This place has closed down and there is no notification about it. 5 sheets on the door talking about late payments, they’re done

Been there a couple times! Love the music and atmosphere. Drinks are good. Parking is no trouble at all just pay parking fee.

I went there on a Friday club is very nice and fun. However the bartender added $10 to all of my tabs. I didn’t find out until like Wednesday when the payments finalized with my bank. I’ve called and emailed them multiple times and haven’t gotten a response back. At this point Ive contacted my lawyers because none of those tips were authorized.

Well, this is a very low class club. People should be allowed to come on flip flops or even barefoot! Lol.Seriously, this old building needs some dramatic remodeling. The speakers are cheap, where are the lasers?

These people pick and choose who they enforce their formal attire with. Nobody could give an answer when they were called out for letting many people in that clearly did not follow dress code. Drinks are also gross, everything has such an artificial flavor. Definitely will not be returning. I know Medusa could care less, but just know I will talk poorly of you always!

Dress code. Thats Bull****. I went their, last Saturday and we were 4 people in the group and they didnt let one of our friends In because he was wearing sneaker. Well we were well dressed though. So we decided to skip it and went to the other club to have good time. Its was very disappointing experience.

I’m not from the Dallas Area, But when i came to have fun . Me & my friends were looking for a. Club/Bar to go to . & we came to Medusa, They didn’t let us it because they said it was “disco night “ didn’t allow us to get in because I’m guessing we weren’t dress appropriately to go in but a girl behind us was able to go in and she was dressed just like us with jeans and Heels . Witch made me and my friends more mad so never coming to Dallas their to lame anyways !

Tried to get in they complained about my friends shoes and my were fine. I had the pair in my car and changed shoes and he put them on and then I wasn’t wearing a belt even though my pants fit without them and I wearing the same attire as I wore last time just a different shirt

Great club kind of varies on the dress code some people get in some dont but Im glad I made it security is great drinks are strong and the atmosphere is electric. If you want to get in I suggest business casual not club casual

Visit Viadorra or Salsero insteadA group of us went to this place last Saturday. We got in line and the door guy said “oh he can’t come in he’s wearing tennis shoes”. We understand if a place has a dress code, but he then let’s in a group of guys all wearing the same tennis shoes! He realizes I noticed and leads to tell me oh the are hear the owner. We then turn are walk over to our car and realize everyone walking out the side exit door that most of the guys walking out are wearing tennis shoes. Clearly this establishment doesn’t have a dress code. Some in management should make the door guy that’s tattooed up aware of this.

Good place, if you like music in Spanish

We went at around 10ish when they first opened and it was pretty chill. My friend and I were supposed to get in free because apparently ladies get in before 11. I had to pay $20 however because I’m under 21, which I didn’t really mind, I just wish I knew beforehand. Towards 11-12 it got really crowded and there was barely room to dance. Nevertheless I still had fun and it was a pretty cool spot to hang out. Most likely will go back.

I read all the reviews before coming to this place. I found some of them to be true, but a lot of the comments in my opinion were incorrect.Here is my two cents about this place....Me and my wife visited Medusa in Dallas, Saturday September 7th. We got there around 10:30 pm.Parking was right across the street and it cost me $10.00 ( Cash and card are accepted.)In my opining it seem like business casual was recommended to enter the club but I did notice some people wearing jeans.They charge me $15.00 to get in and my wife did not have to pay a cover fee.Over all I had a great time. I will definitely come back soon.

Medusa is pretty cool. The building is what I like the most. There are 4 different bars so one bar is not going to get crowded. Nice, wide open dance floor also. The cover charge is a little expensive though.

I visited last weekend it’s a nice place to have fun, a but overcrowded but good playlist. It gets pretty hot in there sometimes. Management was rude, doesn’t speak English, poor customer service.

Very fun place!! Just make sure you dress up very formal, because they didn’t let me and my friends get in because we were wearing jeans .

Apparently You can Not Get in With Tennis Shoes. We are talkin about a used building on a Corner street that was make shifted into a club. I can understand a Las Vegas club dress code but a club like this not to let you get in because of not the proper shoe attrire on ?? Ill go sumwhere else. Also bottle blonde let me in with tennis shoes.

