Great park in Costa Mesa for easy walking trails (great for people with younger kids). Big grassy area with picnic tables as well. Good tree cover for shade. Also great to run through, especially as trails go through Talbert Regional park as well.
Beautiful off the beaten path park. Wide open space, plenty of paths to adventure on. BBQ and tables, nice picnic area. Able to back my rv into a nice secluded spot without any problems. Definitely recommend this place. From 7 a.m. till 6 p.m. Luv the paths lead you the ocean
Great place to take a leisurely walk. Lots of trails. Peaceful. Picnic tables & grass areas to enjoy a nice afternoon .
Perfect for Picnics.Nice and quiet.Easy trails that loop around to walk or perfect for little ones with bikes.
ONE OF THE BEST PARKS OF COSTA MESA. ALOT OF CLASSIC MEMORIES HERE. 10/10 RECOMMENDED. ESTE PARQUE ESTA SHILOOO!!
Great place for hike, dogs loved it as well! Loved the view!
This was a nice park that I found on Google Maps. It was a very nice park with no bathroom but BBQs and playground and a surprisingly nice walking area. And it went right up 2 the Talbert nature reserved. And all this time Ive been in the area I have heard of sheep Hills oh, and now I finally went there! I should have been there 20 years ago with a BMX bike, but better late than never I suppose. Me and my family had a lot of fun watching the people fly through the air on their bikes. I was really happy to see something like that today. The walk was flat but there were Meandering trails that go up to the Santa Ana River bed. This was a very nice walk, we spent a few hours
Great park for the family to enjoy time together. Beautiful scenery.
Been coming here since I was a kid. Still a great place!
Great hideaway!
Great local trail in city
Nice small place.
The park has good and nice walking trail. Peaceful place, to relax and enjoy nature.
Is a really nice park but is a big problem they dont have restroom thats a big concern
Love this place, medium hike, beautiful view
Nice hidden gem
A bit of wilderness in town of Seal Beach. My dog found lots to sniff. Peaceful. Toward Seal Beach Blvd theres a side trail to north w/boulder plaques about the Native Peoples, easy to miss. Good for relaxed stroll.
WELL THE PHOTOS ARE NICE OF THE YELLOW FLOWERS. I GRABBEM. AND PUT EM UNDER MY STRAP OF ALICE PACK AS I RIDE BY FAST WITH ALICE PACK ON MY BIKE
Grand open area, nice place for animals and friends, for get togethers and fun, but the homeless like to litter, dog walkers avoid carrying plastic bags, and the park itself appears to be taken care of by people on minimum wage. Its okay, but not for everyone
I love this place because the food is delicious.
Nice little Park in the middle of a friends neighborhood. Too a very pleasant walk. Wonderful space.
Good park to hang out and and do some basic nature walks
This is an amazing little park in the middle of Costa Mesa. Its actually not little, I take that back, its surprising big for where it is located. You can hike around (short distances) in the park and even follow it out to a larger nature preserve. Theres a small stream, beautiful trees, and picnic areas. Its great for kids, and its definitely a gem for anyone who loves the outdoors.
A nice cozy park. Nice views. Nice and relaxing.
Beautiful, park that feel private- great for a picnic, stroll or just to spend some quiet time.
It is very peaceful for a walk get close to nature
Its a nice park but had some teenager weirdly hide out in the playground toys while children were playing and some random family purposely parked so that no one else could park near them so therefore taking 2 of the 3 spots....
So much fun and beautiful woods
Cute quaint residential park, nice to take a short walk through.
Quiet park very few amenities at the lower area. Not enough tables or bbqs, there are coyotes on the trails evening time so, caution to small dog owners is advised.Good area for young kids up top & kickball areas @ the bottom areas.
Nice park, small parking lot, but there are more spots further in. You can also park along the street in the neighborhood.
Nature at its best. Taste of heaven. Supernatural in the natural.
Love the quietness of the place, perfectly named too! I just literally sat and enjoy my time there.Downside of the place is the weird couples in their cars. But other than that very lovely place
Love Canyon Park. Such A Beautiful Place To Walk.
I would give it five stars if they had restrooms. But thats just me.
Close but still outside. Go listen to the birds.
Great place to throw family partys at the park and also take a walk through nature lots of shade to keep u out of the heat
A sleepy gem in Costa Mesa, and gorgeous in the spring time. You have two accesses, one off of 19th St, and the other off of Victoria St.
This park is massive. My boyfriend and I were looking for a new place to workout and this is the best place we could have possibly found. There wasnt a ton of people around and we were able to enjoy the grass and the sun and utilize one of their many (very clean) park benches. They also have a nice jungle gym and running trails that well check out next time (just the trails)
If you go with your dog i would bother right now place is a complete mess. Foxtails everywhere. Get one in your dogs ear and its can cost couple hundred to take out. Plus it just a ugly mess. Not sure why the dity would weed wack such a biomass and not attempt to clean some of it up.
Beautiful park leading to magical place of beauty a wonder.
This park is so nice and quite, nice little playground. Also theres a lot of space to walk around, I wouldnt call it a hike, but a nice little adventure walk to your kids or stroll on a bike.
I really enjoyed walking with my daughter in this park.
Very peaceful place!
First and only time at this park. Visiting some family and took my son here. Its easy to find, no graffiti, not TOO much litter. No walking trails or anything just the park. Very accessible. No bathrooms. All around okay park experience.
We loved it and definitely liked taking the dog for a walk while enjoying the fresh air!
Romantic, kind of private place.
Chill place to relax
Sneaky hidden gem. One of the best little parks in OC. Don’t tell anybody. ;)
Great place to take a walk nd get your mind out of things
Wonderfully green park. Nice picnic tables, and walking path. Lovely trees. Unfortunately, no bathrooms.
Love walking here. Very picturesque, makes me feel like I get away from the city without the travel.
Peaceful, beautiful surroundings...very nice path...Great for dog walkers.
Fun and good place to explore
When I go to canyon park I feel lost in the things I love
Wheel of Canyon Park its a beautiful place to walk.
Irs ok
Great place to chill n blaze it for sure
Great jogging trails, but the Sunset Cliffs trail is deteriorating.
Love waking through here with my dog. Its my favorite place.
It was okay could use a little more space but overall a nice little park
Lot of trails near the river
Love this park
This park is nice and big with very beautiful trails. Might not be the perfect park for dogs as there are many foxtail plants along the trails.
Beautiful huge area
Beautiful open environment.
Love strolling through here with my dog!
Love this place its my favorite part and my granddaughters today
Beautiful location!
This is a great place to hike around, look for cool rocks and discover a bit of nature. Not too mention its a beautiful place to watch the sun go down! Ive captured some really amazing sunsets from the trail on the cliff. Lots of open space along with forest like terrain. It even has a kids play area and a place to bbq. This time of year many people are having professional photographs taken. I have seen that a lot lately. If you dont come check it out you are missing a great little getaway where you dont even realize you are in the city anymore.
Beautiful nature hikes
Very nice and clean .
Nice, calm park
Its an awesome little park. Its not closed on Saturday or Sunday. My dogs love it.
Play area is good but great for nature walks
Great place to hike and watch heels fly.
Really nice place to play with your kid or take a walk. Not a place to walk alone after the sun goes down.
Its pretty
Love this park except for the trash and I find 4 out of 7 days a week.
Flowers blooming. Had the place to ourselves
I love this place SOOOOOO much!
Love taking my dog for hikes here

My dogs like the little trails that wind up and down the canyon. It feels very nature-y.There is a Poke Spot/Ingress portal for players of those games
