I used to love taking my dog out for walks. These days not as much, all the permanent bathrooms ae closed and the portable ones are limited. During the summer I will have to choose between being dehydrated or wetting my pants It is like they only want people on bikes to use the lake now. Even at the stone tables where theres a pavilion and kiddie park NOT ONE bathroom available. I am really disappointed because I love long walks.

This is a beautiful family and pet friendly park. Bring your bike...or walk the dog...have a picnic... feed the ducks! A local treasure that has residents cleaning and sprucing it up all year!

For the Love of the Lake is a non profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of White Rock Lake Park as an urban oasis. Excellent volunteer organization devoted to the Lake and surrounding park. Hosting Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Ups for over 20 years.
