We went to Palmers for the first time last night 7-1-2020 and had a blast, the staff was super friendly and checked on us periodically to make sure that we were OK I highly recommend this place as it is safe and lawful for you to fire your fireworks you can camp out bring some food but such a great place and we will definitely be back thank you very much to the Palmer family for offering a place with such fun with your family!

Honestly just talk and be nice, most times youll get a good deal on a bunch of stuff. BUT always REMEMBER to secure your stuff because you dont want your fireworks flying towards you, your car or others. If you cant find a brick to help, go find some old spent firework cakes and surround it, especially on the smaller cakes. But always remember be safe

Asked for long sparklers but was given long firecrackers that have to be stuck in the ground on the same pink sticks as the sparklers. I am not sure if they were out and still tried to sell me those or not...I specifically said I’m in city limits so can only have sparklers but did not want the short ones. Wish we could have used the $30 worth of fireworks!

I went to Palmers based on customer reviews. They spot off. When I arrived it was very organized as to where you park. Also, the lines were short because the service is excellent. The prices are very reasonable very happy as much as I did for about a hundred bucks. I will be returning. Thank you Palmers.

I would have giving it a 5 star but being our first time going there i have too say this is the worst place to go like why do they let people drink and pop fireworks . There should be more security and better organization . too many people poping them in the wrong sections designated areas my wife got hit by a roman candle and shes pregnant . if this place gets more organized then ill give it a 5 star

Worst 4th of July experience! People were out of control with the fireworks. You come in and find a place to park along the dirt road and make your own campsite. They had food vendors and port-a-potties. But people all around you are shooting off fireworks in reckless abandon. The fireworks were constantly landing all around us in our campsite from uncareful neighbors. Someone’s rocket landed next to me and went off and I couldn’t hear well after that. As soon as the sun sets, there’s a constant barrage of fireworks going off. If you can’t tolerate loud noises this is not the place for you. This would have been a better experience if there were designated spaces for setting off fireworks and spaces just for campsites. As it was, it was chaotic and unsafe with rockets landing all around you. Lots of heavy drinking going on as well. Not worth the $20 admittance. Very long lines to purchase fireworks with over an hour and a half wait in line. Not family friendly. Too many trees in the way to even see the fireworks going off.

Not safe for children, please dont be one of those parents bringing your kids here. There is a police presence and no violence that I saw but an outrageous amount of explosives is in the hands of very unprofessional and mostly drunk people following no safety precautions at all. Numerous incidents of large explosives being set off on the ground (instead of launching as intended) and striking people nearby with burning balls of powder and/or causing ear trauma. Also, only porta potties and no running water or sinks. If you are an adult happy to risk injury in order to be up close and personal with fireworks, then this might be worth the $20/car to get in.

Went there last night for the first time. 35 minute drive out of Dallas and very easy to get to. Friends and I have already made plans to come back for the next holiday. It said online $20 per car but we werent charged. The other people shooting fireworks were a little disorderly but use common sense and dont bring in your nice vehicle. I parked about 75 yards from the shooting ground. Later in the evening some of the people that worked there brought out a large load and shot off some beautiful fireworks. Thanks for a new years to remember!

I go every year. This is the nearest place where you can buy and shoot fireworks legally. There are many people who launch tens of thousands of dollars in fireworks that probably rival the typical fireworks shows you usually have to watch from afar. Its $20 per car and you can bring your own fireworks. Fireworks are usually buy 1 get 1 free. They sell food, water, and snowcones at a fair price. There are a few port o potties too.It gets really busy near the 4th of July, but the grounds are large and there is plenty of space. Its right next to the Trinity River so you can shoot right over the waters. A dirt road divides the grounds into 2 halves, one facing the river, and the grounds are further divided into several clearings. This year, we thought it would be really muddy because theres were heavy rains that morning, but the ground was already dry by late afternoon.I recommend bringing lighters, lawn chairs and wooden boards so you have a flat place to shoot from. But Ive always found people to be friendly so weve borrowed lighters and shared boards in past years. Its probably not the safest environment because people are all around you, shooting fireworks, but thats typical for anywhere during the 4th of July. They have some staff patrolling around in tractors.

Close by the house, secluded woodsy area in a safe location, police were visible and the firworks were LOUD AND BEAUTIFUL, I have small grandkids so the thing I loved was the kid friendly back pack for small kids (21.00) that included sparklers, stink bombs, and little flare things, my total purchase came out to 40 bucks, and I got quite a bit of stuff. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They stay open till 12 midnight, I went around 10 pm and they were packed, they do have a fireworks display for the 4th and for 20.00 a car load you can watch and pop fireworks, safe environment and not have to worry about guns going off. The only complaint I have is the road has NO lighting and if you watch horror movies you dont like the feeling of driving down a long, dark street in the middle of the night. Im going again to buy more stuff (during the day...lol)

This is an awesome place to not only BUY FIREWORKS but to SHOOT FIREWORKS as well. John Palmer, who owns this fireworks stand AND the land (35 acres on the Trinity River), lets customers shoot fireworks too. The cost to shoot fireworks is $15 per car. You can even bring a grill and cook hotdogs, etc.

I would have given zero Stars if possible! This place is so dangerous and so unsafe! The most ghetto people come out here in light fireworks off, with no safety and nobody watching over them! Some dumbass launch the mortar shell into the sunroof on my new vehicle! Needless to say we are having to pay for it all out of our pocket now because of someone elses ignorance! This place should be held liable or have people out there making people like them off correctly!
