Older theatre with restrooms on second floor. I can’t give it more than four stars just based on the age of theatre and how stuffy I felt inside. Allergies kicked inn immediately. I have to say the sound and picture was pretty good for the age and service on the upper end of really good as theaters go, so not all that bad. Seats didn’t recline or have high backs, but had good cushioning. I can’t speak to prices as i was there for a free preview but have to think this place can’t be charging more than $12 a movie.

Good Movie spot. Good layout. Standard options for snacks etc..The only thing they do need to upgrade here are the chairs. Too many movie theaters have reclining chairs now & Regal Edwards Metro Point does not. Once they do, they always be my go-to since theyre so close to where I live. But for now, for an extra 5-10 drive, I can recline...I still definitely recommend this spot for seeing movies!! Its a good theatre & you do get to choose your seats, which is nice. But yeah... Recliners would be nice :-)

Do you like paying $15 for a movie and watch a full head instead of the movie? maaaaybe its time to update the seats and give people more room, more comfort and higher angles so a short person dont end up watching half a movie. I have no plans coming back unless i know i have an unobstructed view

I’m looking over the reviews I notice that Whom ever only response to the reviews with 5 star rating dismissing the suggestions to upgrade seating and room also over all viewing quality for the price. Well I’m here to say ALL feedback is valuable. I love going to this location and I believe the experience and the dollar amount should match since CUSTOMERS ARE PAYING FOR THE THEATRE, Right? It is the Service to the CUSTOMERS THAT MAKE THE MONEY. Just observing and I love going to this location but WE ALL KNOW THAT THIS LOCATION IS THE HOTTEST SHOPPING SPOT IN THE OC AS A MATTER OF FACT THE WORLD FOR THAT MATTER

This aged theater makes you realize how much better the movie experience has improved. The biggest reason why I gave it two stars is from the visibility aspect. These old school high-back chairs make it a challenge seeing the screen. I found myself constantly adjusting my sight so that I could look down the middle of the two chairs in front of me.

Went on a weekday afternoon and it was fantastic. Great movie, popcorn and nice friendly staff. Very nice seats.

Pretty good location, i love it.. great staff members, and super clean every time i come, the restrooms are always sparkly clean i dont know how they amazingly brand new.

The theater sells beer so thats pretty good, but I would recommend drinking before hand if you are a heavy drinker, since I ended spending more money on beer than anything else there. I would prefer they gave you the beer bottle instead of cup since if you dont seen them pour it. it ends up feeling like they didnt give you the full bottle, plus it is easy to spill carrying it to the theater.

We have been coming to this location for over 20 years. It is our favorite Edwards-Regal location.  It is very pleasant to come here.  Plenty of parking and fabulous restaurants adjacent to the movies. The grounds sparkle.The customer service is World Class.  The General Manager Jeff Wright has a Commitment to Excellence.  He really cares about his customers and make a difference.

Went online got a bundle package (4 tickets and $20 for concession) for $60. got there had a bit of personal trouble looking through my email for the tickets. The guy at the window scanner ticket and concession stand and then tried to charge us $0.90 extrahe wasnt understanding in or didnt read that the tickets were for two tickets each after about 5 to 10 minutes of arguing with this everything gets figured out we got two large sodas, a medium popcorn into candies for thirty bucks extremely overpriced $7 soda $5 candies then we finally went to the empty movie theater and watch the new movie Dolittle

This is usually our go to theater. Although it does not have reclining seats, it is clean, and in a good location with ample parking. Friendly staff and nice choice of snacks. For some reason it did not give us the option to choose our seats when we booked today. Not sure what happened..

This theatre could be better. For instance they do not have reclining seats and some showings, especially the new releases do not have assigned seating. So arrive early to save your seats. Also bathrooms are upstairs on the second floor.

Large movie theater that is most likely showing the movie you are hoping to see. Due to 12 screens they keep well performing titles around for longer. Very Cool lobby and an abundance of snacks, drinks, candy and real food. Affiliated with Regal which has a great rewards program. If you havent signed up, do it now. You will have a free movie pass in no time. Only downside to this theater is that not every screen has recliner seating. Recliner seating with the ability to reserve your seat is the way of the future. Newly built and newly renovated Theaters has recliners for every screen but you will only find it on higher priced showings here. Besides that its an great theater with many shops and dining options near by.

Our flight was delayed and the staff let us bring in our luggage. Its so close to John Wayne airport why not stop here to kill some time.

Really good theater; however, its not keeping up with the technology. No recliner seats and the concession stand doesnt have a very wide range: for instance, no healthy snacks. But nice people and a very good screen and sound.

Nice seats. Good parking options. The plaza smell like jasmine in the spring season, which makes the experience even more pleasant.

Prices are high for the type of seating it offers. There are better venues with better seats and better prices within Orange county

While visiting a friend in Santa Ana California, went to this theater to see a movie. Very comfortable.

No way of contacting management for this theater to complain so doing here! My 17 year old son and his friends went to this theater last night after spending the day at the fair. I was sad to hear that they had a bad experience when I picked them up. To start off they were not allowed to purchase tickets to a Rated R movie after providing their student IDs. The cashier requested that they show their Aries (parent portal) profile! Seriously...to watch a movie! After they decided to buy tickets to another movie, they asked for student ticket discounts. They were told that the student discounts are only valid Monday through Thursday. Again...seriously...student discounts on weekdays when kids are supposed to be on school! After buying their tickets and since this theater is not reserved seating, they decided to hang out in the theater lobby to wait for their movie in order to get good seats. Well, they were told they couldn’t wait in the lobby and needed to leave! I am extremely disappointed and furious that my boys had to experience this type of service! We go to the movies all of the time and have never had to experience this in L.A. County theaters!

