We spent 3 hours here. The displays were very impressive! Some of the best we have experienced in our National Parks.

It is nicely designed. All of the displays are well kept. Plenty of park rangers to answer questions. The entrance from the parking lot is semi far, but it is handicap friendly. There is also a drop off spot right in front of the entrance.

Video was great, displays were amazing and the water feature just outside the building is awesome, except it didnt have any water. Staff was super helpful and informative. This experience gives the feel of a walk through the past. Also I didnt know that Corinth is tied to the Shiloh battle.

Extremely well done, artistically​ inspiring and informative. Very cool architecture - building looks as if under siege. Reflecting pond in garden area unique and moving. Film was pretty good with mix of personal and political - and good attention paid to slavery and the contraband camp (ZERO mention in Shiloh film). Exhibits were well done but nothing spectacular. Overall a great museum that needs to be advertised more!!!

Amazing place to visit. Full of history.

Nicely done. Not a huge parking lot. If you are driving an RV, come on a day with few people or park elsewhere and walk here.The movie was good, but they also have videos in the rest of the displays. You can spend a few hours here if you like civil war history.On the walk up, they have items embedded into the side walk that zig zags up the hill to replicate the zig zag pattern you would run if you were retreating under fire. The items might be things you dropped or left behind as you fled. Interesting way to get you thinking before you ever even enter the building.

A pleasant surprise. Recommended by the rangers at Shiloh. The sculpture fountain is a must-see.

We visited from the UK and the NPS is the Americas Jewell in the Crown, although Im not sure that either the US Government or enough citizens realise it. This is a new Centre, beautifully laid out. The entrance footpath is cleverly designed and the water sculpture at the rear showing the civil war timeline was inspired. The volunteer staff are incredible. Keep up the brilliant work..

A very high quality exhibit about the Civil War time in the Corinth area.Films, animated panorama, artifacts, maps and even a bookstore. The best Corinth has to offer a visitor wanting to learn more about this important time in American history.

An excellent historical venue. One of the finest museums. You can not find a better staff. The bookstore is up to date and well stocked.

Awesome place, glad we made the extra trip back to Mississippi from Shiloh.

Very nice historical exhibits. Really enjoyed hearing the audio reading of letters from those who were there and related pictures. Brings it to life.

The rangers there were very friendly and informative, the exhibits were very neat, and the bathrooms were extremely clean. Those are my big 3 for any Historical Park/Center.No complaints whatsoever! Make sure to check out their historical movies while youre there!

My wife and I traveled here to see some civil war artifacts and learn about the civil war more in detail. There was a severe lack of actual artifacts but an extreme amount of detail as far what went on in the area of Corinth during that time period. My main complaint was that it was ALL in wall plaque form, and you were forced to read about it all. I think the main draw for us was the actual architecture of the building itself and the water feature on the backside was extremely interesting and well thought out. Other than this, if you are looking for a museum experience this is not one, but they also do not claim that. Its a fun free adventure to have with kids or if you love to read about that time period but was not what I was expecting. We liked it, but its a once youve seen it youve seen it kind of experience.

Nice presentation of the Civil war events surrounding Shiloh and Cornith battlefields. The description of the slavery issue was also well done, but any further desciption of Civil war enents past Cornith was missing.

Very nice girls inside and a nice illustration of a smooth bore gun used here in 1862. I saw a neat looking book on railroads of the South. A little expensive so I will look for it at my library.

Went twice in two days, and both times the female worker acted as if we were annoying her both days. Also showed little interest in answering any questions we had in regards to the battle. 2 stars because the facility was nice.

I was very upset, because there was absolutely NO prior indication of the exhibit being CLOSED anywhere until after driving 605 miles from Roanoke VA. I have no problem with the reason for closing (updating & remodeling) of the facility. You would think they would give local hotels and such a heads up !! Totally disappointedI and very frustrated !!

A wonderful rendition of history. The staff gets into character to show and tell how life was in tbe 1860s in Corinth. Highly recommended. Plan on spending several hours to get the full effect.