My first time visiting this club and I will never go again even if someone paid me to go. Im not surprised on why this club is never mentioned on preferred places to go in Dallas. After being in the club for about 15 minutes with my bestfriend some weird extremely unprofessional security guard approached me and asked for my drivers license. Not to mention this tacky rude cultural incompetent security guard didnt even try to use an ounce of sense to ask my friend for hers, it seemed weird, stalkerish and borderline discriminatory. I asked him what was the issue and he couldnt even give an eligible explanation. The unexplainable harassment and continously following me and my best friend around left a sour taste in my mouth and just even the name of this club makes me cringe. NEVER again.

I love to dance but don’t always wear heels because I can’t keep them on all night!! This place you can’t get in if you’re not wearing heels . So if you want to get in wear your heels!!!

Worst place, I was a representative from Nissan on last nights event and the security thinks they can treat people how they want! never again doing an event here for Nissan! Some guy from security (Oso) Jesus Almazan was taking money from people to let them in!

It’s a great venue, great music and vibe. Parking is accesible. Dress code is strict when you want to get in for free before 11 but after that they’re more lenient. Ive always had a good time there.

It was alright. Dance floor was pretty big. I went here for my 30th and was expecting it to have more of a variety in music but it was mostly Latin. Which is okay but not really what Im used to. If invited back for a friends party, I will go, but I wont go out of my way to come back.

Nice place to dance, but!!! The drinks, small, not strong, but the worst part is that you have to be careful with the security guys they are there to throw away your drink as soon as you move your head!! So you have to buy another drink, I had a bad experience last night, I was so mad about it!!

Dress code doesnt allow workbooks which is a shame cous steel toe shoes will come in handy when everyone steps on your toes or drops a beer bottle on them. Music was good drink and entrance was a bit expensive. We got there at 12:30 and there was plenty of parking.

They pick and choose who they want to come in their club. My boyfriend was wearing dress boots and almost wasn’t allowed in until we talked to the manager. He has worn these dress shoes many times here and now they arent acceptable? We saw plenty of people inside who weren’t wearing dress shoes.

Good place to go when you already have tickets for an event (since the guards cant have the ability to pick and choose based on what you wear). Coming here on any regular night....good luck getting in without getting a stare down with some ridiculous reason to pick at your wardrobe and get turned down.

Staff is very rude. Apparently they don’t let minors in after 11pm but.. we got there 15 mins before 11a and still didn’t let us in?!? There excuse is that they just can’t? Annoying.

The bouncers arent consistent with dress code or who gets in. I wore the same outfit that got me in last time only for the bouncer to say no this time around.The bouncers are rude and on a power high. Expect to be looked up and down in a critical manner. Definitely not a worthy experience. And yes drinks are watered down.

On Saturday May 4th 2019 My wife and my Daughter (that just turned 18) along with my wifes best friend and her boyfriend went to Medusa, 30 minutes in my wifes best friend stepped out of the club to get something from the car then returned, the gentleman behind the desk told her she has to pay, she expressed to him that she has been at the club and just stepped out for a minute and she showed him the arm band, he still insisted on her paying again, my wife offered to to pay but pointing at her face he said no she pays, at that moment her boyfriend came into the picture with the two tickets in his hand, so the desk gentleman stepped back but his ego got the best of him, so he intentionally stomped the foot of my wifes friend, and that when it all went down hill, when my wife saw the guy kicking her friend while on the floor (Yes a guy kicking a lady that paid money to have fun while on the ground) she garbed him to get him of her friend, at that time the same Gentleman pushed my wife to the ground, make a long story short, 5 bouncers 1 lady security and one commissioned officer (At least that what he told me latter) all contributed to the cuts and bruises on my wifes body and head, with all this and they were asking to see a manager but I guess the manager was cowering in a corner somewhere, 911 was called but never showed up; that bring to mined the the 2017 case of arresting the 2 DP officers that were helping Mr. Hinajosa the owner who owned Medusa at that time, they were all arrested for selling cocaine and laundering money, who knows there is ever lasting relationships and maybe this is one of them.Back to the subject at hand, when my wife called me to tell me what happened I drove to the club arriving at about 1:30am, all I wanted is the name of the Employee (The one I have been referring to as gentleman), I was stonewalled by the Lady officer, the Commissioned officer and some lady presenting her self as a manager I think her name is Jessica not too sure, 30 minutes into the conversation and I still do not know his name.Here is how I see things, my wife paid money and got beat up by bunch of hoodlums while authorities watched and did nothing, this place has a culture of cruelty and disrespect to women and are emboldened by the authority that turn a blind eye, if you read all the reviews you would see that it has been going on and on and on with no consequences; I just did hire an investigator and I will drag every one with me to a court of law, some way somehow I will get his name and I will get him in a court room in front of a judge to decide who is right and who is wrong.

