It was okay. Its a low key place to sit and have a drink and listen to local talent. The long island was decent. I suggest bringing cash for the bar though, and eating before you go as they do not serve food.

I went there was to see Generations of Big Band. Also enjoy going on Sunday night to hear local musicians play for what one could call and open mic night. Nice mix of people and a nice place to go to meet other musicians.

This is Daytons oldest jazz club and the home of the longest continuous Sunday night jam session for 43 years now, led by Kenny Bacchus and Grant King Koeller, on the tenor sax every Sunday. On select Saturdays there are special nights with special jazz guests. On the first Friday Blues its a blues jam with Dustin Malone, down home real and raw as it can get. With Dayton, Ohio being the home of FUNK, many times the club has many FUNK masters and legends stopping by to jam, and sit in.
