Always a beautiful selection and helpful staff. I also enjoy ordering online and being able to pick it up. It helps me stay on budget as long as I dont browse their lovely displays! One thing I do not understand is why on their website they indicate curbside delivery when I actually have to go inside all the way into the framing department to pick up my order. Isnt the reason for this offering to have less exposure? Just curious!

I like this store overall. It is not the largest but it has a great selection of silk flowers, cricut vinyl, alcohol ink and paint. Yarn selection is okay. The coupons are good. The pickup is in the back by framing and it is pretty slow. I have no other issue with store. The online app could be better.

Nice store overall. Took off a star because the curbside forgot about me after I called the first time. I was the only car so I waited 10 minutes and called back then they finally came out after that. But over all a good experience glad I didn’t have to go in this time.

I was looking for craft ideas online Saturday morning, went to Michaels website and noticed they offered Delivery. I submitted an order before noon and it was delivered SAME DAY before 2pm. It was AMAZING!!! I wish more stores did this!!!

Its usually a good experience going there but more and more often they dont have what Im looking for or a number of aisles are half empty. Also recently, not all, but some of the staff can be unpleasant/unfriendly at times.

They take all kinds of precautions to insure the safety of their workers and customers. The staff are super nice and helpful. Plus theres a really nice variety of items for all crafters.

Disappointed in their variety of craft supplies. The store was a mess Saturday. I was surprised that it looked so unorganized. I sure miss Pat Catan right now. Guess I will go to Joann Fabrics for craft supplies or Hobby Lobby.

This place not only has everything you need for just about any craft application, the have several options for everything. I am not a particularly crafty type, but when I need any kind of paint, ribbon, wood item, cloth/fabric... anything like that, this is the only place I go.

Really wasnt impressed. I admit I was only looking for one thing but they didnt have it. It was a blue jean patch larger than 5 NOT.

Staff not friendly at all. They only greet the ones who look like they do. Sad.. I walked past someone asking about some rope and the salesperson and shopper both looked at me!! I will never go in here again!

I love Michaels, I have been shopping there for years.

Michaels is never crowded, theres always so much room to freely move around. Theres craft materials for any craft or project you could think of, theres so many varietys of prices, brands, and material qualities. I purchased paint holders, like those little containers you can put unused paint in. I use them every single time I paint now, I love them. I only had the money for the cheaper ones, plus I didnt wanna pay a lot just to try them out. I like using them, my only problem with them is a put a more watery paint in them to start, and they leaked, so Im sure you couldnt leave your paints in them for a while without them drying out. Because if water could get out, Im sure air could get in, and dry them out. So keep in mind that at Michaels, youre very likely to get just what you pay for while youre there. If youre looking for any kind of craft material, glue guns, paint pens, fake flowers, decorations for your house, canvases, picture frames, art kits for children, anything you can think of, Im sure Michaels has it for you.

Anytime I need a special piece of art or photography I need framed....this is the place I go. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and do an excellent job of framing my special pieces. Today the lady behind the counter found me a coupon for 40%off. Quality work.

You can get pretty much any craft item here. The even have ideas and directions in some aisles. Occasionally they offer classes.

I BOUGHT MY OPEN CHRISTMAS TREE HERE AND SOME ORNAMENTS. MY NEIGHBORS HOT WIFE DECORATED IT WHILE I WATCHED. SHE WENT AND BOUGHT MORE ORNAMENTS AND BROKE INTO MY HOME TO ADDED THEM TO MY CHRISTMAS TREE WHILE I WAS AT WORK.

Tried buying a screw for a Levis belt they didnt have and the store clerk showed no interest in possibly trying to look at the item on my phone to possibly order the item...

Very friendly and helpful workers! I am also encouraged that Michaels hires people with handicaps. It is more important to have friendly, helpful and courteous people than to discriminate against a handicap. I was able to get what I needed and received some great suggestions for my project.

This store usually always has what I need for my DIY stuff at home. For my little crafts. They are very helpful and will help you find what you are looking for.

Had associates walk by me 3 times as I was waiting in their designated online pickup area. Didnt even speak to me. I had to hunt someone down in the back of the store.

Oooof... multiple issues with the register attendant. Had to go back in to get a refund. Thankfully we didn’t leave the lot yet. May shop here again, but hopefully that lady isn’t working. She was at least cordial, even if she didn’t understand how to work the register properly.

HORRIBLE place to shop. I went to buy colored pencils, not normal colored pencils but a $189.00 set. Asked an associate for help, she tried to be very helpful but was not familiar with policy so she went to ask her manager. The manager there was rude, doing nothing that could not be put off for a second instead she wanted to put off helping us on to her front cashier who was very busy HELPING and checking out other people in the LONG line she had. I just left. Will not shop this store ever again. I feel very bad for the workers there that have to do their job and the managers too seeing she/he is lazy.

