Its been challenging to purchase a gun lately. Most salespeople have no patience. I had been to several stores and left very disappointed. However at Alfies I met both John and Adam two of the most patient and knowledgeable people Ive ever met. Thank you so much for your kindness and help!

I took my concealed carry class last month Alfie and his staff are super friendly made the class both informative, interesting and engaging. Looking forward to buying my next gun there.

Went to this public range in order to sight in an AR-15 and a pistol. Was assigned two lanes on the “east” range and either improper maintenance of the range or the shooter 4 lanes down from me using the incorrect ammunition resulted in several dangerous ricochet events that struck me and my partner several times once causing an bleeding injury to my forehead. The range officer / controller also failed to stop shooters from rapid firing creating another dangerous condition. I would avoid this range unless using a pistol only range and hope the range takes action in the future to prevent these dangerous things from happening.

Very clean range, prices are good and Daniel delivered top notch customer service. Definitely will be coming back again. Highly recommended to friends and family.

Highly recommend Alfies! Being a woman and a first time gun buyer I ended up buying 3 guns. Adam and John were extremely helpful and patient. I have places closer to me but will continue to go there because of the wonderful customer service!

Just learning how to use my new Glock -19 … found the range and store to be excellent . Small non pretentious with courteous staff .. very patient with me a relative novice . Daniel at the front desk at Alfies was especially helpful to me .. very good overall experience .

Dont buy any guns from this place, they jack up all there prices double, and then will only sell you ammo after you purchase, after that your on your own.

Went there for the first time recently and didnt even get to see the range. Didnt get past the counter because the scrawny pasty kid with glasses, behind the register, had so much attitude. Do yourself a favor and just go to Pembroke Gun Range or somewhere else.

Decent range. Would be a lot better if they had better ventilation. The ventilation turns on sporadically and does a very poor job at properly cleaning the air. You will get a good dose of toxic lead shooting here without a respirator.

The staff is friendly and professional everything was to the point no BS,. Prices are reasonable nothing to complain about. I am definitely going back and definitely recommend to others to go there, no wait time

Decent place to go and shoot. Easy place to find. Plaza right on SR 84 next to CARMAX. The gentlemen behind the counter was very nice. It seems to be a mom and pop place, reminds me of other shooting places from up in North Massachusetts. It has been a long while since Ive been shooting rounds for fun. I must say that the sport is getting expensive. Spend a little over $50 dollars for renting only a used revolver, purchasing a simple target and box of rounds of .357. Other places up in Central Florida, you purchase the box of rounds for pistols/revolvers (usually priced a bit higher than regular retail price), but you get the handgun for no extra cost. Same goes for shotguns and rifles (provided you get a certain amount of rounds). But been there only once so far. Wasnt bad. Will be going there a few more times.

Went there to shoot the metal plates, they no longer have them. They only have paper targets. The ventilation is terrible and its hot in there. It was 3 of us for 55 minutes and came out to 44 bucks. Too expensive for a place where the only ventilation is your lungs.

Went with my wife and we both had an awesome time, staff is friendly and professional everything was to the point no BS, we were visiting out of state so we rented a hand gun for ourselves. Prices are reasonable nothing to complain about. We are definitely going back whenever we are in town and we definitely recommend to others.

Bad equipment and a worse attendant. The attendant was troubled every time he had to look up from his phone.

The actual range is fine. However the few times I have been there, the staff have not been friendly. I went in this morning for ladies day and there was a young looking man with glasses and dark hair behind the counter who did not seem to like working there. Very uncommunicative and terrible customer service.

Nice range, not crowded, friendly staff

At first this place seems decent. People up front are nice. After getting in and shooting at a 12 inch target we were told that we would have to buy a target to place the smaller target on because a lot of people have been shooting the line lately. I normally wouldn’t have an issue with this but I had two different firearms pointed at me while I was in this facility. Seems like they are more concerned with their facility than their guests. Also, carriers need to be changed. The one in my lane was so sharp it cut my partner when he went to switch targets.

Amazing experience and Alfie is a complete pro at costumer service and very friendly. I went with my wife and took our son who just came from the Air Force for the holidays and we were treated very well by the man himself. We had a jam on our firearm and i came out to ask for assistance and Alfie came right in and helped me and showed me like a pro. Really appreciate the way everything was handled. Highly recommended.

I had a good experience there as well as my military vet pals. Yeah its a small primitive range, but I dont put on nail polish nor put on womans underwear.If you want the spa treatment, this is not for you milk toasts. Everyone else will do just fine.

Alfies staff was welcoming and helpful on all my visits. If needed, their store has a decent selection of rentals. I will continue to go there.

This place is very friendly for people who already know firearms and people who are new to them. I just purchased my 1st gun and they were very helpful in the recommendation. Very cool guys behind the counter. The owner was cracking jokes with my friend and I while waiting for our background checks to come back. The shooting range next door is very clean and have everything you need to purchase or rent to go shooting. Very good store, will definetly come back soon!

Good place to shoot BUT... ONLY GO BY YOURSELF. Dont even think about taking others with you unless you want to shell out a ton of money. I took my 2 kids one day. We all used the same lane (obviously only one person can shoot on a lane at a time) so I could supervise. My youngest lasted about 10min before he couldnt take the AR going off beside us. We shot for an hour; I went to pay and it was over $40!!!Come to find out it doesnt matter if you share a lane, everyone on the lane gets charged the hourly rate. Makes no dann sense to me. I go by myself and shoot for an hour I pay $12+targets etc. If I take my 12 year kid who only ends up shooting 20 rounds I pay double even though only one of us can shoot at a time!!!

