We just saw Alabama Story and it was incredibly well done! My 88 year old mother, 11 year old daughter and I all raved. It was poignant, well written and well acted. Really appreciated it. We get to the playhouse only once a year. So glad we made it this year. Thanks.
Elvis was great thank you so much for giving me and my husband a date night back again. Not sure we can wait to get back to coming regularly but sure hope it is soon. Great actors and actresses. We are never disappointed. God Bless you all!!
We love the playhouse. Quality acting, amazing people, and always a blast. Of all the places thats where we went for my bday because it is always special.
We saw Elvis. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. We enjoy coming over here from Murfreesboro.
Very good play.. recommend if you come to crossville.. people very friendly and helpful
This place is great it really is i love the staff crew and everybody who makes the shows lively
We really enjoy attending the playhouse. The virus has really upset their schedule but they are doing everything possible to continue while still practicing social distancing. We saw Elvis has left the building this afternoon. While not as funny as we expected everything with Jason Ross in it is entertaining. He always steals the show. Note to costume dept:. Elvis wore really big belts
Very enjoyable time watching Elvis Has Left the Building!
Loved Smoke on the Mountain, outdoor performance. Go and enjoy!
Love this place and go every time I get a chance
This is a fabulous professional playhouse. Acting is superb. If you can catch a play with Jason Ross, be ready for fantastic! Two theaters and constant offerings. A small snack bar and gift area
Extremely entertaining. Funny, welcoming, and very professional.
First time going to the Playhouse since moving to TN. Saw Tuna does Vegas. It was fantastic. The two actors playing so many parts was amazing. Quality production.
Been a few times never disappointed
Excellent! Superb talent and top-notch productions always make a trip to CCP a fun, entertaining experience. We highly recommend!
They are currently closed. but i love the place when opened
Loudest crowd after Covid
The play “Don’t Dress for Dinner was fantastic! However our seats (Sec:CenterRow BB Seat 301and 302) were the worse! Our view off the stage was blocked by a wall. We could only see a small potion of the stage! While the ushers got center row seats! Staff... sit in these seats and see what I am talking about! We moved to empty seats right before the play started... however the people came in that the seats belonged to ...thus we moved to different empty seats. The usher was no help stating “:I will take care of it...she did nothing! Except go and sit in her center seat! The seats were better but still saw a lot of the back of the actors head! Really frustrating after spending thirty dollars to see the play!!!!
What a wonderful place for great shows. All of the shows have been excellent. We are fortunate to have this caliber of entertainment in a small community.
This place has touched my heart since i saw shrek and what keeps us going is the wonderful staff special thanks to britt Wesliejason and everybody else who makes every preformance lively ccp is better than tpac best preforming arts center on the planet.
I love the venue and the quality of shows is great. I am giving it 4 stars because the audience did not know how to act at a public performance. It is totally unacceptable to hoot & holler during a live performance at the theater. Screaming at the top of your lungs is not how you show your appreciation for the actors. I noticed in the program that there is a page about how to act during a show, and I hope they will add something about screaming. Also they need to say something about it when the director comes up and speaks beforehand.
Ref, White and Tuna was a fantastic show! Jason Ross and Patty Payne did a wonderful performance! Kudos to the staff for their hard work!
The plays they have are very good they have them for all ages
A group of seniors from my church came to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. We were disappointed that the play was not a Biblical play. Much to liberal for our beliefs. We left at intermission. I did explain to the girl at ticket counter and she was super nice. I understand that she has no control over the performances. I think there’s just not a lot of demand for conservative beliefs anymore.
Id never attended any performing Arts shows ever in 55 years. Im hooked amazing staff and acting members my next show TOMARROW Young Frankinstien.
What a lovely venue. We saw Holiday Inn last week. The professionalism of the acting, singing and orchestra exceeded our expectations. You must see this.
Our family has attended many productions over the last several years. The performance quality and value pricing tickets is a winning combination!
The Playhouse gets a ton of shows every year. Most have local actors performing, however some of the plays have traveling actors in the lead roles. Even though they are small, the quality and production value is very respectable.
Very enjoyable! Ive enjoyed several plays. They where well put together and well maintained. Very nice place to go for a night out.
Great performances, low prices, wonderful experience!
