Love this place and the curators and staff are amazing! You can park easily in nearby parking garages, and the location is easy to spot with its candy pink awnings. Every inch of this art space has been curated to provide an incredible experience. Each room has things to explore and amazing photo ops! We felt incredibly safe as it was very easy to social distance and masks are required. The focus on women artists is so impressive! I cant wait to go back for my third visit!
We went 8/30/20 to this place for a little afternoon fun because I knew management was being great about sanitization and social distancing as well as not allowing too many in at once. We had an AMAZING time, the art is ridiculously cute and fun to look at. Everything about the place is larger than life and there’s something new to see everywhere you turn. The cute little bar (including fun non-alcoholic options for the kids) at the end is perfect with unbelievably tasty drinks. This is THE place to go to escape the world for a little bit!!!
Such a fun and bright place to spend an evening out at. Victory park has so many awesome spots and the ambience is amazing! Ceciley was extremely fun and out going and she made our scavenger hunt experience even more fun! The drinks are also very tasty and the bartender is very skilled in his mixology.
Awesome exhibit, small short and sweet. With an enormous amount of color and expressions of art overload. Met an awesome Texas native named Cecily that’s made our experience phenomenal! 10/10 would recommend!
This place was amazing. The art was awesome and the staff was super friendly. Definitely get the scavenger hunt it’s worth it.
I was kind of wary of bringing my boyfriend here at first. Its not exactly the sort of thing hed typically be into, but we were staying in Dallas and this had caught my eye and he was willing to go wherever I wanted to. I got the scavenger hunt added on and it was so worth it! We had a lot of fun looking for everything, and in the end you still get to keep your fanny pack which is actually really cool/stylish- definitely worth at least $5 in itself. The people working there were really nice, and the cereal bar was neat. I only wish they had some more non-alcoholic options. Youre basically reduced to one choice if you want it cereal-themed.Overall a very nice place for some cool pics but a lot more fun if you do the scavenger hunt as well. They also have polaroid cameras you can rent for $20 if you want to take pics that way. We didnt do it, but I kind of wish we had or that Id brought my own.
First off, it takes a lot for me to leave a review. Im all about supporting artists and I feel bad for complaining about the money but for how little you get for $50 (taxes+fees) for 2 people is way too pricey. Im sure theres a reason for it but at least let visitors know ahead of time what they are getting into. I wouldnt have minded as much had I known how short it would be. I went through their website but didnt see much about the size of it. We literally went through the whole place 3x in like 20 minutes. Didnt even get explanations for each installation. It was definitely a let down. :(
Beautiful art installations and lots of fun hidden places to explore. The only thing I wish was different is how many people they let in at a time. It felt like everyone was in each others way, especially when trying to take photos. We only used 25 minutes of the full hour because we felt rushed to get in & out to let other visitors take photos.
WOW! What an amazing staff! Their main focus was making sure you and your family were happy and enjoying your time! Beautiful rooms and amazing art. They remain incredibly busy but the staff acts as if you are the first ones who walk through the door. Wonderful staff and Beautiful art inside. Would reccomend!
Colors, colors, and more colors! I took my daughter there as a 10th birthday gift and she loved it. The scavenger hunt and gift pack was the best part for her. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because of the cereal bar prices. They could be just a bit cheaper. 2 small scoops of cereal and 1 mimosa was $11 .
We loved it...definitely do the add on scavenger hunt for the kiddos. Super cute and the bar area was great. Its a small venue but they keep the crowds down.
Great place for photos and to support artists.Very creative.
The woman up front greeting people on 8/29/20 at 5 PM gave me a migraine and was not a good choice for a greeter. My ears are bleeding. The woman inside helping give clues was fabulous and really made me relax and enjoy myself. She was rad and deserves a 10 dollar raise.
I loved this pop up exhibition! Awesome space.
We had so much fun being silly and taking pictures. The staff was extremely helpful. They were there to talk to you about the art and help you take pictures.
I took my grand daughter in celebration of celebrating her birthday for the weekend she absolutely enjoyed herself I think I probably had just as much fun as she did, great place to take kids.
If your in the area and appreciate the hard hard work of yarn and how it can come together to make art than this is a must see for you, the staff is very friendly and so informative.
Love their new exhibit. This is their third installment and each one has been unique and thoughtful in some way. The staff is super helpful if you come solo and want to take a pic. They even carry light wands to make your pics perfect. Theres plenty to interact with-- even the bathrooms are decorated! And dont forget to grab headphones. I cant wait to see what they come up with next.
