Amazing way to spend a weekend evening! Interactive illusions make for crazy photo ops and boggle the mind! Chris and staff were SO helpful, guiding us through the exhibits, suggesting the best poses, and taking pics for us! Highly recommended if you’re looking for cool way to challenge the way you see things. Be sure to make reservations, tickets are only sold online.
It’s a very nice concept, but not worth the money. I’m not sure if the owner needs to come back and touch the place up or what? But if they’re going to charge as much as they did when this place first opened then the experience should reflect that standard. Things definitely does not look as nice as the photos you see online.I get that young kids visit and may tear things up & I also understand we’re going through a “pandemic” but the place should be maintained better honestly Or the price should be DROPPED.I wouldn’t go back.
This place is so cute and fun! The museum is super spacious and has way more rooms than you would expect. Each exhibit is hand painted and curated with so much detail that I was taking photos of the walls without me in it!! There’s a lot of interactivity and moving parts that also allow you to add variety the type of photos you take and it’s a super fun experience with friends :)
Out of all the cutesy museums we went to in Dallas this one top them all! I loved all the walls and the endless themed nooks. Definitely would go back again. Recommended to a few friends as well!
I have gone to at least 4 other Instagram museums in the past year and I have to say, this is THE BEST one that Ive gone to!What really sets Museum of Memories apart from their competitors is that they have extreme attention to detail. Other museums that Ive been to only decorate the photo areas and neglect everything else. This place paints literally every square foot of the building to make sure that the entire experience is top notch. Steffi and the team that put the museum together are extremely talented and you can definitely tell when you look at the beautiful props and murals! I was also surprised by just how many photo ops they were able to cram into the space. The lighting at each spot was near perfect during the day - something that is rare to find with some museums.I went right after Christmas and was delighted to find that they still had their holiday exhibitions up (shhh dont tell anyone - I might use these Christmas photos for next year!) It was really nice that they still had their old rooms up in addition to the holiday themed ones so that I could still get some cute photos in the cake room (one of my faves!)The staff here are really nice and were super helpful in assisting with photos and making sure everyone had a great time. I would definitely return here and will be telling all my friends about it!
Museum of Memories is AMAZING. You literally get to see and experience all the hard work Steffi and her team put into this place. Every space is beautifully thought out, even the bathrooms. There are team members everywhere ready to help you take a photo or assist you however they can. Would def recommend for anyone wanting to have some fun and take cute pics.
Nice picture to take professional pics. Price picture doesnt fit. Cost too much should cost $10.
This is a good museum but there are some closed exhibits.
My Friend, Brother, Sister, and I came here in early January from Fort Worth and I must admit when we first got off the bus our thoughts of the area were not the most positive (though we had no issues at all) but that all changed when we walked in the museum although a little pricey of a place it was an overwhelmingly positive experience the three of us grown men and our child sister all had a terrific time to the point that it alone wouldve made coming to Dallas worth the trip the exhibits are very fun and the smile on our faces during all those photos was truly genuine, the staff were very attentive and always asked if we needed anything Id highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a fun goofy time and take some funny photos and i can say that i will certainly be going back again at a later date
Its fun but too pricey. We took our daughter for her sweet 16 to take pictures in January. I dont know if they rotate props but there was alot of Christmas themed scenes. A little more variety would have been better. The employees were very nice though.
The cost of the museum is pricey for what you get / how long it takes to get through, but its pretty fun! its entirely an Instagram opportunity, less of an actual museum experience. cute decoration and good throwback playlist, so if you have the right expectation it can be a fun time. no student discount, but sometimes they have deals online you can ask about!
Its really fun, make sure you have your phone fully charged, you will be taking alot of pictures. Also if your going during covid, they have sanatizer downstairs. Nevertheless, bring your own, also selfie sticks also makes life a little easier in some aspects. Also go with a group of friends, its a great way to end a Texas/ Dallas trip.