4th National Park I have visited in 6 months. Three young girls working this one and not a one spoke to greet me or ask anything. Parks might want to look into this.

An awesome place to visit. Unwind and learn something new. The rangers are extremely informative and help in any way. Be sure to start your journey with the introductory video. Artifacts await you as you walk up the zig zag entrance. Thanks again to our U.S.Park Rangers. Also, the U.S. Park passport book stamps are in the gift shop to the right of the register. For future goers, ITS DEFINITELY WORTH YOUR TIME and INTEREST to visit!! Enjoy

If you dont stop here youve missed a great educational experience. Never knew the whys or how comes that Shiloh was so important in the civil war. Plan on spending at least 2 hours just to see the interior exhibits

Went for the 175th anniversary of the battle of corinth. Had a very fun time. It was rather informative.

This place is a hidden gem in Corinth. The staff is well informed and did a great job sharing the history of the area’s role in the civil war.

Good spot to visit between Memphis and Nashville. Learn a little history and they have good facilities. There is no cost involved in visiting this site as well.

It was closed when we went which was a disappointment for the kids. None of the signs outside or on the roads indicated this so you dont know until you get to the door.

What a very cool experience. The history of this area is a critical part of the Civil War and was fascinating to learn about. Some of the displays were so well done. Quite an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic interpretive center! Combined with at least two days of Shiloh Battlefield touring, you get an excellent understanding of the Civil War in this region of America!

Stopped in when visiting Shiloh (only 21 miles away!). The rangers were very helpful and informative, and the displays were good.

Corinth National Battlfield Park is excellent and should be coupled to Shiloh National Battlfield Park. The towns grand Civil War history is on display with available maps to view the numerous, nearby antebellum homes, earthwork fortifications, and rail lines. Visitors can better understand U.S. Grants rise and the Unions Western Front strategy after a visit. The friendly, local rangers are talented in describing what happened in and around Corinth during the wars duration.Also, the Contraband Camp and headquarters of Johnston, Rosecrans, and PGT Beauregard, unique to this pioneer town during that era, are easily visited. Nearby is Corinths beautiful, historic downtown with its nice restaurants and the towns palpable civic pride. One would be wise to base their sight-seeing travels in Corinth and even visit this interpretive center before Shiloh.

This is an outstanding place to visit. The park service was very deliberate in providing the facts of the battlefield without an agenda or slant. Creative exhibits and thought provoking perspective. Visit this location BEFORE venturing to Shiloh, it is well worth it.

Well maintained and the walking tour is very well done with staff that present material during anniversary of Corinth. Would recommend visiting Davis Bridge at 1145 Essary Springs Rd, Pocahontas, TN 38061 just west of Corinth.

Excellent museum with lots of interactive displays. Nice monument to the war. Saw a live fire demonstration while we were there. Nice gift shop as well.

I really enjoyed this center. Historians beware. You may not agree with The Center that the Battle of Corinth was all about the Contraband camp. I know that I disagree with this twist on history. The battle was about the control of the railroads. There is a lot to see at here. It was my first visit and I have always lived in Corinth.

A lot of great information on Corrinth

Park rangers were very friendly and were a wealth of information. They answered every question and I asked some very in depth ones. Excellent films and gift shop as well.

Fantastic museum. Lots of exhibits and a movie about Corinth during the civil war. The museum is much larger than the one at Shiloh. Very helpful and knowledge rangers on duty. No charge to visit the museum. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent little museum showcasing Corinths history in the civil war. The best part is that its free. It wont take long to go through but the exhibits are informative and well put together and kept up with

Definitely worth the drive! Great interpretative center that includes the Battle of Shiloh as well as the Seige and Battle of Corinth.

As a proud citizen of Corinth I truly am proud we have such a remarkable and beautiful piece of history to share. It is an incredibly well managed and fun museum. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

A terribly moving and beautiful experience. There are fascinating bas-reliefs of discarded soldiers possessions along the walk to the front entrance. By the time we saw the bas-relief of running soldiers by the front door, I was crying.