One of the coolest places I’ve ever been to
What an amazing experience! The art and beauty of Sweet Tooth was not lost on me. From the moment you enter their colorful entrance with super sweet employees, you will already have your camera out and not want to put it away until your back in your vehicle. My glitter experience, with yummy cocktails and interactive art were so much fun. They provide a space to play dress up and a DJ that actually made me wiggle a lot. The employees they have roaming with the perfect lighting were so knowledgeable and helpful, I couldn’t imagine Sweet Tooth without them. I can’t wait to return and share this amazing place with friends. I suggest you go with a group if you can, because that will only make your experience more enjoyable!
Absolutely amazing are hostess with the super sweetest girl ever sorry darling dont remember your name well recommended to friends and family trust you enjoy lots of good selfie pictures...OXOoxxxO
Really nice props. l have never experience anything like it before. I love the place.
We came to check out Sweet Tooth Hotel during the Silent Disco party. That was really cool, and we had a great time. The art installations were fun and interesting. I can see how people might think that the space wasnt big enough. But I would definitely recommend going during an event like Silent Disco. To be fair, I cant really compare because this is the only time Ive been. But I loved the vibe. They give you headphones, and you can switch through 3 DJ channels, and dance, and have fun, and if you want to talk to someone, just take off the headphones. Also, I paid extra to get the light up drink. They give you a lot in that cool globe. Worth it! (Light up sunglasses were mine) Got a lot of great pics that made us look cooler than we are. Id definitely go again!
I didnt realize that there was a free section and a paid section. But luckily, the girl who checked my tickets for an advertised art show let me know exactly which areas I was allowed to be in. I dont know if they sell tickets at the door for the paid section but I wasnt offered the opportunity to buy one. The art opening was really cool.
Super cute for Instagram pics. Nice employees. I wish it was bigger. My only complaint was when I got to the food stand, I looked at the menu and I really liked their cereal. Looked super cute. And I was craving cereal... however, cereal was not included. Nearly $17 for a box.... a box... ummmm. Ok. I literally cried. (Pregnancy hormones) but still I was sad and looking forward to that.I’m excited to see other rooms the artist create. I think they said sept 2021 they switch out.
Fun, but a little pricey for how little there is. Staff was nice.
I totally thought I reviewed this! Its small but super cool they have lighting available to catch your perfect pic I love the different colors so I didnt ask for it much. Drinks were really good they have mock drinks for children which makes it even better! All around fun! Such a great experience cant wait for the next exhibit
Lots of fun! Great art!
Good to visit every once in a while when they change their decorations. Make sure to bring a portable charger for your phones when taking pictures. The staff in the rooms are helpful and they inform you on what’s all available there. Make sure to buy tickets ahead of time for best prices and what they have going on that day
It was very cool! My friends and I had such a great time here. I cant wait until they have new installations! Definitely going back.
The mystery was quick but it was a sweet experience.
A really fun art installation with rooms of various themes made by local creators. The space is interactive and most of the art is meant to be touched, sit on, and can be moved around (gently) which makes it basically a giant place to take Instagram photos. They let you into the hotel in small groups so you actually have a chance to get good photos.Buy tickets ahead of time as they tend to sell out!
This Discotech themed art gallery is super fun! My 11 yr old daughter and I enjoyed all of the blingy decor and unique photo ops The Prince-inspired Reign Bar was an awesome finishing touch! From what I was told, it is here to stay, and the themes will be changed every now and then.
Let the design be a surprise. Enjoy yourself! #colormehappy
Really fun and colourful art installation! The employees were great, especially Cecily who was super friendly and took awesome pics
Super fun place for great pics. Lighting not the best in all the rooms but staff did come around once with lighting wands. The bathrooms make a great photo opp too. Lol
I thought this place was an actual hotel for the longest time, but no, it is an entire experience! (but not a hotel) The art installations here are fabulous and are great for getting lost and submerged in an artistic world. The music venue here works wonders too to transport you to another dimension. The bar was fabulous. If you need to catch or book a show here, please do.
The lighting is a bit off. You can see a block of light on the wall in pictures. We also experienced a little electric shock when playing with the light ball
So creative and beautiful. Great for pictures
Amazing this wasSweet tooth hotel so vibrantVero was so nice
Fun and interesting..loved the colors..
THIS WAS SO SWEET! It was a wonderful art installation and I’m so glad they extended it so we could visit. Very creative and fun!
