My most frequented beach to enjoy sunsets without parking or crowd hassles. Its small beach area gets gobbled up at high tide...but always nice at dusk..the nearby baby beach is great for young families w no waves, and nearby pirate ships!

Perfect sand for building a sand castle village like we did the last two times we went to Baby Beach. We even setup a horse shoe area and that was loads of fun. It’s small enough to get to know people at the beach but big enough to enjoy your own space. Definitely will be going back because the sand is amazing and we love how quiet it is there.

Easy in and out with paddle boards and kayaks. Even a place to put boards after and wash with fresh water and showers. Free parking too!

A very nice place to go with little kids. Beach is calm and no strong waves.

Behind the Ocean Institute is another beautiful, picturesque Beach. Beware of the high tide!

If you walk, or I jog & run (whatever youre comfortable with) till the end, you will see this radar station with a few concrete steps. About a mile and a half distance but worth it. Wear sturdy shoes though or just take a few steps and take in some ocean breeze, hear the birds, or spot a seal.Worth it.

Beautiful beach, no waves, perfect for 1st timers SUP boarding or kayaking, my little boy loves it here, children are safe to swim and play.

The rock wall was too rocky. It hurt my feet. Also the waves sometimes are big and you get all wet. Needs more warning signage

Lovely park. Be sure to visit the Pilgrim and the Ocean Institute as well as the tide pools.

I loved this place when we first started going to California. It is more of a Rocky beach, but very fun nonetheless. There is a hike around a cliff to “sea” a cove.

Came in by boat. A good place to stretch your legs and walk. Some lovely restaurants nearby too

Great park to bring the family to and enjoy some beach time (especially easy for the little ones) have a BBQ or picnic on the grass or at the benches. Afterwards head on up to the marina restaurants for some food and desserts and or do some shopping. Plenty to do here, check it out!

Great place for small children. Waves are not big so you dont have to worry so much. Not a place to surf.

My kids love coming here to play in the sand or chill have a picnic. Very kid friendly we love coming here.

Unique man-made harbor. Nice place to relax. Parking fills up quick!

Parking was terrible but, a great time was had! Kayak rentals available (nothing fancy but nice), also paddle boards. Perfect for the little ones!

This is a great place to walk around there are plenty of facilities for BBQs picmix and restrooms. We came here and cut Pokemon one night and there were a hundred people it was amazing!

This is not the best tidepools to go to but there are a lot of things to do when you get there there are also many good restruants around. Just remeber to bring your wallet when you eat out there.

I live in the area so I might be a little biased. Its a nice little park, but it can get crowded on the weekends.
