We started out early. Staff were very friendly and seemed to be glad we were there. Masks required in the proshop but they have a mask free walk up window to check in. Nice little food eatery next to the proshop. The greens were really fast for early morning and got faster as the day progressed. Not many trees, traps or water. Fairly wide open. Hard pan between fairways really lets the ball roll. Greens were in excellent shape. And you are not forced to ride a cart so lots of exercise if you walk. A great time.
My first time there, It was a pleasure, course in great shape. Greens were fast and very undulating. There was one drawback. our GPSs were way off on many holes. A bunch of holes had to be changed about 4 years ago and GPS hasnt cought up.Great course though.
Hadnt played at Trysting Tree for at least 20 years. Love all the improvements they have made out there. Definitely a bit more challenging then I remembered it years ago.
Enjoyable round. Course well maintained. Greens and fairways gorgeous.
Been golfing there for 30+ years. Never had a problem getting tee time. Fairways and greens are in great condition most of the time.
The course is in excellent shape well maintained green s were smooth and fast
Always a good time. Trysting Tree does a good job of not making you uncomfortable or like you arent good enough or rich enough to play there. I feel like there is a good spectrum of people, the course is a good time with some changing elements and scenery. I always look forward to playing there and have yet to be disappointed
Best conditions of any course Ive played this year. Kudos to the crew !!
Had a beautiful day and fun at the driving range!
Very friendly playable course. Greens are firm but true.
This course is almost always in beautiful shape. It can play long for average to short hitters, but its always always fun
Absolutely beautiful fairways were nice and greens were fast loved it..
Nice course fun and nice driving range
Very nice shape greens real fast
Was really nice. Sat next to a tree with some food and relaxed while taking in the sites before getting my hole in one.
Trysting tree is one of my favorite courses to play. The back nine has two new holes and the front has been modified for even better play. Not many trees or slope, but challenging if you’re anywhere but the fairways. They’ve cleverly utilized freak species of zombie grass around the greens and in the rough that will cause you to question your skills.Additionally, Sean (the club pro) is one of the nicest and knowledgeable guys you could hope to meet in Oregon’s world of golf. He fit me with a set of pings and matched me to a great instructor as well getting my kids in the game. He wears a lot of hats coordinating with OSU golf teams, organizing tourneys and running the show, but he always has time to see how I’m doing. They have a great pro shop, the beer girl is hot and their website makes getting a tee-time easy.
Huge greens, fun to play. Beautiful placement alongside the river. Looks as if lots of people come together every day to make this place look great.
Love the new design.
Best public course on earth
Wide open course. Still some hazards but great course if you gotta slice like me. LolRecommend a cart. Back 9 is a hellava walk
Course is in great shape but when I pay $60 and call and make a tee time in advanced I would prefer not to get pared with strangers
I love fast greens. Its in great shape.
Trysting tree is a great golf course, recently redesigned. Great practice areas and grass diving range.
Wide open fairways but long. Used by the Oregon State Beavers so the course is well maintained and the Greens are fast.
Great course verry well maintained.
Well maintained and very scenic!
We hosted our son and daughter in law’s wedding rehearsal dinner here with great success. From planning to catering - Sean and his crew went above and beyond to accommodate what became the perfect evening!!!
T boxes were not very well, yardage markers hard to find, quality if course not worth money paid...but greens were nice.
My husband and 3 friends went golfing at Trysting Tree toward the end of August 2015. All 4 of them had a wonderful time! The employees were friendly and professional, and the course was well maintained. The cost was also affordable and the musician playing on the patio was a great way to cap off a nice mini reunion of friends. We will be doing this again next year for sure.
Its a well maintained course. Good lay out. Well appointed pro shop. Cafe is meh though the staff is nice.
Other than a cold North wind the course played great as always.
Fun course that provides plenty of challenges scrambling around elevated greens. Casual, professional atmosphere. Good practice facilities. Go Beavs!
Great place, great people, great golf course! Combine that with 25 good friends and BAM! Just a lot of fun. Thats whats lifes abiut, right?
Had a good time. Nice coarse good greens and little ruff.
Wish it had better on course facilities like ball cleaners, benches, water, sprinkler yardage markers, etc. But, the course is in great shape and really fun.
Very beautiful as well as peaceful I enjoyed the flowers immensely. Nice quiet place for relaxing.
Great fun course in Corvallis. Wide open fairways and fun challenging greens.
We were there to attend a benefit concert. We didnt play the course.
Super friendly
Great course, awesomely kept greens. Really good driving range and practice greens. Picturesque in places. Nice proshop. Great snack shop with Microbrews on tap and in bottles and cans. Really good food menu. Large seating areas inside and out.
Great day on the course. Love the new improvements and layout. Cant wait for it to be totally completed.
Beautiful course, great driving range. Greens in fantastic cindition.
It was great although they could use more hazards
Weve played Trysting Tree for the last ten years when passing through Corvallis and have always enjoyed it but today we were very disappointed that they were not more forthcoming with information about the condition of the course. Traditionally public courses warn you upon booking a tee time about unusual conditions, if fact, frequently play is discounted.
Good track, layout has changed but very forgiving.
Great course, played here many times throughout my college career. Lots of great times with great friends. 10/10 would recommend.
Good course. Greens roll fast and true.
Back to full strength. Great course
Legit practice green. Nice course. Under minor reconstruction.
Very nice course
Great course with some work being done right now to install some new irrigation. Greens werent very consistent, but the rest of the play was phenomonal.
Course was in great shape, new layout was nice.
One of the worst courses I ever played. To me its a bunch of holes thrown out in a field. Pricey for what it is. Wont go back unless they send me a free round of golf. Lol
The course is well kept but not very challenging. The men in the club house are some of the rudest people I have ever met. They act like you are wasting their time, and the power of working at a golf course goes to their head. There driving range balls are always out, and very overpriced. They have poor time management between tee times, and are constantly hassling people on the course. There is another golf course close by that is far superior, a little hidden gem called Marysville on 2020 Sw Allen a dirt road out of Avery park.
Fun course, recently redone too.
The course is always in great condition and very reasonably priced.
Wide Open course that is a great time.
New layout. GPS range locator not working yet.
Great course, friendly staff.
I love the driving range and putting green
New design looks great!
Overpriced and otherwise average. Few trees.
Loved it
Beautiful course at a fair price
Was not kind to this duck fan!
Run down...
Too pricey
Keep it in the fairway!
Very nice
To expensive but nice course
Great course
Fun
Welcomes Special Olympics athletes.
Simple and cheap
Great driving range
Great golf course
Fun new layout! :)
Easy walking course
Tons of work going on for upgrades
Course is in terrible shape. They still charge 35 bucks when its missing two holes.
NICE RUGS!
