Great venue for this special event. So many missed the opportunity to Sip and Shop on Saturday night. The facility is great and had everything we needed.

Every time I go there the performances are outstanding and well organized. The feeling I get when I go, is so lively and very entertaining. It feels like we have our own piece of Broadway in our own community, and I love it.

Its user friendly. The bathrooms are clean, the box office is open the day of events and the people attending events are welcoming.

Great venue! I did a show here, and did pretty well! The traffic was great, I didnt expect so many people!

There is so much energy going on. The gift shop had a lot of beautiful items. I really enjoyed my time there.

Beautiful theatre, amazingly large for a municipality. We had center mezzanine and the view was perfect. Seats were comfortable and the rise between rows made for an unobstructed view. The lobby is lovely with a circular staircase, a great place for photos. For our show they offered a cash bar which was very nice.

If you like the programming then this is an excellent venue to see a play or concert. Easy to get to, easy to park and easy to enter. Clean bathrooms. Very limited concessions.

Good quality theater, although it is interesting that there is a fitness facility in the same building as the theater. Seating area was well kept and clean. The backstage has a nice set up, although the dressing rooms are a little far from the actual stage entrances. This is a great theater for smaller professional shows and performances.

When I was a little girl growing up in Dearborn, this property was called The Youth Center. There was roller skating, ice cream, and check-out games. Over the last fifty years or so, the land has been redeveloped into a theater, gallery, gym space with outdoor fields for soccer, etc. We were there last Tues. (Oct 30, 18) to watch my grandsons middle schools jazz band perform (Of course, my grandson was the highlight!) Their band was set up in the large lobby area outside the main stage at bottom of the large, winding, central staircase. There was plenty of room for the band AND the many people in attendance. Theres a coat check, a good view into the gym and all of the equipment it offers and the main meeting room that also serves as home to the Festival of Trees before the December holidays. In the future, if we see anything offered as entertainment that wed be interested in, I wouldnt hesitate to attend this venue. (As a bonus, there are plenty of good restaurants in the area!)

Very nice, went to the Festival of Trees . Very,very nice, many idea to decorate my trees and Lego display was nice, but I love the train station that was set up... Very nice reminiscent of the past

Great venue to see a concert. Saw Gary Puckett and the Union Gap and it was a fabulous show. Acoustics are great and they have a great lineup of events. Worth seeing.

Great sound. If you get a chance to sit in the balcony, I suggest it. My family of 5 enjoyed the view from atop. Mr. & Mrs. Claus where great.

We went for a kind field trip and loved it! The theatre is a great size, and nice large stage so any seat is a good one!

I have been a member of the Center for several years. Its a state of the art facility. I went to play basketball and use weight lifting equipment. There are two great, official dimensions basketball courts. Well maintained parquet.Major thing I dont like are actually people who visit the gym and play basketball. There are a bunch of kids 13-16 years old who occupy bball courts. Also, some macho type guys on Sunday mornings and evenings on other days. Hard to find a good bunch of guys for a pick up game. Thats why I choose to go and shoot basketball, break some sweat early in mornings before going to work. Basketballs are available but bring your own.A variety of fitness equipment is also available and no crowd there between 6-7 AM. There are spacious locker rooms with showers. Lockers could be a little larger. Entrance to the pool is through locker rooms.Staff is kind, facilities clean and I recommend this place.

I’ve been taking aerobic classes here for years and I love it! Cristi’s Zumba classes are my favorite, her energy is contagious! Sometimes I use the daycare for my children, my kids enjoy playing there. Ms. MaryAnn is by far the BEST daycare employee. She is great with kids and very friendly.We’ve also seen the Nutcracker ballet here several times. We’ve been to the festival of trees and they have an amazing Santa set up for pictures. My children have also taken swimming lessons here at the center.

Attended One Day University here. Plenty of parking once you find the turn. Good covered drop off area at front. Two bathrooms near front, multi-stall mens and womens farther in to the right. Auditorium seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room.

Haidar kicked me out for no reason, he kicked me out for “horsing around with my friends” he’s also really racist.

Owned by the City of Dearborn (a government sector) it has a very bad management and members come last. The jacuzzi is cold 50% of the time and sometimes extremely hot. The facilitys temp. Not comftorable. No more at this facility I just cancelled my membership after 12 years.

A huge place and a very lovely community. Was greeted by all and always hosts community events such as career expos. Such a nice place.