This place is pointless. Definitely not worth the price! The idea behind it seemed cool but it takes less than 5 minutes to see everything they have. It changes frequently, we went to the disco tech one but the videos I had watched had a refrigerator where when you walked into it there was a cool psychedelic room but there was nothing like that in this one. Very disappointed.
Was a unique experience! Great fun. Awesome display.
I like the concept a lot and its something new I have seen. The staff were nice and there is a bar and some creative rooms. But there was a lot less than I expected especially for 20$ an hour. Also the drinks werent included in that 20. The props also looked like they were for girls even though the staff said they are for both genders. They should definitely should have more props. Also they should add more art installations if they are going to charge 20$ an hour
A little pricey ($20 for an hour) but the exhibits are really unique. Very trendy and serves as great backdrops for photos. I really appreciate that theyve taken the time to add a lot of special event so that you can really enjoy the solace even if the exhibits themselves arent all that interactive. If youve been here recently and wasnt impressed, take the time to give this place another visit. Theyve recently expanded and the place is amazing. The exhibits are well made and you can tell that the artists are proud to have their names on it.
Absolutely rude not hospitable!
This art installation surprised me a little more than I thought. Having been to Meow Wolf, I was thinking it would be very similar to it. It was a lot different but still quite entertaining for a photo op. The glam of it was definitely the appeal, especially with the gorgeous props they had to dress up and create your own fantasy. If youre a novice photographer looking to get some good portraits of someone in a fabulous state than come here and spoil yourself with the flashy conglomeration of art they have craftily put together. The only thing Id say there is room for improvement in is their bar and their trinkets for sale. The drinks could be a little more well crafted (especially for the price) and the stuff they sell could be more unique and locally made. All in all a good way to spend a Sunday night with your girlfriends for an impromptu photo shoot.
This was a great stop for my niece Sweet Sixteen BDay. She was able to take a great number of pictures. The atmosphere was friendly and safe. Be sure to validate your parking ticket. I learned the hard way. This place brought smiles out the entire time. This is my beautiful niece in the photo arriving for the fun. The service was great...
This was such a fun experience! My friends and I loved going around to the different art installations. My favorite are was the “Dressing Room” where you got to try on a variety of fun and funky pieces. My friends and I had a good laugh, as well as many photos taken! The staff were pleasant as well, always offering to help take a picture or provide the right lighting.
I wasnt really sure what to expect as I just tagged along with some family who bought tickets. The art was cute but I think its really mostly for people to take Instagram photos because thats all I saw people doing. We payed extra to be key holders but it really wasnt worth it (so save your money if you want) because it just gets you some cheap props and a key chain. But it does support the artists so overall its a good thing. If this is your thing though go for it youll get some cute pics.
Lovely and so artistically fun!
Coolest place for pictures and Sunday desert
The art here was pretty cool, but it is rather short, and not really what I expected. Its more of a photo op, with the art pieces being your backdrops and props. There were only about 5 rooms, and you have to fight to take pictures as there are several other people in there with you. Honestly, I just went for the experience.
Sweet Tooth Hotel is an amazing venue! The Lip Sync battle that they opted to host with Too Fly Foundation was amazing. I would love to see more events like this at Sweet Tooth!
A must see! Hands on, amazing photo ops. Several rooms, silent discotheque (current, they will change), Purple Reign bar and our favorite was the dress up/photo booth area that will email pics to you.Allow extra time to find parking and walk in this area. You purchase tickets for specific time slots. Super helpful and friendly staff.
Went on a sister date here. It was very fun! Its an art installation of local artists. They have a really cute gift shop. They offered discounts at surrounding restaurants and bars with the movie ticket. There were other people there doing photoshoots. Everything looks good with boomerang
Great photo opps at this place. It was fun. It really doesnt take to long to go through and there drinks were a little pricey but it was still a great date night here. Take your time is all I can say.
Every installment has been great! Worth the cost!
Sweet Tooth is not only amazing to visit, but a perfect place for the event. The manager (Becca) was absolutely amazing and super attentive. Her turn around response was great and she did everything to help me and my team have a successful fundraiser event. I cant brag on the team enought--the audio team (Vero) met with our team early to assure all logistics ran smoothly. The day of the bartender (Sasha) and front store manager (Anna) were so sweet and helpful. Truly a dream team. Our guests could not get over how cute and fun and interactive the museum was. Even after the event, the manager followed up to assure everything goes well. As someone who has to execute a series of events annually, you remember good service and Sweet Tooth provided just that! Hope to partner with them again soon!
