Beautiful new facility. Visited for business so can’t comment on the use of the space but the campus was spacious and a wonderful addition to downtown Decatur.

My first visit was to view the exhibit of art of the Bankhead. Not only was I very pleased with the amazing art, I was astonished at what a beautiful facility this arts center is. The lighting was perfect, the outdoor spaces were calming, and the staff was informative and very nice.

Calhoun put on Romeo and Juliet and it was an amazing performance in a cozy auditorium for a small audience. The way the stage is set up let the play be interactive.

Im actually a student there, we have a gallery in the building that changes its exhibits fairly frequently so its a pretty an interesting place to stop by if your just passing through. As a student I have no complaints, Im getting a fantastic education with them.
