Butterfly House

Such a fun experience. The flowers are beautiful and its neat to have all the butterflies fluttering around you. Keep your phone handy as there are lots of great photo ops.

Not too many butterflies in the house but did see a very hungry caterpillar! Checkout the prairie trail for lotsa fluttering beauties.

The Cox Arboretum Butterfly House is a wonderful setting to view native caterpillars and butterflies/moths in a mesh enclosed, beautiful garden habitat. It was rainy and cooler today, so the butterflies were not flying this morning. However, there were numerous types of caterpillars to see. The house is in an excellently maintained park and includes a dedicated walkway that leads from the parking lot to the house.

Just really pretty and a fun walk lots of critters to see. Kids loved it