Medusa is a fun club and I love going BUT I had an issue getting in this past weekend. I get to the bouncer he looks at me up and down and says you cant come in. I said why and he said you are wearing sandals you have to have heels. I was wearing sandals but you couldnt even see my shoes because I was wearing flowery print pants that covered my shoes. My friend and I were able to get someone from inside to bring me heels so I switched them out and snuck my sandals in. While I was in line I saw a girl wearing a simple black romper with sandals in front of us and I was waiting for them to deny her and NOPE they let her right in with no problem. This bothered me so much because I was actually more dressed up than she was and again you cant tell what shoes I am wearing. I get closer to the bouncer and he was already looking at me up and down. I got up to him and he made no eye contact with me and just put the wrist band on. The last time I went in I wore sandals and they didnt tell me anything. I understand you need to have policies in place but they are not fair to everyone and they dont apply them to everyone. They can be a bunch of jerks. Also I think making girls wear heels is ridiculous they should make the bouncers wear heels all night and see if they are comfortable with them by the end of the night.

I highly recommend this nightclub. The staff is very friendly and the facility is very clean. The music was Amazing! They have a second floor with 100% latin music so you can alternate what you feel like dancing to. They have a patio for the smokers or if you just want to chill for a little bit. The only downside is that it was a little bit too packed.

Fun atmosphere. Lots of reggaeton and Bachata played but very little salsa played. The crowd is mostly younger people 18-25 years old.

I had fun on New Year’s Eve

Went yesterday to Medusa, and after doing a 15 minutes long line, the security guard, told me I couldnt enter because of my shoes. FYI, my shoes were closed shoes, I wasnt showing my feet, and I dont do high heels because Im already a tall woman, and woman shouldnt be judged for not wearing heels! Thats discrimination! The guard literally asked me If I didnt have shoes that my feet didnt touch the floor, how ludicrous of me of having shoes that touched the floor WITH MY FEET! From now on I will make sure to have people carrying on a throne, whenever I return to Medusa. NOT.

I came to have a good night and dance and i came to find out that they where closing early i had already payed my parking so i dont understand why they kept saying on the radio that they where opening all night i also had made a call before i went because its not the first time they close. I am not going to risk it anymore not coming back to this place again!! They are nothing but false

Honestly these bouncers will test you. Around 1 am I had one push me and when I reacted he asked if I wanted to go to jail. Of course I said no, but he told all the others to watch me. So until I left they stayed on my a$$ and then laughed at my girl until my uber got there.

Girl on the phone verified it was reserved, me and my people get to the club at 10 pm and bouncers claim we dont have table. Remove me from the line and accuse me of trying to steal somebody elses table. Remove my friends wristbands. I paid for valet parking that was only for like 20 minutes, to find that their workers from valet stole items out of my car. I am missing items like my house keys and my gun key. Why would anybody steal things like this... I keep calling and calling nobody answers. Terrible service, rude/aggressive bouncers, and thieves. Ive heard to never come to this club and now I know why. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Stupid.

Big dance floors upstairs and downstairs. Good music with a more dancehall/house mix downstairs and Latin dancing music up top. You do have to pay for parking unless you know the secret locations. Overall good time and atmosphere.

