved. Ill be back!
Right on a nice bike trail. Fun area to explore.
A very pretty park for walking or hiking, featuring the exotic looking Green Spring. Its also dog friendly for leashed pets.
Absolutely gorgeous park. I loved it. Lots of greenery and canopy to keep you cool.
Cute little park and playground . Wish there was more to see though .
Never seen anything like this place. Gorgeous. Had a blast with my family.
Beautiful little park with picnic tables, playground, restroom and walking trails.
Its nice, but they dont really have signs marking the trails, so its difficult to navigate. Its free, though do thats a plus.
Amazing sulphur springs, trails thru tall oak woods, and a boardwalk along the swamp
So peaceful, little alligator lives in the spring,
I love walking the paths here- its never been overly crowded, its free to enter, and very pretty. There are restrooms, trash cans, covered picnic pavilions and a playground near the parking. Both the springs and woods are very pretty. Google maps will shoot you past the entrance at Green Springs Road if you are approaching from the west on Enterprise Osteen Road, watch for the sign! It is easy to drive past.
Great little park with a truly green spring
Great place to walk around and enjoy Florida nature. I brought my dog here and he loved the trails. I love the history around this spring too! And its free to visit.
The green spring is very pretty and there are some covered trails (very short) leading to the broad road that can go for some miles east or west. It is perfect for cycling and running, but if looking for an interesting walk with some good stuff to see along the way, going west it is only about 5-10 minutes walk before you are alongside the road. So, we decided to head back at that point and go to a different park for a walk. There are restrooms and a pavillion close to the parking lot. I would recommend definitely for cycling but wouldnt return unless I have a bike myself.
Gorgeous and peaceful place to bike, walk or just sit and ponder. Lots of wildlife. Even has a playground for the kiddos. Must visit!
A great place to go for a walk and a great place to take photos. Sometimes you can find little alligators in the water.
Lovely spring the smell wafting of eggs was lovely
Very very nice and relaxing trail.
A nice walk. Lots of shade for walking even on the hottest days.
Perfect scenery. Tranquil, great to walk, bike or just enjoy
Green Springs is rich in history and one of Volusias best natural resources. The sulfury emerald green spring is as green as can be with two absolutely beautiful oak trees growing curiously above it.Connecting the Spring to Spring and Rail Trials this parks seeing lots of renewed interest. There ought to be security though. Revelers, young and old, profane teens and skinny dipping seniors like to make this their own personal private watering hole despite rules against it, signage and warnings. Sucks.
These beautiful bits were taken in December, just before Christmas. It is a sweet treat to come here and enjoy nature. All photos were taken by Ginette Hightower. Thats me!
Did the spring to spring trail with the family. Easy riding and a nice change of pace. Green springs pretty neat to see. Couple gators there too!
This is a few calm and peaceful park.
A very well maintained city park, not the biggest but nice trails and decent bathrooms and playground
Totally random and unexpected visit while i was waiting for someone at SFB for few hours. The walkin to the spring and the actual green algae spring itself is amazing and out of the world. Must visit this secret gem.
This is a great trail to bring the family as well as dogs! They have a small playground and a lot of benches overlooking water which are nice. It is a great place to bring a picnic. It does need a little TLC as there is a lot of trash along the route. Also dog poopie bag stations are not refilled often so bring your own.
The beauty of the glowing green of the Springs is enticing to say the least. I love walking the trails and looking straight up to tip tops of the large trees and gorgeous Palms. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors this is the place. Make sure to go off on the side trails that branch on and off the main path. Walking, running and biking
Nice place to visit...no swimming, but nice to walk around!
Hidden gem of a park where you can bike the east Central rail trail / spring to spring trail
Super cool spring to view, majestic! Lots of trails & park to play for kids.
Beautiful, and the springs makes the air cool even in the heat of the day during summer!
Simply an amazing place to visit!
Beautiful spot to walk or bike ride, and nice and quiet. I love that there are spots all over the park to sit down and take in nature.
Didnt get to swim but beautiful views.
Love this place for walking and bicycle riding. Beautiful green pond.
Second visit. We parked here last year to ride the bike trail. This year we were riding the trail and stopped here for a quick break. No one was at the spring at 10 am on a Sunday morning. Bathrooms clean. Moderate amount of parking. Very shady so a good stop along the bike trail.
Beautiful location. Very peaceful.
Great little park with very nice trails. Nice amenities for a fun afternoon.
It was awesome fell in the water lol but it was okay 100% recommended found a frog and more nature
What an amazing place to explore and connect with nature and trails.
Nice little spot with some walking and bike trails, a pretty little spring that usually has a small gator in it.
B-e-autiful.Boardwalks, bicycle trails, lake, river, bridges, small town community.
Dont get lost here.
It’s not a big park, but it’s still a nice place.
Super cool and relaxing, gets crowded sometimes. At least before Covid.
Beautiful areas around Lake Monroe!
A great place to be a free spirit
Very neat place to see. Great to bring the kids to with a playground for them.
Absolutely beautiful spot! Very relaxing and wonderful.
Really well kept park, with restroom. Has a nice playground for kids and both concrete trails as well as a few dirt trails. The perfect stroll to experience nature and feel far away. Many plaques with historical info too
Easily the prettiest spring in central florida.. definitely my favorite.
Green springs Park has been a favorite of mine since discovering it about 10 years ago.Beautiful, it almost 100% shaded buy huge palms, oaks, Spanish moss and other foliage, yet the hiking, walking or biking has no foliage to concern you. With beautiful interlaced paved and packed dirt trails that meander through a miniature jungle setting, every visitor gets a true taste of Floridas wild without the bushwhacking.Theres a huge pavilion and restrooms near the parking area and a decent playground within walking distance from that pavilion. playground is not visible from that large pavilion but there are picnic tables set up around the playground area as well as throughout the entire park.Facilities and grounds are very well maintained. And of course, there are the springs, beautiful green, unswimmable, amazing photo opportunities or just a great place to relax and reflect .And the one thing that completes this as a perfect park for me, is that the trails connect to one of the rail trails which run for miles.for me its a full day of fun or just the place to go if I have an hour to decompress.
Fun place to go if you love the outdoors!Beautiful place to bring your family. Hiking trails, play ground, picnic areas .
Great hiking and biking trails. Theres a playground for kids. Absolutely beautiful scenery, breathtakingly gorgeous spring. The public restrooms were very clean, my children commented on how good they smelt. There is a covered picnic area, too. The only downside is no swimming, but its perfect for other activities.
Good Smoke spot!Water smells like sewage : (
My absolutely favorite Park in Deltona! I love this place! Beautiful trees, fresh air, long paved walking and biking trails, clean and beautiful!
Absolutley beautiful park.
So surreal and a nice easy walk enjoying nature.
Its great to have this beautiful park nearby, its relaxing and inviting. Disconnect for a little from the daily grind and walk the trails, be alert (*snakes are rare, but have been seen*) and if you have your loyal four legged companions please monitor what they are sniffing. Note: Watch your step! That outer trail has a few cumbersome tree roots.
Great place to start a trail ride.