Really not what i expected. Looks a lot better on pictures and Instagram posts. The stands are pretty low quality but with the right friends you can have fun anywhere. Also, the cereal bowl only fits one person and its not bolted down so be careful when jumping in.
The skinny: well-drawn pictures and paintings intermixed with pop culture references and throwback childhood moments.I had an early chance opportunity to go through the Museum of Memories during a soft opening, but I would definitely be a returning customer. My favorite photo opportunity was with the cloud room and Mean Girls bench. It was just awesome to emulate my inside jokes in a photo-friendly setting!Awesome time and awesome vibes!
This place was okay. I feel that the price point was too high for the production value. I would not visit again. The props were and photorooms were not greatly done for the price of entrance. Time spend in the room was totalled about 30 minutes and we took our time.
Had a time and a half with some friends here! Each room makes a thoughtful effort to bring you back to simpler times. Not only does it reignite old memories, but it puts forth incredible, decorative backdrops to create new ones. Great activity for families and friends alike! Highly recommend.
Very cool place, nice staff. But was disappointed at how few exhibits there really were considering the $25 entry fee. Came expecting it to take an hour to make our way through everything as the website suggested but come to find out its not even 30mins worth. If you come with a huge group where everyone wants photos at every exhibit Im sure the experience will last longer. Felt the price would be more fair at the $15 range.
This art installation is so adorable you can get some really cute pictures!! I love that its always changing from season to season.
This place was absolutely so much fun! I usually hate taking pictures but every single room just inspired me so much that I ended up being in so many pictures by the end of the night; my biggest regret was not spending more time on my makeup! Theres something for everyone, with cute backgrounds, engaging props, and just overall fun atmosphere.I absolutely adored the cake room and cloud room but thoroughly enjoyed every room. Definitely going to come back with my friends as well as well as take the extra time to dress up for it!
The museum of memories is amazing! There were so many references it brought me back to my childhood. Every one of their many rooms was thoughtfully designed and I enjoyed seeing all of them. A lot of the rooms incorporate interactive components, too, which made it that much better. Even the bathrooms are decorated!
We went to Museum of Memories on Labor Day weekend and had an ABSOLUTE BLAST!! It was my first time at an interactive pop-up installation art museum. As a creative person myself, MoM did not disappoint. Thanks goes to artist Steffi for her creative vision of the many rooms, not to mention meeting wonderful co-owner Zach and the friendly employees there. I was able to bring a suitcase full of fun outfits and props to change into and had the time of my life taking pics and jamming to some early 2000s music! Cherished memories were made, indeed! Highly recommended.
We went with a group of friends several weeks ago and had a fabulous time. Each room is a unique and creative theme and brought back so many fond childhood memories. We had many photos taken and acted out silly in each room :-) It is a great place to hang out with friends especially during Texas summer. I would definitely recommend this place!
Me and my best friend had a blast here, and were in our 30s and dont even have an Instagram! Just a fun and creative place to let loose and enjoy yourself.
Lots of fun and fabulous backdrops and areas to take photos in
Amazing place with a fun concept! If you like taking pictures with a throwback to your childhood days then I would definitely recommend this place! There are so many rooms to take pictures. By far, my favorite room was the one with clouds. With the lighting, you could like you floating with the clouds! Or by flying through the clouds like Son Goku :D
An amazing place to spend time with your family and friends. The painting and decoration are very creative. The pictures taken all looks fantastic and special. This definitely gives me a good memory of my fun experience !
Great place that has a lot of instagrammable exhibits. You’re able to take a walk down memory lane through the eyes of the artist and her personal story. Each exhibit not only displays fun and subtle references to growing up in the 90s but also allows for the viewer to delve deeply into our “museum of memories”.My experience here at the soft opening was enjoyable, I’d highly recommend not missing this.
Not only was this place visually stunning, but you feel a rush of nostalgia with every little detail! My favorite room is the black/white doodles with the splash of paint. Definitely brought me back to my childhood.Great place to go with friends. Little kids would love too!