$15 to get in. $10 for a drink in a kiddie cup that tastes like juice. Also, when asked for a cup of water to wash down their juice, I was rudely told that they do not give away free water, I would have to purchase their over-priced bottle of water; standard sized and roughly the same cost as an actual drink at any other bar... I bought 3 drinks total from 3 different bar tenders, all terrible. Other than this, good music and good lights. Overall, however, youre better off spending your money and time elsewhere.

This place is so full of it! They act like a person is going to apply for a job when it comes to the dress code. If its not the shoes its a polo shirt. They make up excuses on the spot just to not let a person in. We trying to dance not come to our office job.

Came from out of state to enjoy a night out and we weren’t allowed in because my husband was wearing jeans but the guy in front of us was wearing jeans and was allowed in. Security guards were very judgmental. VERY DISAPPOINTED to say the least!! Dallas is very pretentious.

Came here with my brother and we got kicked out for being black while clubbing, they literally had 8 bouncers escort us out of the club without having a reason for such. We came back a week later and they said we were gang affiliated. They let you in based on gender and age, so if youre black then watch out.

I went with a group so I had a blast. Every one danced and every one was having a blast. Good music and good vibes. Just wished the drinks werent so overpriced.

Went to a concert and it was amazing. The club is very spacious and even has a second VIP level. Medusa is very high class. The only withdraw is parking; which on concert nights can go between $20-40. Over all, the Club has a wonderful atmosphere to distance you distance yourself from the rush of the DFW.

Went to Medusa for the first time, wearing dress shirt,dress pants,dress shoes and all dressed to impress. Greeter let me in, but then one of the main greeters said my dressed pants were a bit baggy. Paid $10 for crowded small parking lot,then was not let in club. RIDICULOUS, this is a night club not the the military. Other people were told they couldnt come in for simple foolish reasons, yet they were well dressed to impress. $15 dollar cover charger,$10 parking fee,high priced drinks, not worth the time. Left to Cowboys Red River,free parking,cheaper to get in, $5 drinks all night long,$8 fee for men,free for women, and same music.

I cannot got over how horrible the service is, apparently you have to look like a prostitute to get in the club. If you’re not wearing 10 inch heels and showing half of your ass they will not let you in, I was not let in because there is a “no flats” policy but I saw like 5 girls go in with flats and sandals which is ridiculous. I am outraged and hope those people lose their jobs.

They over charge people when you order stuff be careful the price in the menu dost not match your bill . For example 250 bottles they charged me 400 each when you ask why they tell you not tonight very rude managers they don’t deserve someone spending this kinda money there .

Horrible!!! My husband was well dressed but he had boots, so he was told he could not go in the club. So we understood and realized we should have seen what the dress code was, so my husband went home (we live in Arlington) and he changed and put on some dress shoes and went back and was still turned down and he was told he was not formal enough. Which was very wrong because there was people there with untucked polo shirts wearing toms!!!! l saw a couple of guys that seemed like they didnt even try to comb theyre hair. I do not recommend this place and I will never be going back.

Went to Medusa for the second time they didnt let me in, I was dress similar to the first time that I went dress to impress and they let me in but this time they didnt saying that their dress code got stricter, drove 40+ minutes just for them not to let me in, waste of time.

Drinks are in small cups, very diluted with minimul liquor, not to mention overpriced. Everything else was fine. People tend to get mad over the dress code. Its there to not attract a certain crowd that like to dress in very baggy clothes. Overall club is ok just drinks need to be on par with prices.

My suggestion is for medusa club management to contact me.. asap it seems your door men and waitresses allowed my 18 year old cousin walk right in and never checking her id to see if she was 21 and was Legal to drink alcohol and 1 hour later I found my cousin with a busted mouth out side on the sidewalk half naked and all the valet did was laugh and make jokes.. didnt even check on her... or call a cab.. she could have died just because she looks over age doesnt mean you should check id

I am not sure but i felt this club was only for ppl whoUndestand spanish...they were playing only spanish songs and the djs were also conversing in spanish...people like me understood nothing...would have been better if they played some english songs so that non spanish speaking ppl could understand and enjoy more.overall the place was good.