I use Michaels to buy t-shirts. I usually buy every color they have then after about 2 years I do it again. Cheap way to get new shirts

One employee can ruin an entire experience. I asked for assistance, she never looked me in the eyes or even acknowledged my question. Ok Ill go over to Target and see if they have the item Im looking for.The 2nd star is because the girl at the register saw the situation and tried to assist me. She looked up to see if they had it in store. Or if they could tell me where else to find it.

A great place to shop for crafts & holiday items. The only thing I dont like is that when they stock shelves, the employees leave the flattened boxes blocking items. I shared this w/a manager in the past & its still happening. She did reach out to me but she was never available whenever I stopped in.

I asked an employee for help finding something and she was annoyed that I asked her because she was sticking. Also when I was ready to check out the cashier never greeted me I had to speak an make him speak to me. He asked if I had a rewards account I said I think so Im not sure i may have one can you check. He said its okay you dont need it. I said can I give you phone number to look it up. Turns out I had a rewards account and he just didnt wanna give the credit

An array of crafting goods. My only complaint is a lack of stitching patterns but they are hard to find in brick and mortar stores. Although plenty of accessories for sewing/stitching needs.

Well I just love this store. Great prices. Wide selection. Well stocked. Something for every crafting and artistic need. The store is clean. Handicapped friendly. Parking as well. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Conveniently located. Look at Michaels online for coupons for 40% off on regular priced item. Order online pickup in store. And Micheals has great classes for all ages in Arts and Crafts.

All the arts and crafts I could dream of

Seems another the perfect sized store for all sorts of home crafts. Amateur artists will find a decent selection, but not for materials even a little bit specialized. Good amount of Cricut supplies. Occasional sales and coupons can make materials affordable.

People are friendly for the most part but most importantly there are more options here than some other Michaels.

It is okay to go to if you go there a lot, or if youre just browsing for art supplies. If you are going in searching for specific items and have never been here before you might have some issues. They have similar items scattered around set at different price points making decision making difficult. Items that should have their own independent section (like adhesives and tapes) do not and unless you pace back and forth you will miss them. Most adhesives are found in beading and model making by the way. When I tried to get assistance during my last visit to find some particular obscure items, employees were suddenly unavailable. When I did find one she was already helping a person shopping of from a school supplies list. She did not know what he was looking for even though he had his syllabus for her. I ended up getting my odd ball items from Amazon at what Im assuming a higher price.

They dont carry some products I use to get at Pat Cattans. It is also hard to find someone to help locating things.

Michaels bought out Pat Catans, which was a bigger store and carried more items. I have trouble finding things and theres rarely anyone to ask. I eventually found what I wanted.

I have never had a problem finding what I need for my projects at Michaels. They were rearranging displays when I was there so I had to ask several times where things had been moved to, but each time the associate was polite and helpful.

I upped them one star because they finally hired a guy who’s pleasant. I have spent a small fortune there but dread the staff. I now try to keep stocked up on Amazon or make the longer trek to Hobby Lobby to avoid them. Their coupons are designed to manipulate you into shopping daily and feeling like you got a deal on an item who’s retail value is grossly inflated. Didn’t Kohl’s and Justice run into problems for this reason?

I went into Michales at Chapel hill this evening and left without what I went in for and will never return. I went in for some mat for a frame I had already previously bought another Michales. When I got to the frame department after standing there for 5 minutes with girls at the counter in the back laughing and talking someone finally noticed me and came over. The mat lady was then called over to assist me, or at least what I thought she would be doing.. she asked how she could help and when I explained what I needed and told her I was quoted 16.00 she laughed and said that she didn’t know who I spoke with but that the mat I needed would be 26.00. I told her I did not need anything fancy just white mat and didn’t understand why it was 26.00 compared to 16.00. She then decided to help the person next to me who was picking something up, so the other customer did not have to wait. She then proceeded to go find the other customers online order leavening me stand there. She finally came back and started talking to me again to then stop again to give another customer she knew on a first name basis... she finally came back to assist me and as we talked about about why it would be so much she said it’s 26.00 because of her labor. I said it’s 10.00 to have you cut the mat.. she then rudely made a comparison. She said “when you go to the salon to get your hair done do you pay the hair stylist” and laughed. I walked away and went upfront and told a manager my experience. I have never been so rudely treated. Thanks to Tina the farmer who treated me this way I will never return to this location. People may read this and say well who cares, but no one deserves to be treated or talk to this way. I truly hope the manager talks to Tina so that no one else has to write a review this long and he as upset as I was. On a good note, I was able to drive to Hobby lobby tonight and get what I needed while dealing with profession and polite staff.