Very fun place to check out. Great and unique interactive exhibit. They only allow groups at a time to go in so its never over crowded which actually gives you plenty of time and space to check out each room and piece.
Love this place! Everything is good vibes and good times. Im usually a grinch about pictures, but had a lot of fun interacting with all the rooms. You can tell it was all designed by one person and a major labor of love. Highly recommend
I had a blast at the Museum of Memories! We took tons of great photos and had so much fun guessing all of the 90s songs and shows. Perfect for a rainy afternoon or just a chill night out!
This place takes you back to that time in middle school when “so fetch” ruled your world or that time in college when you and your roommates screamed in front of the TV watching football. Each exhibit is carefully curated and evokes the senses and memories that you’ve cherished in the past - not to mention that it’s super instagrammable. I absolutely loved my experience here!
By far the best art installation/Photo op that I’ve ever been to! The space is huge, all hand painted with beautiful murals, and packed full with attention to detail.
Omg. These rooms are so beautiful. We really enjoyed such a great time with friends and families there. What a wonderful memories we have ! Thank MOM to bring the colorful time to us. Will recommend definitely!
Beautiful place to check out and take pictures! Very artistic exhibits as well as interactive exhibits that makes this museum stand out! Highly recommend checking out if youre in Dallas.
Cool museum that will definitely give you your fair share of nostalgia. Each exhibit shows a great amount of care and attention to detail. Good #Throwback for Thursdays, filled with plenty of Instagrammable details.
30 dollars for an exhibit that takes 10 minutes to walk through. A little over priced!
Such a fun experience! the art perfectly channeled the spirit of all our favorite childhood shows/activities, and also happened to make cute backdrops for our mini girls photoshoot :) extremely interactive exhibits and the staff is super helpful with snapping a quick, aesthetic pic!will definitely be coming back with more friends soon!
This brings me back to childhood - eating lucky charms and dreaming big. Fun for friends and families alike. Highly recommend!
Pretty cool museum I just wish they had better lighting bc the lights they have are pretty dim and contrast once you take some pictures, but 27 dollars is probably too much
Asked for a refund never got it nor did we go since the shut down in dallas
Nostalgic in the BEST way! Had so much fun walking through each room, reliving some sweet times, and making new memories.
A decent place to take photos for fun.
Spent about an hour in here. Lots of cute photo ops. Smaller than I thought. Paid $25
Alot of history saw some Bonnie and Clyde stuff!
This is one of the funnest photo ops Ive been to in DFW. I want to go back!
Great way to spend time with others! Would definitely recommend to all my friends
We had fun, but definitely over priced. It’s about 10 - 20 minute experience tops
Nice place. Grandbabies loved it.
Everything is insta-worthy! The best out of all other instagram museums I’ve been to. One artist, Steffi Tsai, designed and painted all of the rooms, which is amazing!! Love the nostalgic 90s theme :) I would recommend to girlfriends, boyfriends, families, and kids for some fun photos
Super cute photo-op exhibit located in the middle of downtown Dallas! If you are a 90s kid, this is definitely the place to check out! And even if youre not, this definitely has the millennial pink vibe LOL. Lots of cute backdrops thatll throw you back to your childhood to give a rush of nostalgia. It is possible to come alone, as staff is available to take pics for you, but I highly advise against this and recommend coming with at least 2 other friends! Make sure you come photo ready, and your phones and cameras fully charged and ready to go!! So many cute props available to take that perfect insta post! You can check out the different exhibits on their Instagram handle @heymuseumofmemories
Overpriced for props that were only seasonal.
This place is awesome! Beautiful art and fun.
Smaller than expected but cool.
Very expensive
It was a fun place to go.
Fun fun fun ! Perfect for group hang out
Great pieces of art to take pictures
I absolutely LOVED this place!!!
NOT accessible. No ramps or elevator. :(
5/5 trendy rating