Enjoyed the Madagascar Show. Fun for the whole family. Everyone including Staff and Actors were FABULOUS
Wonderful idea to go here when you need to get up and have done fun
Our visit to the playhouse was to see Annie Get Your Gun, with Kelly Cash as the lead (Annie Oakley), playing May 2 - July 11 2014. Our tickets were for the 2:30 afternoon showing on July 3rd.We purchased tickets online which were fairly reasonable (~$25, with kids under 18 being ~$13!), although since we were vacationing, seating was limited, and we sat in the first and second rows with our party of six. This made viewing the side stages (which were used for several scenes) much more difficult. If you have the option, take seating further to the rear, as that would seem to be a better option than the front rows in this venue. The production proved to be better than I had expected, and the leads (Kelly Cash and Britt Hancock) did a wonderful job. The story (with some minor modifications) was as expected, and the musical numbers, ensembles, and orchestra provided good accompaniment. The only downsides were the playhouse and parking access. The playhouse is showing its age, and some signs (internal, superficial?) of water damage and dated decor. The parking is typically designed for arrivals, and not departures. Given the exceptionally reasonable pricing, Im overlooking these shortcomings and rounding up my 4.5 start review to 5. Id recommend this particular production to anyone, and if other productions are of similar quality, would consider seeing any of their productions money well spent while in Crossville, TN.
I really enjoyed my visit to the CCP to hear Mandy Barnett sing in her hometown at what she said is her favorite venue.
Outstanding broadway quality shows. Professional cast. Incredible music and dancing. Dont miss a chance to go.
This place is awsome for a great family gathering and will laugh seen barefoot in the park and sen a few show here and will be back for more thanks and GOD BLESS the staff is awsome also
Very enjoyable! Ive enjoyed several plays, some more than once. Well put together and well maintained.
Broadway-quality entertainment in a small town, for a fraction of the cost.
Sweeney Todd was Incredible.Cant wait to see what production willbe performed for Halloween next year
Have been going to the playhouse for 30 plus years. Disappointed they are not having good classic plays anymore like Fiddler On The Roof, Sound of Music, etc. Holliday Inn was a disappointment. Was it really necessary in one act for the lady to have only a slip on? This certainly degraded the musical. This seems to be the new normal with millennials in management. When Mr. Crabtree was in charge all the performances had class and were above reproach. Hope things improve in the 2019 season. Quinine Harper
When traveling to middle TN, we love coming to CCP!! Seeing Sister Act today. What a wonderful array of talent under one roof. If you are in the area, get tickets to this one.Praise Him with some excellent comic company!
Weve enjoyed all of the shows we have seen here and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Well be there tomorrow to see Smoke On the Mountain. Weve seen The Sanders Family Christmas two times.
This is such a family friendly place. Their plays are very professional and well done. We love to go here.
Great way to spend an afternoon. The singers/actors are very talented. Well worth the visit.
The people the work are nice the cast are 2 we went to see Sweeny todd .
This has become our home away from home. We thoroughly enjoy this place. Have been getting season tickets for years now. More fun than Dollywood!
We really enjoyed both Sister Act and Beauty and the Beast, however we didnt realize that Sister Act would not be the same music, so that was a little disappointing. Didnt have cash for consessions, so no treats for us the first time. Seats are not staggered, so hard for us shorter people to see, but the performances were fabulous. Revamp seating would be our only suggestion. Staff and casts were super friendly and helpful.
Excellent as always.
The beauty and the best was awesome. The cast and crew put in a really great show.very entertaining full of laughs and drama.
Everyone needs a good laugh. This is your chance, and the talent in Sanders Family Christmas is amazing.
Had never been and was so amazed at the talent and singing. Will go again for sure. Saw Mary Poppins and really enjoyed it..Everyone should go.
Very good play. One of the best we have seen
This is a great place! Would give 5 stars if they had theater style popcorn instead of microwave popcorn like you make at home.
Great show as usual. Drowsy Chaperone is full of talent and very well done and very funny.
It was a very good show. We watched the Marvalous Wonderettes and laughed throughout the show. Tommorrow we are watching The Mousetrap and hope it is as good.
A wonderful experience. Great show and cast and very friendly and helpful staff.

Great performances! Must stop to see local plays.
I came here as a kid, came back 25 years later to see Million Dollar Quartet... And it was WONDERFUL ! I suggest picking out a show, and attend !
The website in my opinion is very poorly designed and needs to be improved. It needs to feature a now playing section. The plays are wonderful.
Great great singers and laughs !!!
Last night we saw Smoke on the Mountain, fantastic!!! We laughed so much and had a great time.
