Beautiful park has really grown up over the years since our last visit! Lots of great facilities for disc golf, kids soccer, jogging, hiking and fishing!

Weve never been here even though its rather close to us. Our son had a USMC poolee family event here. There is a fee to enter the park but we were covered. Facilities and playgrounds all looked very nice. We didnt explore a whole lot other than the pavilion we were at and the playground. Would visit here or consider holding an event here as well.

Arguably the best disc golf facility in the state. 4/5 full courses. Excellent design. Has a pro-shop with snacks, drinks, discs, clothing, maps, etc... Also has bathrooms so you dont have to pee pee in the woods.

Nice park, has a designated area for dog walking, but people keep walking dogs on lake trail instead and leave poop on trail, and dont keep dogs away from people with allergies. You have your own area just for you, use it!!! Inconsiderate jerks, but my dog is special and perfect

My partner and I were driving through Indiana on the way toward Chicago. We had our dogs in tow (11 year old boxer mix and 3 year old English lab) and we planned to stop in Crown Pointe, Indiana to meet a friend for dinner. We got to Crown Pointe much earlier than planned, so we looked for a park to let the dogs run. With little effort, we found Lemon Lake County Park. Wow! The dog park was a seven acre site within Lemon Lake County Park, and we were amazed. Weve been to way too many dog parks which are nothing more than a fenced in area of a field that used to be grass but had turned into a dirty dust bowl. Lemon Lake County Park, in contrast, was an oasis for dogs. The site was beautifully manicured, and provided many areas for dogs to wander off and investigate. The dog park was entirely fenced in, so there was never a worry about losing the dogs. We were in the park around 5:30 pm on a Saturday, and we had the area to ourselves. We dont come to Indiana often, but if we are in the area, again, we will stop by.

Its a nice place, just a little small. Its a perfect place to go fishing, and there are a few hiking trails. The trails were a bit wet when we went and wet socks dont make for a good time, just bring boots and some bug spray!

My wife passed away April 2nd and we have to find someplace to hold a memorial service. Everybody that was at the service commented what a nice place it was. Lots of Indiana residents didnt even know it was there I was very happy I chose Lemon Lake.

Huge wonderful dog run that was well maintained. The dogs could take off and explore without getting into trouble.

This was the first time I have been there in years. I took my niece and we had a fantastic time.

Been going there for years and its been getting nicer there. More parks areas, cleaner trails. Used to walk it with my grandmother and the governor way back when. Fun times.

My favorite place to go to spend some time outdoors. I dream of there being more love for this place as a whole because it’s a huge area with lots to explore. There’s a large playground for children, a lake path you can walk in the shade, multiple baseball fields, tennis courts, and pavilions, and a forest to explore with the help of disk golf paths. Can’t show my love for this place enough.

When I first came here to play disc golf I did not know what to expect. now that I have played a multiple rounds here I can tell you that anybody who likes disc golf would love this park!

Gold and Red disc golf courses are great. Keep an eye on your discs though! The rough is rough.

They have a wonderful dog park, it is so big, dogs can really run.

Wow!!! What a hidden joy. The walking paths are lengthy and the kids playground is HUGE.

I drove 1.5 hours to attend my boys first cross country meet of the year with well over 1,000 people in attendance and guess what...NO BATHROOMS!!! They were all out of order so we had to hustle up the hill 1/4 of a mile to find a vaulted shack that hasnt been cleaned in who knows how long! On top of that, how are the runners supposed to do their best if they arent given a way to relieve themselves before the race? If the facilities were not up to par, the event should have been postponed or repairs made a priority that week.

Beautiful place to have parties (plenty of shelters) I like that they have a small child and bigger child play equipment and especially like that there are picnic tables connected to the play area. Its free when no attendant is on duty, otherwise its $5 residents and $8 non resident per car.

Pretty park with lots to do. Cost to enter seemed a little costly.