Very cool place and a great group of people. Definitely more than 3 to 5 rooms. Plenty to see. I dont see why others are putting it down. Specially those that are anonymous or show no record of ever purchasing a ticket. Yeah, thats not suspicious at all!
Not my thing. Sister made me go. Dont have Instagram I couldnt do it for the gram.
Had a great experience at Sweet Tooth, amazing venue with an even better staff. They treated my company like family when we hosted our event there. Would highly recommend!
I was expecting so much more than what this actually is. It took 5 minutes to see it all. There was only 4 rooms and the art was like something for a school play stage. Theres just not much to it. I could not believe they actually charge for something so underwhelming. Strange, very strange.
Really unique, well curated, and accessible art installations! Have seen 3 editions of it now and they keep getting better and better!
Went for a wine tasting here and the space was awesome. Very hip with eccentric art all over the place a separated well.
Not only a great representation of the vast talent in the Dallas art community, but a great experience and tons of fun! If youre looking for something different to do in Dallas, I cant recommend Sweet Tooth Hotel enough. Take your camera, bring your family and be prepared for some great interactive fun!
Sweet place for your IG feed!
Greatttt place ...nice staff.....dope location.....what more can I say.....this is just a taste of what great photo ops you can have..
Austin is awesome! Has great customer service and always has a smile! Made my Afro-Sweet tooth experience fun!
Sweet Tooth Hotel, is an awesome experience that allows some of Dallas up and coming artists space to display and sell their work. If youre looking to snag some cool social media photos, this is the place. The staff at Sweet Tooth works really hard to make sure youre getting a high quality and unique experience with every iteration!
Very cool experience I was expecting it to be a little more but the lighting did nit make for the best pics especially in the bedroom but overall had fun
So fun! I can’t recommend this place enough for all ages. The art experiences provided in one place are mind blowing. Inspires so much creativity. You’ll leave wondering what you can do!
Great concept and I like that they try and showcase independent artist work. However, I wasnt expecting it to be that small. There were a total of about 6-7 themed rooms to explore. Given its price point, I wouldve expected a little more to it.
Cool space. I recommend having a more strict divide @ the bar between adults + children.
This place is REALLY REALLY COOL. From the moment I walked in I literally felt like I was stepping into an effervescent dream full of lights and colors!! The art is BEYOND THIS WORLD. There’s plenty of galleries to take pictures in! I highly recommend it! (P.S. the bathrooms are no ordinary bathrooms!! I think using the bathrooms was my favorite part overall lol.)
It’s an experience of visiting an authentic Potemkin village in 18th-century Russia without the trouble of time traveling. It’s basically a backdrop for people who want good pics for the ‘gram. It’s an interesting diversion for that but offers nothing beyond that. There’s a reason the museum exhibit is behind closed doors as you buy admission.
The Sweet Tooth Hotel is a waste of time. They allot you an hour, but we saw all the rooms (and the bathrooms) in ten minutes. The most interesting part is the room with the cameras. This is definitely not worth $20 per ticket, maybe $5-$10. And forget about $40 for VIP, what a joke! And the bar was closed!
This place is for a specific type of people like the snapchatters and instagrammers of the world. The people working are very nice and will always help you take pictures. The art exhibits were cool to look but not worth the price if you dont indulge in the picture-taking aspect. Highly recommended for pictures, not as much for others
Came here yesterday for the first time for the Yelp Elite event that goes until Friday. When I arrived I wasnt given the warmest greeting, but was told that the hours were miscommunicated to us and unfortunately the exhibit was closed for an event. So, I was told to give them my name and email address and they would send me some free tickets later. Then I was told I could stay and check out the exhibit or I could grab a drink and check out the class. I was a little confused by that as the exhibit was closed, but I could still look at it? Either way I went next door and checked out a couple of the rooms and saw the dance class. I liked the room with the disco ball and the motorcycle, but the music was so loud I could barely think.I went to the bar and asked about getting a drink. The waitress who was at bar and was also a greeter at the door. I asked about the cost of the truly rosé and she gave me an odd and rude explanation that technically the bar wasnt open, but she could get me a glass of champagne, but it was kind of confusing and just felt forced. I hung out for a few more minutes, but kept getting odd looks from the waitress so I finished my drink and left.I didnt feel very welcome and from what I saw of the exhibit really didnt excite me. I may come back because of the free tickets, but I am still undecided.
This place was awesome on our trip to dallas. very well decorated. some interactive displays and such. it took us 30 mins or so to take pics and go through all the rooms! would recommend if you love colorful modern pop art installations.
