Great place to stop for a quick sack lunch with our dogs. Lots of folks fishing. Lots of picnic benches. A few semi-covered picnic benches. Easy to social distance.

Nice park to enjoy a day of fishing. Plenty of parking and picknic area. Limited facilities which are in need of repair. Off the I37 near Corpus Christi. No nearby stores and only 1 way in and out. Public boat ramp with unpaved parking. Subject to flooding.

I love to go there and think, as I do that, I start to clean for our future .This is what I did

Reserved for Easter. Had a blast the whole easter weekend. Bbq, camping, and fishing. Brought horseshoes and a volleyball net. Had plenty of room for egg toss and egg hunt

Good place for the family, however other familys are nosey. If youre into that sort of thing perfect place for you1

Went there in the middle of the week. Around 11ish. Hardly any body there. Port a potty was clean. Which is always good

Good place for crab fishing...make sure you bring your bug spray, mosquito quite a bit

Its always inviting and nostalgic. Well taken care of and people are always bustling in the area.

It was so peaceful, only thing is those darn mosquitoes!

The only issue I really found with it they needed to maintain the grass and maybe a few more shaded areas for the elderly or young.

Ive been going there since before it was renamed.. I would give it five stars but theres no restrooms and this becomes an issue almost immediately upon arrival. Ive never had any problems with people or law enforcement out there its always been peaceful and Serene. The fish always bite.. the site is well kept and litter free. I tell you what, open the restrooms back up and Ill keep them clean myself for a small fee since nobody else wanted to do it.. lmk. Hehehe.. seriously tho.-BluE

Nice tables and pavilions, but bathrooms are boarded up and look gross even from the outside. The grounds look nice though

Fantastic place

Corpus Christi Parks manages this park. Camping permitted for three days with permit available by calling or email. No hookups or water. RVs ok. Tents ok. Free permit. Picnic tables. Fishing (Texas freshwater license required and available online) on the Nueces River! Caught only channel cat and 95% were under the 12 minimum size. Clean and trash dumped regularly. Restroom center park but they are boarded up and not available. Street lighting. Jose the manager is a very great person to work with getting a permit if wanting to camp! Several people ejected because of no permit. Walmart and restaurants and all kinds of shopping just a short 3 mile drive away.The cons - Constant Interstate traffic noise. Airport plane traffic occasionally overhead. CAUTION! If your in a RV watch the height of the bridge. Do not exit the interstate coming from the south. Go to a U turn and enter from the North to avoid the low clearance under the bridge. Same leaving, go out South. Information center and bathrooms closed. No dump station or water or electric.

Absolutely loved it! I took my dog there early in the am. Its a huge open space, what dog wouldnt love that and there were plenty of flowers and birds to chase. Nice place to chill and sit by the h20.

Amazing scenery, very clean and being so close to the water is refreshing. Beware of the old man in the blue truck. He is cranky and if you are enjoying the scenery in his self described spot, he will get angry and act like hes calling the cops on a walkie talkie. Other than him, I loved it. Great fishing too

Absolutely no bathrooms and it was very inconvenient.

Super fun. Fishing was great had lots of fun with all my girls, and grand kids. If it werent for the wind it would have been a 5+

Its a nice park site down and relax, do some fishing or do some walk they keep it clean one thing there no bathrooms.

Its gr8 n camping allowed for Easter weekend! Tents,barbecue pits n families having fun fishing n camping,bike riding,jet skiing,boating! Have fun in the sun!

Beware during times of high water, deep water at entry. Still recovering from Harvey, so no facilities. East on of highway, so you hear traffic. Prettyclean, option to fish or see birds LOTS of room for picnics and games!

Simple boat launch, great place to fish, spend time with the family and/or friends. Places to sit and eat, though I would recommend a table cover. Also a large field for activities.

Nice place to come and park for a few days. A three day permit can be acquired from the park staff or at city hall for free. There is a three day renewal which can be done online at CC city hall web site. Six day total free stay. The location is nice with trash pick up and grass cutting but not much else. No toilets, water, or amenities whats so ever. The two building here are broken run down and boarded up from being derelict. There is supposed fishing here but no one seems to catch anything worth gutting. Nice place if you dont mind the interstate noise.

Nice riverside location, open grassy area adjacent to a rather busy and noisy highway. Popular fishing spot for the locals. At time of writing, free 3 night unserviced camping by city permit only. Park could use a bit of cleanup, however users need to take personal responsibility for proper disposal of trash, and hazardous discarded fishing line etc. Some sketchy folks frequent the area.

Hey, not a bad place to stop and eat by the side of the river while you are passing through. There are picnic tables with shade available.

First off: NO BATHROOMS AVAILABLELots of picnic tables and some of them are covered with a canopy. Many of the picnic tables have an open grill within 5 feet of the table.There is a boat ramp under the bridge.Lots of room for fishing. Overnight stays are possible if you have a permit and it must be displayed.Was here over 3 hours did not see police at hourly intervals as reported by another reviewer.

Um.... its not really a park, unless you mean a place to park your vehicle, a couple of picnic tables is the extent on activities lol, fishing access, limited by drop offs of the bank with tall grass,

My first night was not bad. Not every site has a bbq pit. No fire rings. Plenty of lights around the park for good at night. Highway noise was minimal. No hook ups for Rvs. There are bathrooms (Didnt use). Park requires a permit for camping. Website on sign has minimal information on how to obtain this. Stripes HEB and Walmart dont sell the CAMPING permit. Fishing is allowed in the river.

Its clean, beautiful,and very peaceful. It was very relaxing by the Nueces River!!!The only thing I didnt like was that the restrooms were shut down permanently!
