Nice stadium. Apparently SMU is enforcing a very strict Covid 19 social distancing protocol - limiting capacity to 5%?! And no students. Traffic will not be a problem getting out.

SMU 2020 COVID-19 Homecoming.

Its a nice smaller football stadium. Its easy to get around the stadium and it has nice views all the way around. I didnt try any food. The grass hill in one of the endzones was fun to go to the bottom of and see the action up close. It was a bad time of the year for crickets however and there were quite a few at the game. The game was delayed due to thunder and lightning for 2 hours so I came into it late and when the weather was still poor. Overall, I enjoyed the game and stadium still.

Saw a great game between TCU and SMU. The stadium itself was fine but not family friendly. I dont know if it was because it was a rivalry game but to many fans were drunk and constantly cussing. Also we had to move twice because fans like to stand, which would be normally fine except they like to stand on top of the bleachers.

Saw the 2019 Servpro bowl there. Reasonable food and beer prices with a venue that lets you feel like you are right there for all the action!

Good times to be had. Energetic fans. Concessions leave a bit to be desired.

Visiting a friend that works at smu football stadium

The stadium comfortability was pretty okay and it gets pretty cramped sitting/standing with your peers/family. But, if the bathrooms were anymore hot and humid, I wouldve gone down to 2 stars. I felt like there was no attempt to make the bathrooms cool.

Rating this on a HS game.Smu just refuses to open more than a pair of gates and ticket offices. Keep in mind your HS playoff game probably averages more fans than smu does. Southlake Carroll Dallas Skyline silver fox game? Waited 30 minutes in the ticket line. Its an easily fixable problem smu has not fixed. And were talking about 4-8 more minimum wage employees for an extra hour or 2.Parking, concessions at half are issues. Cant blame smu for Dallas traffic. But you add that time to the other issues getting in.Give smu credit. Tcu refuses to go to field turf which costs them playoff games. Playoff games= possible recruits in your facility.Its 5 star to watch the game once youre in, however $6 for a 20 oz Powerade? 3.4 stars overall.Park at dart mockingbird station, prebuy your tickets at whatever cost.

Great stadium! Easy to locate and find parking. Once inside you have some great food and drink options. The crowd is great and the staff create a very safe and family friendly atmosphere.

Nice small stadium to see a game. Just bring your bankroll because they serve $8 12oz beers and $7 hotdogs. They do have budget concession area which is the same price per ounce, smaller portions same price point.

Great place for the TCU-SMU game. Two hour weather delay made for some time to spend under the stadium to stay dry and contemplate the history here.

Great stadium to watch the SMU team play football or other events. The venue is great, just make sure youre up to date on the current rules regarding what you can and cant bring into the stadium.

In my opinion Gerald J. Ford Stadium is the nicest in the DFW area. Great place to watch SMU and sometimes Texas high school football.

Not a bad seat in the house. Seriously, even the nose-bleeds are good. Tickets are affordable too.

Ford Stadium has a good field (astroturf) but the seating is somewhat limited. The field gets very hot in the summer.