The staff here is absolutely amazing. Theyre super nice and care a lot about safety. Ive been to a few ranges and no one has taken the time that they did to make sure we were comfortable with shooting. Im coming back mainly because of how well we were treated.

If you bring your own ammo and rent a gun there, yiu have to a buy box a ammo there. The price is double comparing to anywhere else!

A no nonsense straight forward range at a good price. You are not hassled and left alone to shoot. Not the case at other local ranges. The last couple of negative reviews left were laughable. If you want to take selfies,go elsewhere!

This place is great, I bought a rifle from them, price was cheaper then most other places. Then I was able to go around the shop and buy all sorts of upgrade s at the same place! Most shops dont have upgrade s in stock . This place has just about everything! As for customer service it was perfect everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was there another time and being helped another customer was yelling and complaining about something (he knew more then the sales rep he thought) the sales man handled this problem perfectly and the rude / upset guy left. I saw what happened and the guy was wrong and was to hard headed to admit it. This is probably a neg review witch isnt right because this company is great! As for the shooting range Im going tues why my wifes in surgery Im very excited because they have plates! So Ill write another review in the near future! I dont live down there I wish I did what a great company thanks for being there guys!!!

Went to use the range because the website claims they have steel targets. They dont anymore. Customer service was very pleasant and i stayed to shoot paper. Wish i did not. Very poor ventilation and hot despite AC. You can see fog at 25 yard line. For hours after i could taste gunpowder in my throat . Will not return.

One of the best shooting ranges in South Florida. Low range fees and a superb staff make Alfie’s a top tier facility. AND, they don’t breathe down your neck while you’re shooting.

Went to shoot on Saturday (2/2) and was a bit disappointed. I was sent to a lane that didnt have a clip to hold targets. I asked to change and was sent to a lane that had a light out so it was very dark. This was the first time in many trips to Alfies that I had a problem and will just write it off as a bad day. Heres hoping that future visits have zero problems.

Me and my brother recently bought our first hand guns here and the staff was great in guiding us. They also have a lot of things in the shop like accessories. The range is really nice too.

Worst place to go. The owner is very disrespectful and acts like he wants to prove himself with his napoleon complex. Short guy with a very big ego. I couldnt believe how disrespectful he was just because we were taking selfies. I will never go back and I hope the establishment closes down for his unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. When you show that you are getting upset from his behavior he puts his hand on his gun and tells you to get out. I bet he talks less when he doesnt have a gun on his hip. Worst place ran by the worst people.

Stay away from this range!! The ventilation is poor to say the least....they charge by the hour so dont go over...15 hpurly plus tax. Def not a shooters range. No cardboard or stapler so u have to buy their oversized targets....No Soap in bathroom so briing ur own to scrub all that lead off ya.. ...went on the 4th of july and never will return again!!!

Went in for the first time and was greeted with a friendly smile and a hello, which is refreshing going into a new range! Its a shooters range, i wouldnt bring a date or your wife, but this is the kind of range i like! No glits or glamour, just divided metal stalls and and clips to hang your targets on. Ammo was a good price for mom n pop set up!Only complaint is that its on that weird part of east 84, between university and davie, and if you miss the right turn for the plaza, there is no easy way to turn around. Oh, and its big targets only!

Best place in South Florida to go shoot indoors. Great place to purchase firearms, accessories and ammunition as well. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and provides great customer service.

Worst experience Ive had in my life. The short guy that runs the place acts like he is a king with a Napoleon complex. When we were getting ready to leave he started taking his personal problems out on us by shouting and pushing my mother out for not using both of the targets and we refused to pay for the target we didnt use. He called us stupid, ugly, cheap and told us we have issues. He was rude and aggressive and when I started to get upset about him pushing my mother he started to call the police. Very unprofessional place and i hope it closes down and something happens to that short guy.

Very bad experience. Typical gotcha mentality. My wife and I were told by the Weston Arms stuff (same company) that women shot for free on Mon and Wed, but there is a catch (of course there is). This only applies to the paper target range. We have learned about this only when it came to paying for the session. When I pointed it out that nobody ever cared to mention this to us and their website does not specify it, the attitude from the personnel and the owner (!) was: Now you know. The didnt even try to apologize, and the associate (Mike, I think) was quite rude about it and hang up on me when I called to discuss the issue.Im never going back there (Weston Arms or the range) for anything and I regret I bought a couple of guns from them. They made extra $18 today, but theyve lost a customer forever.

I have looked at all these negative reviews and I agree with them, not everyone that works here is customer friendly, I also took the class and thought Alfie was a cool guy until this last Sunday, first of all he did not have the time of day for me. Then I was browsing the store looking at the different guns, when I witnessed him having a pissy fit in the store and throwing gun parts around, he was pissed that gun parts were on the counter, these parts were there as another customer was about to purchased them, the customer had move to a different part of the store to look at other things with the sales person. This is not cool in front of customers and not good for business.I was going to purchase a couple of guns but decided to leave instead.Dont shop here!

WOW worst gun range I ever been in, clips missing to hang targets, so I go to another one and the target, wont move when touching the button, no lights . the gun rentals are $10 an hour, so I go get another gun after 15 minutes and they charge me another $10 for that gun too . it would have been nice if they would let you know, but no I saw it in the receipt on my way out .NEVER AGAIN.