My experience was horrible. First of all coustomer service was horrible. We got I the movies we had already purchase our tickets on the app. So we check in and then straight to the conccecions where we wanted to order some popcorn and a large soda. The girl that help us was not even friendly at all, not even a hi how you guys doing or a smile nor a thank you for choosing Regal Cinemas nothing.... After we order we got the popcorn and they were old and nasty then we order a large coke and the large coke it was not even all the way full cup. I had to ask if she can fill it up all the way up and give me some new popcorn. Then ask her where is the bitter she rudlly reply its all the way back. Im asking because its my first time there. Well she seem pretty bother.... Its like why go work somewhere your not happy or managers are not seeing these kimd of behavior of the peoole they hired. The seats were okay. The movie was great, awesome theater, great sound... It was kept okay the butter and straw area was a liltle messy and bathroom were a lilttle bit dirty. Would i go again??? The only reason to go back if the other Regal Cinemas we go to is full again. very dissapointed.

This place is garbage. Cinema has no fixed seats, so you have to arrive 1+ hour before the show starts, otherwise you will seat in the worst locations. I will never come back.

Friendly staff. The seats are outdated but better than the triangle location. They sale beer and wine in a bottle.

The seats were small and you cant pull the armrests up to sit next to each other. Other than that, its a clean place to watch a good movie.

The seats were really gross, sticky stuff on the arm rests and old used napkins shoved in the cupholders that looked like theyre been there for a long time. The WHOLE screen room smelled like mildew and that smell did not go away for the entirety of the 3 hour movie.

No reclining chairs here, but helpful personnel

This theater is a little out of the way place. Its located in a small doing area that includes a few simple places to eat. Parking is ample in t multi story garage locayed right next to the theater. On weekends you can often find local small bands playing for free in the courtyard. I think many oriole miss this place due to its close location to South coast Plaza. Also if you firehouse the Edwards app. You get points that can be used for popcorn. The points add up quickly plus you can use Costco purchased discount tickets and get full credit.

Decent theater but a bit dated compared to other theaters in the area. Decent priced tickets super expensive concessions. Recommend eating at one of the restaurants nearby instead.

Not satisfied with condition of the theater not cleaning after each movie there was trash all over in the seating area the seats themself where filthy and way to many previews and commercials before the actual movie after 30 minutes of previews I was ready to leave this is the second bad experience at this particular theater I dont think I will be returning

Overall great theater. Located near some good shopping, entertainment, and dining options. There is live entertainment on the weekends. There is ample parking in the adjoining structure. Staff are courteous and management responsive to customer comments. If you see something, say something. I have commented about replacing paper towels and tidying up the condiment bar, and staff have always been responsive. There are now a gluten free and vegetarian options in the theater. The restrooms are always clean. One of the few theater locations that has something for the whole family.

I like this theater. Its probably one of the nicest ones in my immediate area.Ive been here twice. First to see Alice in Wonderland and just recently to see This is 40. Enjoyed both movies and had great comfortable seats with some overpriced concessions. I could bypass the concessions. I dont really need to be eating anything while watching a movie but whoever I go with always insists upon it so whatever.Theres ample parking. Ive never had an issue. Theres parking for the mall, parking for the theater, and then theres level parking by the shopping center. It can be a bit busy during rush hour but you can still manage somehow.I was able to catch dinner and a late show. Id be back here again if I wanted to see another movie.

It is a multiplex theater with expensive tickets. Popcorn is good. Seats are good. First run screenings have the best setup.

Cool spot real clean but did not have the recliners

Was invited here by regal for a crowne club screening of LongShot. Drive in traffic after a long hard day of work to be told by the manager that there isnt a screening here at all and they have no information about any screening. I have a ticket in my hand that I got through Regal Crowne Club and not only are they not honoring the ticket, but not offering any compensation or apologies at all. Will not be back here ever again! Me and my friends came out of our way to come here too.

I have been here with my family and the workers there are Amazing! They are very nice and the place is so cool! I’m going there tomorrow and I can’t wait!

Love this theater. Im a little biased. Great rewards system through regal cinema card. Because its located in a smaller shopping center with less outlets the theater is not like most where they are ridiculously crowded.

Great little theater! It can sometimes get really crowded, because its so close to the South Coast Plaza Mall, but the employees are always nice and the theaters are always clean! The bathrooms are a little weird, they are upstairs and if you ever wait until right before the movie to use the restroom, it can be a little difficult to get up there and back down in time for your movie... haha

Great theater and atmosphere. The only downside is that the cleanliness of the theater isnt very good.

I love metro pointe. But was disappointed in Sana at the movie theater. People that only see black or white shouldn’t be in customer service. We had the same experience as Norma. Your kids must have dealt with Sana too. I don’t mind being told no, but it CAN be said in a friendly manner. Sana missed that training.

I always have a great experience here. Mostly people have been appropriate (expect kids, but theyre kids). The sound and visual have always been great without a glitch. Their snack options are horrible. Id buy something there if they had anything with an iota of health. I asked the staff person, Do you have anything healthy? To which he responded, You mean like in the candy? I responded, Nevermind. It doesnt look like you do and I walked away. I guess they dont hire for intelligence there. Keep the job fella...life will be tough.
