Best small park in Town. Perfect get away for a nice walk or to sit by the pond and enjoy the view. Aerators have a huge difference!
Relaxing .geese were abundant. The patk could use some trash containers as we ate lunch and had to take our bagswoth us.We may go there again in the future..
Beautiful, clean and open. Perfect fishing spot to take the kids or just relax.
Great place for a light walk or picnic. One downside is the geese. Besides that very clean and comfortable
Great fishing spot, plenty of parking on the side. It’s a clean and beautiful little park near downtown. Also a great place to take family portraits. PS Dog Friendly too!
Beautiful park and a great spot to sit
Nice park. Very well manicured. Quiet. Big turn off is that it was loaded with dog feces. The entire walk way and grass was loaded with fresh and lots of old feces. Had to leave with in a few minutes. I felt very uncomfortable to be surrounded by dog poop.....
Loved it.
Nice place
Usually good, but yesterday was simply bad! Didnt get that relaxation time I am used to when coming here. Ut was fine, Hope they will clean it before my next visit to the park.
Nice place very quiet, I like to go there to relax and think.luv it.
Nice place to go on a quick walk with your dog
Tilley Pond Park is a piece of essential Americana. It is quaint, communal, and a timeless Connecticut landmark. If you do choose to visit the cabin, be careful to watch for birds. If instead you want to fish, beware of the turtles and mind the branches overhead. Whether it spring, summer, fall, or winter, Tilley Pond remains a relatively-undiscovered destination, though I doubt it will be for long.
Small park, quiet, I like to go there, sit down, relax, and think.
Beautiful park - but lots of geese, so watch your step!!
Such a nice little park
A nice park for a stroll, playing with your dog, or having a picnic, but needs improvement. There are parts of the park that are undeveloped or have been left to decay. The sundial up the stairs is broken and has been completely covered with overgrowth, and the gazebo is always covered in bird excrement due to the barn swallows that nest there. Garbage receptacles are overflowing on some days. The edge of the pond is sloped and unsafe for young children. Garbage and debris is often floating at the edges of the pond as well. Definitely needs more care.EDIT MAY 23 2017: Poison Ivy has taken over the edge of the pond. No action has been taken. Please be careful with kids.
Great place to walk. Small but picturesque.
No wonder people say Darien is beautiful... Darien has so many beautiful parks small, medium and big... this is another beautiful park...
Beautiful
The park and its nature is beautiful. . and its kept neat besides ocationally some parents that dont pick up after their kids and a lot of cigarret filters near the benches ... Wish it was smoke free place. But i love the park.