Beautiful place! Even has monthly dances with a live DJ music for those with Autism & other disabilities. Its called the Specials Dance. Tickets $4. They provide snacks & beverage too!

Great venue. Has wet bar and vending machines. Gorgeous theater, no bad seats. Easy access and has handicap accessible seating. Free and handicap parking. Easily visible from highway.

We took our daughter there to perform. Our daughter dances for Evolve Dance Studio and was competing there. The building is very nice inside. They have a huge rec room with work out equipment and they even have rock climbing. If you are in the are check them out.

Went to watch The Moth from NPR. Very good.

A lot of my friends go to the Civic center which is there and its alright. If youre a Dearborn resident its worth the price. Dont forget to get the necessary documents to be able to go to the Civic center. There a bunch a stuff there so I recommend you go to there website to check what the got there.

Not enough workout machines.

Great place to let the kids swim, the basketball court is great although at times it can be crowded. The rock climbing is good for kids as well. I go there alot, I reccomend you do too if you want a place to work out and let your kids have fun simultaneously.

We always have a great time at 4th Fridays with The CAMP held at the Ford community & performing arts center

I was invited to an art show here so I didnt get the full experience but I can say that the outside perimeter and main Chambers were extremely clean and elegant from what I saw. The room that the art show was inside was also clean and well put together.

Beautiful Event Center! Did a wedding there in August and loved the customer service, especially Irena Washington! If youre having an event there, be sure to ask for her! Ill be doing another wedding there next year April. Beautiful place and nice space.

Beautiful facility. Lots of parking. Not far from the highway. I drove through Dearborn to get here and the flow of traffic at 530pm was not as bad as the freeway traffic.

Lovely theater! We have been coming here to see the Dearborn Youth Symphony for the last three years, they do such an amazing job every time!

I enjoy visiting here yearly for my granddaughters dance recital, very clean, I also enjoyed the art collection, theres lots to do there.

Was held at the Henry Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. My Daughter was part of the Hair War here in Detroit.

This is a a great facility. I have attended events in the theater. There is good legroom and the seats are very comfortable. The entrance is very open but has limited seating while you wait for the doors to the theater open. There is substantial parking and it is free. There are other activities here. The pool looks wonderful!

Very clean, most of the staff are nice. Bathrooms are clean, showers are equipped with gel soap and are curtained, plus there is a good supply of hot water. However, the shower area needs more attention because some customers leave the water on and the unadjustable shower heads are aimed at the foyer. Pool has several life guards on duty, all taking their responsibilities seriously. There is a gadget attached to the wall where you can spin your swimsuit nearly dry. Track is cushy and well marked, equipment usually but not always functional.

This is a great place for several reasons. They have plenty of amazing shows for you to watch and at Christmas time there is one of the best meat Santa Claus is that Ive ever seen.

The building is beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated. Accommodates variety of events, from small to large.

Good event site especially for a graduation, handicapped amenities are kind of hard to find I had to climb up stairs because I could not find an elevator to get to the second floor which was where I was required to sit.

This is the worst recreation center you’ll ever come across in your life. I was very disappointed first off when I found out that you cannot get a monthly or yearly membership if you dont live in Dearborn. Second is if your under 18 and it is before 1 pm or after 5 pm you cannot swim. Also you cannot go to the gym if you are under 15. Overall I am very disappointed in this place, if I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would.

My son graduated on 6/11/19 he loved melvindale my daughters also graduated there great school number 1 in michigan i would recommend anybodys children to go there great teachers principle thumbs up

Best Place To Go When I Have Nothing To do.

Extraordinary place to listen and watch a performance. The acoustics are ridiculously loud and vibrant, you can feel in your soul. I came here to watch a performance by Henry Ford college and multiple bands for the presidents ball; my wife was part of the choir. I dont,well I thought I didnt, like coming to a place like this especially for a live performance but damn I loved it. Staff was SUPER FRIENDLY, they knew what they were doing. FYI bathrooms are towards the Civic center on the right hand side of the cashiers desk.

They are so bad they will not let anyone under 18 to enter the hot tub. you also have to be 18 to just touch the water or put your feet in it.like what the heck. every damn place i go they let us.they even let my 2 year old sis go in full body.

Great workout facility. Need more supervision around the upstairs track... many times young children are playing on the equipment.

This place has nice auditoriums. Now has fitness center as well. Only issue I found is the dirty bathrooms. I hope management can focus on this issue. Otherwise, excellent place for graduations, concerts etc