Great place for family, walks. Didnt give 5 stars lacking some. The Parks are very well kept for kids, but Trails use to be very well kept they are Slacking lately. Dog park area looks like they have givin up on it. Maybe for lack of use, one side is marked off. The other side was great for the dogs to run. Large area fenced in.

Space for dogs to run free inside fence. Frisbee golf courses. Few small beautiful lakes. Good nature tracks to follow. Shelters and cooking spots for outdoor parties. Pootch Park driveway and parking lot in good condition after fixing it recently.

If youre into disc golf, this is the best place to go in the area. There are five unique courses that range from around 4,500 feet in length up to around 8,500 feet. If youre new I would definitely recommend the white course since its the shortest of them all and mostly par 3s. Dont let the really longs second hole discourage you!

The park is very nice. There are many things to do from fishing, walking trails, playground, and disc golf to name a few. This is a good place for parties and get togethers. I also saw a wedding party come for outdoor photos.

This park has everything needed for sports on a good summer day- trees, open grass, fields, beach volleyball...

Ive been going here for years. This park has something for all. Hiking, fishing, frisbee, playground and picnicking.

The map for the hiking trails is outdated and the trails have no markers telling you if youre even on a trail or where they begin

Great place to hang out in the summer

Its a little run down since the last time we were there. Kinda disappointed it looked the way it did.

No toilet paper or paper towels in the ladies restroom. We are here for a cross country meet. Also only two of the three are in working order. Maybe they should schedule the meets elsewhere. Someone in the restroom commented well this is better than last time when the bathrooms were locked. Thanks to the guy in the concessions, he gave our girls some napkins and apologized.

As a disabled Vietnam Veteran I depend heavily on the 4 wheel scooter the V.A. gave me.The parking lot, the internal park roads, and the walking path around the entire lake all have been freshly black topped within the last 3 weeks.To ALL whove had a part in the care and upkeep of Lemon Lake County Park in Cedar Lake, Indiana.I Thank YouRESPECTFULLY, W.Bloch

The path was nice around the lake. There are nice species of trees and the other lake is a preserve for birds with ducks on it. There is also a nice frisbee golf course in the park

Attended our annual family reunion at Lemon Lake today. Pavilion was very large, had enough picnic tables for about 70 people with enough space for serving a full meal. Beautiful day, park had plenty of space to enjoy lawn games. Bathrooms were just a short walk away, were clean and well supplied.

I didnt know what to expect. Id never heard of it before, but it was just a really well done recreational area. Its definitely worth a visit and we will be going there again.

Absolutely wonderful place numerous trails brand new park for kids and adog trail. Small parking fee but hours of fun and relaxation even some fishing with a small convenience store on park premises

Absolutely gorgeous park, well maintained, we had my daughters graduation party in shelter and it was a gorgeous place with lots of greenery and lots of garbage cans nice clean floor in picnic tables. Very nice charcoal grill which we used. I would definitely have another party there.

Sadly it looks like the park is falling apart. The walk ways and roads are horrible. Used to be a beautiful park 10-15 years ago. Now it’s all about the frisbee golf. Let’s get back to the paddle boats and family oriented stuff.

Ive been visiting this park for the better part of 17 years. It has been one of my familys favorite places to hike and play. However, I must say that I am concerned by the conditions of the paved walkway around the lake. It has become broken, uneven, warped, and otherwise unusable for the majority of the length. Also, the childrens playgrounds need to be added and mulched.

Amazing complex with 5 yes 5 full courses. The pro shop is super friendly and there for you.

Did not enjoy. Unable to figure out whether and where to pay for parking. We feared being towed, so left. Definite squeal like a pig vibe.

Nice trails to walk on and a couple of frisbee golf courses you can use. Nice pavilions to eat at and a nice play ground for the kiddos. Nice lake for fishing and a nice relaxing place to get away from all the craziness of life. Nice little shop for you frisbee golf needs also.

The space here is amazing, but it could use some TLC. Fixed tennis courts and some attention to the playground would be nice.
