Went here for a movie night to see Ghostbusters and it was so much fun. I do recommend using a blanket that has some sort of plastic or weatherproofing on the underside of it because the grass was damp. I recommend bringing some blankets, lawn chairs, and all your favorite snacks/ beverages. Definetly get there early to get a good spot. We really liked how everyone had a good/ sectioned off square per group with covid 19 going on they followed all the social distancing guidelines. The sound was good on the movie, you could see the screen. I would recommend this for couples looking for a date night, a girls night, a night out with the family/ kids its just great for everyone.

Such a unique sweet date night! Spread a blanket and had a great picnic with wine, loved the remake with modern takes, good acting! Just remember your bug spray, get there on time, and know you’ll be sitting in what you bring outside (so bring chairs/blanket/etc)

My daughter and I discovered Addison Circle Park and these wonderful plays last year. Weve been 2 years in a row and plan to continue this very fun tradition. We take chairs and an ice chest. Its inexpensive, easy to park, great weather and so nice to be outside. :) the lights and sound system are fabulous! The performers are absolutely the best! :)

My first experience at Shakespeare in the Park was momentous! As You Like it was superbly performed, the weather was lovely, and park personnel were helpful and friendly. It was a unique experience with outstanding players clearly heard and minimal staging that adequately provided an appropriate setting. The surrounding natural greenery was a beautiful background and great way to conceal players coming and going. Lighting was excellent and professional. This would make a perfect family outing with tasty Italian Ice and other snacks for purchase. Try an enjoyable evening with Shakespeare! - UniquelyD

A wonderful place to see a seasoned troupe put on the Bards best efforts. Grounds are well groomed; facilities are clean; and the staff is as friendly as could be. A real gem in Dallas cultural crown.

The show was entertaining. The grounds were clean and clear of bugs. Be sure to get there early to find a spot not behind one of the light towers

Disappointed they had no physical playbill to hand out. It was only available on app. Some of us prefer paper in hand. Disappointed the grass was not cut nor had area been treated for mosquitoes. In all my years of attending this I had never been bothered by mosquitoes. The play was so so. Not something I would want to see again. Acting was good.

One of my top 10 favorite things about Dallas. This is a very cheap evenings entertainment. $10 tickets (though its worth buying a lawn pass if you plan to see more than one show). The hill is breezy and cool, even in summer. Bring your own food/wine/beer. The bathrooms are clean. And their productions are often the best version of any given Shakespeare play that Ive seen.

Oh my this is one of Dallas gems! 47 years and counting they have been bringing amazing outdoor Shakespeare theatre the way it was meant to be done; outdoors. Buy tickets online ahead of time, show up by 7:15 and just ENJOY it all! It is amazingly fun on a warm Summer evening.

This was my first time here. It was a very cool experience. My 16 year old son and I both enjoyed both the show and the atmosphere. The only negative was the mosquitos, but they were even prepares for that. They had free use of repellent. The price was fair and you could bring in anything you wanted. People had wine and cheese, beer and other drinks, etc. We will be back for the next show.

It was really nice out this past weekend and a perfect night for being out at the park. I would suggest on getting there early, because they start quite promptly. Like the fact that we can bring our own food and drink. Just be aware that hard liquor isnt permitted. If you have lawn chairs you have to sit towards the back, so its better to have your blankets. The show we saw was The Tempest. There were some funny parts to it and was surprised that they had singing in it. I read the synopsis before going so I could follow the storyline. Id definitely will go again.

Wednesdays you get to pay what ever price you wish to pay! They need more POC though. Bring a big towel to sit on the grass. Bug spray! And food youll be starving. You can literally have a nice picnic date with any Shakespearean lover. They have snacks but youll be more satisfied with FOOD that will actually fill up your stomach. I loved the little ice cream shave stand!

Tons of fun! Shakespeare Dallas does a phenomenal job each and every time I go to see their productions. The summer passes are well worth it. I have seen Titus And tonics (a traditionally presented Shakespeare play with way too much fire forcmr, but I recognize the professionalism and high production value I was not expecting from a theatre in the park type of venue) as well as A 70s take on Shakespeares A Comedy of Errors. That one did not change even a single line of dialogue, but it was so incredibly funny. Get yourself a pass and go back for new shows!

Very entertaining plays with a good measure of humor. I expected it to be stuffy and boring but it is not at all! Great acting and innovative sets and costumes. The rented sand chairs are a bit uncomfortable. Most patrons are polite and friendly but a minority are condescending and pretentious.

The performance was great. Five stars. The seating was not so great, either on the ground or on lawn chairs, which means the view can be restricted if you dont get good positioning. This is definitely something worth checking out for a unique type of entertainment. Bring your own wine, cheese, etc.

Really cool place for BYOB and cheese eating while watching a play. Plays themselves are ok but you really cant beat the price ($15 with regular Groupon promos). Bring low profile chairs if you want to sit in front as regular ones are restricted to the back and the view is not that great. Come a bit early to scoop the better seating areas

Shade is available, and some seats, too. Or you can do what we do and bring a folding chair or blanket /quilt to sit in the lawn (though keep an eye out for ants, and have a picnic before the show. There is a concession stand but i domt know what they serve as we took in our own dinner and water. We saw A Comedy Of Errors and it was very well rehearsed and the talents of the cast were apparent in their portrayals. To hear Shakespeare in a deliberate Texas twang is a hoot too, and makes Shakesperean Old English easier to discipher. It was hot that day, but nicely tolerable in the shade, and after the sun set it was quite a pleasant evening. Paid parking is available at the event, but if you get there early there is some limited free parking a short walk across the road in the adjoining park. Go. Youll love it.