This place is way to strict! It’s a small nightclub with good music but the bouncers kicked out my friend for no reason. Literally just walking around since it was his first time there and he was sober and someone escorted him out and wouldn’t let him back in. Worst service ever, drinks are very pricey as well. I wouldn’t come back again with that kind of service. It’s really crowded as well so be careful bumping into people because they will try to start a fight Sadly this place is over hyped was disappointed

I really like Medusa! Been here for some private concerts, also celebrated my 23 birthday here. Its very up scale, i see the reviews prior to mine and there all complaints on dress code. Step it up! Thats what uptowns about. Go bar hooping next time if you don’t like it lol . Drinks are pricey though not going to lie, I’ve paid up to 50 bucks for 3 shots. If its a group of 3-4 i recommend you get a table. Its worth it and they service you with the best. Love the music you get a taste of everything. The fog machines are legit, they remind me of the upscale clubs in Mexico. You don’t get that anywhere else in Dallas

We left after 15/20 mins of being there. Very disappointing and expensive. The valet people even tried to take a $100 bonus from us as they claim they gave us $100 in change “on accident, ” which never happened and They really were very pushy about it, digging into our wallets and trying to take our money out, which is unprofessional and absolute BS (and illegal). In addition, the cashiers for the club were very rude and gave us attitude. It was overall a bad experience. We ended up going elsewhere after our whole group already dropped so much money at Medusa.

Medusa=Home of Dallas smallest, weakest, most over-priced drinks! In short all of the negative reviews are true, but I wanted to elaborate on the drinks as they are incredibly bad. Imagine going to the dentist and the little plastic cup you get to rinse with....well that is the size of their drinks here. Astonishingly bad!

Worst experience ever. I made a reservation early on Saterday. I had asked if they had birthday specials to celebrate my bday, the guy said yes that it was a free reservation and I gave him my guest count. When I arrived at the club with my guest there was no reservation and they were trying to charge me $350 at the door for a table. I had already told my guest that I had a reservation therefore they didnt have to pay so it was a very embarrassing and ridiculous situation I had to go through on my birthday night. Never going back again .

I’m a regular guy who always go to Medusa on Friday nights. Policy of this place is changing every single weekend. So you really don’t know what to expect. One day they let my friend in with a shirt that has adidas on it but never let him in the next weekend. The security guy told my friend to get a table for $300 & they will let him in. This weekend I reserved the stage table and I paid $1200 for the table. But the SECURTY kept on standing at our table all the time even though we haven’t done one single thing wrong. They never let my friends join my table. They made me look bad in front of my friends even though I fully paid for three bottles which is $1200. I haven’t seen such bad table service ever in my life but at Medusa I sure experienced the most horrible table service ever. Never book a table over there. Never again in my life. Medusa was of my favorite but now it became a bad experience for me and my friends. ********* important there was a guy who claimed to be the manager he is short guy has a beard. This guy was the rudest guy I ever met. I think he should’nt be working for Medusa at all .

Went last night the lady at the entrance cashier over charged me, i gave her $30 because it was $15 for my brother and $10 for me at the end she said I had gave her $15 that I owed her $10 so my brother gave her $20 and I reacted to her saying I had just gave her $30 that actually she owed me $5 back and she rudely reply with an you are drunk and did not see you gave me $15!! i reply with an I know what I have in my wallet! And no Im not drunk!! at the end she said lady calm down or I will ask to kick you out!! And she stayed with the extra $20 not to mention that once you are in there drink are overpriced!

This place is absolutely horrible. I would give it 0 stars if I could. They charge men $5 more (expected) but they cavity searh you and herd you around the club like cattle with a flashlight. Overpriced drinks in plastic cups. Not worth the money or your time. Horrible, horrible club.

Bouncers are very judgemen on the dress code

Always a good time! Never fails me. Good for those who want to just get out and dance! Drinks are pricey but it is downtown dallas so kind of expect that... but overall worth it. Good mix of music especially reggaetón, bachata, hip hop, techno, Latin

Rude and unpleasant bouncer / security

Very nice staff. This place knows how to party. I Loved it! If you dont have anything to do on a saturday night, go to Medusa!
