The President of the Decatur Historical Society just happened to be there and showed is around! He was super nice and very knowledgeable.

Lots to learn and great to watch passing trains

Went to the historic meeting and learned a lot about the historic areas in Decatur.

A cool place to visit and a great place to watch trains as the Norfolk Southern and CSX lines converge there to cross the Tennesse River.

This is a wonderful place to visit and learn the history of the southern railroad and the important part the railroad plays in todays economy.

I like it so much that I am a dosent 10:00 to 3:00

Great railfanning with nonstop trains! I saw 3 trains in 1 hour, 2 in 20 minutes!

Unfortunately was closed because of the New Year holiday but its a very nice little complex.