The coolest part was the restrooms. You walk in and there was a room of mirrors, you turn the corner and there’s two big screens, like two things to take photos with and a stage of some people playing techno, bar is super tiny. But worst part was a lady doing readings. She walked in the hall, asked me and my bf for a reading and we said yes. After our readings she said “that’s 10$ a piece” which was never posted or mentioned. We put 5$ in our cashapp and she goes to put in her username and changed the amount to 20$, when i tried to grab my phone back from her she snatched it away and said she can get a manager to kick us out and i agreed. Manager was nice and apologized and let us continue our “tour”. We then left. Not worth the money at all, not even for the “experience”.
It’s hard to comprehend what this place was!Guess my inability to understand social media might be reason for it.But this is far from art. Please don’t waste your money
We only wanted to come in and see the bar part of the installation (which online says does not require a ticket). We told the bartender this and she said we still could not be served until we check in and purchased a wristband. After we spoke with Becca (different bartender) we told her that the installations were not what we wanted to see (they were cool but we would have willingly deleted all photos for our money back), the rooms were overcrowded and the rules they asked you to go by at the beginning no one was following. We told her how disappointed we were because we basically paid $80.00 for 2 drinks. She said she would get the manager to do something because she knew we had been lied to... there were people being served all around us without purchased wristbands (you still need one that says 21+). The manager then explained that she couldn’t give us a full refund but she would try to do a partial. Then she said she couldn’t do anything for us... The manager claimed she would send an email and I should here something back ASAP. But I find that to likely be untrue as well. (Especially because there must be some way to refund a card if you overcharge accidentally) Becca is a great bartender though and has wonderful customer care.Overall it’s just not worth 20 dollars a ticket and $15 a drink plus tip.
OmgI had a space photoshoot concept for my Candy Baebie IG (follow me @candybaebie)account and this place was perfect.I cant wait to seen the new build out and expansion.I wish you were allowed more time... But I get it.I think the experience was easy and well explained, the guests all respected each others space which made it nice to get some great photos.
Finally went here a few weeks ago and had a lot of fun! was a little surprised about how small it was and how we had to immediately leave after an hour, but overall was pretty cute!
Fun place to visit! Make sure to bring the parking ticket to be validated at the hotel. Personally, I would like the candy theme than the disco one.
Love love love! I honestly cant get enough. Everything this team does blows it out of the water every time. I think youll be pleasantly surprised.I think a lot of the negative reviews are from people ONLY going in for an Instagrammable moment, but this place is so much more than that!
Definitely not worth $20. I guess the exhibits that are in there change from time to time depending on the artists. When I went with some friends it wasn’t even that cool and the art displays were not very photo worthy. Not worth it.
I have been a huge fan since the beginning and continue to be amazed by the quality of work they produce. Discotech is a must see! Make sure to stop by their Prince themed bar on the way out! Drinks are awesome!!
It’s so pricy for what you get to see, but other than that it was beautiful just wish there was more for what I payed.
Love this place, if you love exploring you’ll definitely enjoy your time here
The first chapter of sweet tooth hotel started out small but the new chapter Discotech is amazing!!!!! With a space expanded to 3 times the size of the previous space and the same ticket price and a new Prince themed bar included! Loved it!
I went to Sweet tooth hotel yesterday. It was a very cute place to take photos. When you walk in there is a cute mini gift shop and two cool walls to take pictures with. Once you walk in the door to start the experience, there is a room with security cameras and a wooden bed. Next you walk through a hall with a rose wall to a plant room with another wooden bed. You see a corner of a wall with streamers to take pics with. Next you will see two bathrooms, one a disco ball bathroom, and the other a rainbow holo bathroom. Next you walk to a room that has a throne to sit on. There are headphones you put on in the throne room and the next 2 rooms I talk about. In each room there is a color on the floor that you change you headphones to so you hear the right sound. To the left of the throne room there is a bar you can get drinks at, and a motorcycle to sit on and take pictures of. If you go to the room to the right of the throne, there is a car you sit on to take pics with. There is also a wall that changes prints to take pictures with. Go to the right and there is a stage with drums, microphones and guitars to pose with. If you paid for the vip, you can go explore a wardrobe. Overall I recommend Sweet tooth hotel If you want to take cute pictures, but not for fun or looking at the art. Online is showed so many rooms that weren’t there. There was only 3 real sized rooms. It only took 15 minutes to get through the hole thing, but was a cute place.
I went for the first time this year and it was fun! The art work is amazing and I loved the disco vibes, would go again️
