The best planet fitness in the city that we’ve ever been. Even tho is a little farther but we prefer to come here over the others.

I cant thank Margie and her staff enough. They made a long hard road a lot easier and shorter with the best results. Whenever I had a question they always had the answer. Its funny cause they would always tell me Im doing good, to me they are the ones doing good cause IM just following their instructions.

Hi, I’ve been a member for round 10 years. I’ve had nothing but helpful services from all the staff. I’ve had a back problem and the staff, Brynne especially, has always been there for me and my concerns.They’ve been updating the gym for some while now. Ya it is expensive but worth it for all it does for a client. The only bad thing I have to say involves the chiropractor, Josh Helm, keep away. He used his machine on my back and I’ve been in pain for 1.5 years. He has nothing to do with the gym itself however because of his location it’s easy to just see him there if you’re a member. Please, if you value you back health Stay Away. He knows as much about chiropractic practices as Trump does about how to treat this virus!! Member Tom Mount. Love the gym and staff.

Great atmosphere to complete my workouts. A terrific staff which is very attentive. Quality equipment and very clean in every way. Enjoy coming to this place. Affordable rates.

DHAC is a really outdated mediocre health club. Membership fees are on the high side. Guest fees are absurdly high. Staff is generally clueless and inconsiderate. There are lots of activities here (karate dojo, kids club, climbing wall, mini water park). Lots of tennis courts and court fees are very reasonable, but courts are rarely cleaned. The gym is large and they have recently put in new equipment. Locker rooms/showers are dingy and in disrepair (broken shower heads, no hot water, smelly carpeting, no soap, etc). No towels. There are just so many nicer clubs around.

This is a great gym. Its not part of a big chain, but rather owned by real people who try their best to give customers a good experience. Ive seen a few negative reviews out there, but in my experience Ive been really happy here. Even if its a lot more expensive than Planet Fitness, I definitely feel I get my moneys worth. Clean, good value, friendly.

The summer club pool really needs some scrubbing. Saw dirt and poop in water, no one who worked there cared! Neither did the hundreds of kids swimming in the filth ! No wonder the diseases caused by pools are exploding exponentially ! Don’t let your kids near the place!

I have been a member of Dedham health and athletic complex for the last 16 years. The services offered by this facility are extensive. The best way to see it is schedule a visit and see for yourself.I highly recommend the physical therapy services as Margie and her staff have kept me upright and mobile!

Dedham has something for everyone. I really like going for the tennis, you cant beat the court time fees and there are 11 courts, which is crazy. On the side there is a basketball court and two pools for me to cross train in. It definitely costs more than Planet Fitness but the cost is worth it for me.

Generally, a good health club. For a person who uses mostly some exercise equipment and tennis courts it is expensive. Descount for seniors would be nice.

After being a member here for 4 years I finally had to end my contract and move on to another gym. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed my time here and the facilities and some of the staff are great and the equipment and pools etc are well maintained and updated consistently. What was not appreciated especially for a member as long as I have been one, was the fact this place increases its dues for members without telling you they are doing it. Over the course of 4 years my dues went up an average of $20 per year and the last increase was almost $30. According to the membership department, this is hidden language in your contract that they can freely increase dues whenever they want. Besides the fact you pay what amounts to a car payment for a Family Membership and then on top of that to even get in 3 car payments plus annual dues. Then if you want to add swimming lessons for the kids or any specialty classes there are more fees on top of this. If you want to join their Summer Club, try adding on another $2000 for the summer which is outrageous. After all of the money I shelled out and the actual use I got out of this place, it is in the end not worth the money for what you get.

Steve Lempert, the general manager, is horrible person. He is very condescending although he my think that one does not notice his elitist attitude and his superiority complex it is very apparent.

Awesome swimming pool and great swim team!

Older facility compared to some of its competitors in the $100+ a month membership range. Still, this center is clean, has plenty of activities to do, and is staffed with friendly personnel.

Dedham Health and Athletic Complex has a very convenient setup for families - youth center, kids classes - and also a vibrant self-defense program via American Kenpo (Kempo) Karate
